I love Steak n Shake. The best cheeseburger ever.

I tried steak nshake,I'm sorry they are not in the same league as the other burgers mentioned.Its like they take a reg sized burger and split it in half to make it seem like you have more meat.Its paper thin.
Candi,That steak n cheese sounds good,just add some peppers to that and its complete.

Have you tried their caramel apple milk shake? I heard it was really good, I couldn't find it at the steak n shake I would to.

Nah. Straight up vanilla shake for me. Same with burgers. Cheese and ketchup only. I have simple tastes, because I appreciate the basic flavors.
How can you actually tell what the meat itself tastes like, if it is smothered in a salad?

You could put a dead mouse on a bun, but if smothered with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, ketchup, mayo, etc., you would not know you were eating it.

Wendy's frostys are the best chocolate shakes I have ever had. They now have vanilla. I have yet to try one, although I should have been the first in line! LOL!

When I was a kid, I remember a place called Carroll's in Middletown NY, that had the best burgers I have ever eaten.
It was a chain, but when McD's came along, they put them under.

At 11 years old, I could eat 5 Carroll's cheeseburgers, an order of fries, and a shake. I think I weighed 90 pounds back then.

I miss Carroll's, they were the original McD's for me. They had better burgers too.

Never had White Castle, but my older sister swears they are the best. They sell them frozen in Publix. She says they are as good as buying them in the restaurant itself.
I will have to try them.

I like the occasional burger with all the BLEEP on it. I like the Whopper, even though I am not crazy about flame broiled burgers.
Unless I am cooking them on the barbie at home! And they get the simple cheese/ketchup treatment.

You do realize Burger King is not real beef?I stoped going there awhile back.I'm surpries you never heard of Geno's,I thought it was a Northeast thing.Seeing how you grew up in NY and I in Philly.
