A cute play on words,Well maybe, you decide. I ran across this story  and I thought I just had to share it.(I'll reserve my comments until after you read it)------->

UNION CITY, Ga. - A McDonald's employee spent a night in jail and is facing criminal charges because a police officer's burger was too salty, so salty that he says it made him sick

Kendra Bull was arrested Friday, charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct and freed on $1,000 bail.

Bull, 20, said she accidentally spilled salt on hamburger meat and told her supervisor and a co-worker, who "tried to thump the salt off."

On her break, she ate a burger made with the salty meat. "It didn't make me sick," Bull told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

But then Police Officer Wendell Adams got a burger made with the oversalted meat, and he returned a short time later and told the manager it made him sick.

Bull admitted spilling salt on the meat, and Adams took her outside and questioned her, she said.

"If it was too salty, why did (Adams) not take one bite and throw it away?" said Bull, who has worked at the restaurant for five months. She said she didn't know a police officer got one of the salty burgers because she couldn't see the drive-through window from her work area.

Police said samples of the burger were sent to the state crime lab for tests.

City public information officer George Louth said Bull was charged because she served the burger "without regards to the well-being of anyone who might consume it."

So now you tell me ,Is this going too far? Maybe its me.But our we becoming a society of  the overly senstive? We file Law suits at the drop of a dime.We stretch, bend, curve the truth and somethings withhold how we really feel to try and remain inside a politically correct box.

I could go on and on  about the many times we as a society may have gone way overboard .Or somethimes turning a minor issue into a colosal one. I welcome any and all comments.(Keep in mind )-->,The person filing  the  law suit in the story is a Police Officer.

Next time she should just spit on the cops food like the rest of the low-lifes do.....

I have actually seen several cases of jerks doing gross things to cops food because they don't like cops.

Funny thing is, when the Burger joint gets robbed and the employee gets pistol-whipped, the first thing they do is call the cops.......

It sounds deliberate to me. My daughter was a manager at McD's and standard procedure for meat, tainted in any way, was for it to be thrown out. Spilling salt on it would qualify it for the trash.
If someone that hates police, could actually do that to an officer's food, they deserve to go to jail!
If they are capable of doing that to a cop, imagine what they are capable of doing to you!

Why didn't the officer just tell the manager that the berger was too salty and ask for a different one? This is a waist of court time and money. The officer should have to pay all charges for being a frivolous prick.

Maybe the officer was concerned that there was something other than salt in the burger. But what has happened to the days where you get a new burger and sincere apologies? I worked at McDonalds when I was in High School. Every day we had "crazy lady" come through the drive thru and order a Big Mac. Everyone in the store was familiar with "crazy lady's" car and knew what we were in for. She would get her sandwich and drive away. Usually an hour later she would come back with 1/4 of the sandwich and tell us that it was bad and her son couldn't eat it. We were instructed to apoligise and give her a new sandwich. I asked the manager why can't we just tell her to get lost. He said it is just easier to give good customer service and write off a Big Mac as waste.

Spill to much salt on a frozen patty. Rinse it off, then cook it. How hard would that have been? The officer probably did take it to an extreme, which wasn't necessary, but with all the punks out there, you never know what you are getting in your fast food. The safest place to eat, is at home. Bag lunch? Yes, it's healthier.

The person making the burger didn't even know it was a Cop that ate it.I don't think it was on purpose.Just return the burger and either get another one or your money back.

RE_READ the story folks, SHE TOLD HER SUPERVISOR and A CO-WORKER, the "Co-Worker attempted to thump the salt off", but why didn't her supervisor TOSS OUT THE MEAT? If she goes to jail, then her co-worker that tried to remove the salt as well as the IDIOT for a manager that probably said USE IT (I know been there done that at McDonalds myself), so she did. SHE EVEN ATE one of the TAINTED (Oversalted burgers) and it did not make her sick.

Therefore I believe the IDIOT MANAGER that didn't tell the employees to toss the meat SHOULD TAKE FULL RESPONSABILITY for this, not the girl that was "just doing her LOW-PAYING SERVICE JOB!"

And why did the cop EAT the whole damn thing, what'd he do swallow it whole? Come on, if I got something like that, first thing I'm doing is TAKING IT BACK with a COMPLAINT! The cop is taking this too far to the extreme.

God forbid we spill a little too much salt, pepper or some ingredient over the usual amount for fear we all end up in jail for over herbing or over condimenting a freakin .99ยข hamburger!

The cop did not eat the whole thing, as samples were sent to the lab for testing. They had better hope it is only salt on that burger!

I saw the sun, though it didn't shine Gave up no shadows, gave out no way to know the time No wind to blow the silver leaves The drone of clever talk just stopped The air hangs out, hesitates [ Find more Lyrics at www.mp3lyrics.org/1Rq ] to carry a thought Away from me And the sky colored heavy gray August Day Stir the dust and carve a rhyme Barefoot blues watch and wait till suppertime Will a smile break through Distant thunder and the slow dance Static lightning sky daring me to take a chance And say that I love you And the sky colored heavy gray August Day
