COMMANDMENT NUMBERED THREE OF TEN

The Commandment (#3) says:  You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain.  I will not hold him guiltless, who takes My Name in vain.

The red herring: Lotsa folks push off from the real meaning of this commandment with talk of cursing and swearing and using the word "god" in that cursing and swearing.

What I believe is actually being said is:  [Don't you dare claim to be one of My people, then make absolutely no effort to obey Me or seek My Will.  If you act like the godless heathens, I will not let you off the hook for it.]

Nevertheless, I will not compromise the tenets of Biblical Christianity. I know that many who say they are Christian do not care for or obey the teachings of Jesus.] . . . . [I believe the Constitution of the United States, including the first ten amendments (as originally written) and subsequent amendments passed by prescribed process, are the only legitimate law of this Nation UNDER GOD; that the tenets of our Constitution can be plainly understood by The Common Folk, as well as the erudite; and that those who would change those plain meanings by any craft or crook are Traitors to us all.]
