An amazing story?  A bull thought to have perished in the deadly Esperanza Fire of 2006, is found safe and sound roaming near San Jacinto.  But wait...this is a wild animal..it doesn't need humans to survive.  His 20 month adventure is evidence of that.  In fact, the bull was no worse for wear, even a little fatter. The problem he may face now is getting used to his new confines.  Once you've had a sense of freedom, getting fenced in could take some getting used to.  Of course, as we all know, time is not on the side of any branded and tagged bull....and.. that's....no bull!

Al, no doubt this is an amazing story. if at the end of the year we put together a top 20 stories for the LA broadcast market, let's remember this story of the bull who survived 20 months on his own.

I have a close named Al too. Only he is a minister from Richmond,ca and a close family friend. Nelson B. I think he might've also been a boxer.

Well I learned how to swim at the Richmond,ca plunge. I went to Elementary school, at both Tara Hill, and Collins in the Suburbs of Richmond, if there is a such thing we we moved to would be it before moving to Vallejo. So the moral of the story is I never really left that place. That's where my father put in all his work as a pastor, and where my mom is still a speech therapist. Nelson B

The OC's my beat for FOX 11 News. But you can catch me covering just about any story, any place, any time. Have news, will travel! I've been doing that here at Fox 11 for 15 years, traveling coast to coast and south of the border. You never know what you might do or where you might end up and your assignment could change from one minute to the next. To me, that's what being a reporter is all about. And it's pretty cool working in an area where I was born and raised. Yep, I'm a native Angeleno and proud of it!! In case you're wondering, Naipo is Hawaiian, the short version of the 21-letter ancestral name, Naipoikamanaihookaahi....
Good luck on the pronunciation.
