I could not decide.  This could belong in weather, but it seems more like News.  It is truly amazing, to me. I just saw a News Story which reveals that many people around the globe are in the throes of a dread and paralyzing mental condition the Psychobabblers are calling Ecoanxiety.

The editor of a magazine said that one of his reporters, in the process of preparing a story on “Global Warming” had called off of work, sick. Her malady, he indicated, was that she had amassed such fear for the Earth's future, in the process of her research, that she was effectively paralyzed to the point of being unable to get out of her bed.

They went on to say that the Phobia is easily and effectively treated by action, more than by Counseling. “What action?” you might ask, in hope of warding off this dread condition before it takes you over.

The action of calculating your “Carbon Footprint,” quite naturally, and buying Carbon Offsets commensurate with your impact on the global climate condition.

Ha-ha-ha. What fools these Mortals be!

And these are probably the same people who panicked over Y2K. Come on, get real. This so called Global Warming has been going on since prehistoric times. The earth changes and rejuvenates, just as it always has. It's a cycle, the earth cools and the earth warms. Get with the big picture and stop finding excuses to whine and cry.
Some people just need to get a life and stop being soooooo dramatic!!

Something with my browser (Firefox) perhaps??? But your blogs are the only ones that appear as unintelligible symbols (I think that it's wing-dings). This isn't the first one.

Any techies out there that can explain???

I give the climate change a bit more credence than you do. Those nerds we all remember from school didn't come up with this just to mess up the "cool" people. If you consider anything Humans do here as natural, than I guess it's natural. If we are making a natural process potentially more destructive (we are) than we should do something about it.
Watch for those looking to profit from the scare. That's where mortals can be fools.

That's the problem, Vit; those who are attempting to make a profit by scaring the average citizen.
We have to be responsible for what we do to the earth and what we take from it but it's also true that the earth continues to change and renew itself.
What we have to do is change our way of thinking and change the way we are living; there's always a new and better way. But there's also no point in scaring people and profitting from it.
