Below you will find where supposibly Reverand Moss is taking over for Reverand Wright. I ask that while you read this, read between the lines. Someone has to drop out of the race by June 3rd.

Reverand Moss is due to take over the first of June. HUMMMMMMMMMM

I will beat anyone a weeks salary that if Obama wins the nomination that Reverand Wright will still be the head of Trinity .

Barack Obama has finally distanced himself from Rev. Jeremiah Wright and his incendiary remarks, but he has no plans to leave Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ.

After Obama called Wright’s comments “divisive and destructive” during a press conference this past week, a questioner noted that the new Trinity pastor, Rev. Otis Moss, had defended Wright and asked if Obama would continue attending the church.

“Well, the new pastor, the young pastor, Reverend Otis Moss, is a wonderful young pastor,” Obama responded, according to CQ Transcripts Wire.

“And as I said, I still very much value the Trinity community. I'll be honest. This obviously has put strains on that relationship, not because of the members or because of Reverend Moss but because this has become such a spectacle.

“And when I go to church, it's not for spectacle. It's to pray and to find a stronger sense of faith. It's not to posture politically. It's not to hear things that violate my core beliefs. And I certainly don't want to provide a distraction for those who are worshipping at Trinity.

“So as of this point, I'm a member of Trinity. I haven't had a discussion with Reverend Moss about it, so I can't tell you how he's reacting and how he's responding.”

Moss, the 37-year-old “hip-hop pastor” as he’s called by congregants, will become the head of Trinity in June. A Yale Divinity School graduate, he has been an assistant pastor at the church for two years.

In his Easter sermon at Trinity, he recited lyrics from Tupac Shakur’s “Thugz Mansion,” and called the late rapper “neither a saint nor demon, but all human.”

He also said rappers shouldn’t be overlooked because of a “proclivity for ghetto-istic conduct.”

Rev Wright went on a sabatical and odds are he will be one of Obamas' team if Obama gets elected. His views have always been radical and his teachings have not changed over the yrs.

People need to leave Rev Wright along, he has retired from being head of this church. People are condemning the 8,000 plus members of this church. Everything he said is the truth, it has nothing to do with Obama. Rev Wright is not running for anything, and Obama was not running for anything when Rev. Wright did the sermon that has everyone upset. American1966 if you are a member of this church you know that all sermons are taped, and I have copies of all of Rev. Wrights sermons I ordered them from the church because I wanted to hear all this hate filled sermons the media indicated this minister performed. I have not heard one hateful message. Yes, he talked about America, but it was not hate filled. He was talking about what America has done and we all know that American has its own home grown terrorist groups. People are judging all of the members of this church as well as the Heads of the national organization. I am not judging anyone's opinion, we as people need to stop listening to everything the media tells us; most of the time I find that the information is incorrect on some things. I could care less about the Minister, my focus is on Obama who talk about change but will not talk to the average american citizen, nor has he said what is his plan for change; We should be asking why has they put a restriction on Ms. Obama's Thesis until after the election? Those are the things I am interested in. I know what Obama is, and he is not President material.

peachesinkc I don't know where your coming from with your comments, there is nothing on my blog referring or looking down on any church member of trinity. Honestly I was not even referring to Rev Wright in any bad comments But I can if it makes you right. Rev or not his comments were ridiculous as well as stupid, but the american people have come to let the 15 minutes famers roll off their back. We need to stop letting it roll off are back, because if they cry and whine enough sooner or later someone will listen and then when they go to making and changing laws we as a people ask how the hell did that happen

American1966, I was not say that you were looking down on the church members, I was saying that some people are, maybe I should have indicated that on the news stations (CNN, Foxmsn etc. it seems to me that people are condemning the members. What you may think is ridiculous and stupid there are a lot of people that agree with what he was saying. I not trying to be right about anything nor am I perfect. I did not understand what you mean by the 15 minutes farmer etc. If you are talking about laws and rights, we are already losing a lot of them. My purpose when signing on to the blog is to view others opinions and have conversations, not to criticize anyone's blog or opinion.

Obama is a strong fella. Anyone that cant clearly separate the two had no intentions of voting for him to begin with but who cares...

I too have seen the videos and whoever the genious was that supressed 1000's of hours of video into snippets 2 mins long must be a producer for a reality TV show where they cut out the simple stuff and superimpose all the dirt.

Just as much as we wanted to see BUSH fail in 2004 we had to deal with it and he won. Same goes for Obama, the crybaby games are over. I think with all we've went through for 7 years, Obama deserves to say his peace in 4. And anyone who VOTED twice for BUSH shouldnt even be complaining or commenting. Because if Obama is just as responsible for Rev. Wrights comments, then you are just as much to blame for this mess we've been in for 7 years. Deal with it.
