The Coming War with Iran: 6 Days in Hell!

Newsmax Magazine's blockbuster issue has major cover stories, including an exclusive special report by Newsmax contributing editor and Iran expert Kenneth R. Timmerman, "Six Days to War," which lays out the scenario likely to unfold if the U.S. and Iran go to war.

In Timmerman's report you'll find out why "Six Days to War" could happen sooner than you think — as many American assets are already "in position" for an attack.

Timmerman also details the deadliness and unintended consequences of a U.S. attack against an increasingly militant Iran.

That attack could come sooner than you think.

As the Bush administration ratchets up the pressure, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs says the military option is still on the table and warns Iran that the U.S. can launch massive strikes using Navy and Air power.

The new American commander in the region, Gen. David Petraeus, has also told Congress that Iran is supporting Iraqi insurgents killing Americans. President Bush said in a White House address that Iran, along with al-Qaida, are "two of the greatest threats to America."

Timmerman's report on the looming war with Iran is based on sources including top Israeli intelligence officers, military and political leaders interviewed in Israel and Washington, D.C., and a key planning document — obtained exclusively by Newsmax — developed by the Iranian navy.

Timmerman is the bestselling author of "Countdown to Crisis: The Coming Nuclear Showdown with Iran. His "Six Days to War" report in Newsmax Magazine offers a scenario that represents one likely course a conflict with Iran might take, and explores:

  • Iran's arsenal, including ballistic missiles, Silkworm anti-ship missiles — and chemical weapons facilities.
  • The first target of a U.S. strike
  • How Iran would launch its counterattack
  • America's military plan, Operation Clean Slate
  • Hezbollah's response to the war's outbreak — a rain of missiles on Israel
  • America's secret war power and technology
  • The "nightmare scenario" — what if Iran already has nuclear weapons?
  • How the U.S. would use its huge air superiority
  • Retired Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney's "Big George" scenario to disarm Iran
  • The war's shocking effect on oil supplies — and oil prices
  • The repercussions in Iraq
  • How American strikes could cripple the Iranian navy
  • The U.S. commando raids that target Iran's missiles
  • U.S. bunker busters' devastating effect on Iranian nuclear sites
  • The scenario's surprising end to hostilities
  • And much more.

More: Newsmax details Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff's comments that the a nuclear terror threat on U.S. soil is real.

I think if you do some research you will find out who is the instigator of this trouble, Bush offered to sign a nuclear agreement with India, so they could use it for energy sources, this pis-ed off, Iran. Iran says if India can have nuclear access so should we. This is another war that Bush in his sneaky way has put the fuel to the fire before he makes his exit. That man needs to be impeached, for real.

We NEED another war. They're about ready to claim victory in Iraq. Got to do something, we all knew that Iraq wasn't going to last forever, in spite of McCain's 125 year prediction. Can't have a whole bunch of soldiers hanging around with no war to go to. It's not cost effective. What, spend all this money on "defense" as they call it, and have no one to invade?

As Bush would say, "bring 'em on!"

I don't believe the current president will be the one to send us into the next war. As far as the US going bankrupt, were already there other then mom and pop shops who do you think owns and operates 65% of the business in the US

Bankrupt, indeed. Several trillion dollars in the national debt, and the Federal budget deficit--a completely different set of owed money, is in the billions.

But....interest IS paid on servicing the debt. Of which you don't get much. It is one of the biggest cash outlays for taxpayers.

Real similar to mortgage interest. The cost of the loan through interest, costs more than the actual house and the land combined.

I do not want anyone to take this blog out of text is the reason for my explanation now. I posted an article from news week because I felt it is informative and you as the people of our great country needs to have access to any and all information that may be available to you. especially since we have 2 very different yet very much the same type of peole running to be the next leader of our country. One of them being Obama claim so hard to apose war and voted against supporting our troops in Iraq by voting against giving them the resourses they need to do a job as well as for survival. YET whil on his tour of the east he has been quoted as saying we will stop at nothing to ensure the stop of Irans seek for nuclear weapons. The one thing I get mad at the media for is all the coverage they think Obama deserves. Yet none of them bother to ask him the ultimate question when he made that statement as to: When you say we will stop at nothing do you mean that we will send in our troops if necessary to prevent it ??? Yet he is suppose to be so against our country being in wars and has showed that by his lack of support to give our people the means to do what they are assigned to do

American1966, you should shop in the mom and pop stores instead of going to Walmart and supporting La Raza who they sponsor and La Raza is basically made of the mex mafia, who believe it or not will run you out of your jobs and homes by destroying neighborhood safety. As far as your current president taking to another war, he already has the move he instigated with India to let them use nuclear power for energy piss-d Iran off. Iran has stated there should be a fair game out here, if we can use or develop nuclear power then nor should they. So your wonderful Bush has done it again, when are you going to start paying attention to my blogs? Bush is the instigator of too many problems in America. Under who's administration did we make it nearly mandator that labels should read in spanish and when did your companies decide that there should be a spanish option #2. Was that in effect say 8 years ago, no. Obama piss-d the middle east off by saying and getting involved with statements about the Palistine's, while on his fashion run way, and you trust this man to handle international affairs. It is in your face, wake up smell the "coffe", and that would include the "coffee" coming from Columbia, which wonderful Bush wants to pave the way for, maybe because he knows when all hel- breaks loose, president Bush has been told because he has changed so many things in America, including killing 4000+ soldiers, allowing gang activity to enter and run L.A., has made a laughing joke with his administration out of homeland security and border patrol, and has given the ball to the next

president to approve 12 mil squatters and make them legal. Used the military probably so he could cover it up to control our weather (government experiment on the American people) and bring on devastation. I think it is safe to say Bush is not on your side, rather would like to be Mexican or Columbian nationality, or so it realistically seems. Because almost everything he has done has been for and beyond for those countries. Obama stated he likes no borders and plans to change the Bush plan, in case you did not pick up on that when he was in Germany. Muslim belief is........do you know if not learn about read my blogs, it gives a good reference, and so having no borders would comply with the Muslim plan. I have blogged his family roots and connections, blood is thicker than water, what do you think his homage instict will be. The "coffe" has been brewing for about 4 years and you have seen some major and drastic changes. Sorry did not run spellcheck but you get the message I think.

Little difference between India & Iran.
Iran has a vast supply of energy to fuel all of their power needs.
India, ahh not so much.. Lots of Iron ore thats bout it. Hence Mittal growing so large so fast.

India is also a republic, just like the good ol USA.
Besides, I wonder why our gummit is wasting so much money messing with Iran. Iran can already make a nuclear bomb, the US know it too. The CIA has already said they firmly believe Kahn sold his knowledge to many buyers accross the globe.
