Why I am the ultimate Bucs fan tailgater!

Tailgating is simply one of my favorite pasttimes as I can always be found at the same spot since 1997 before all Buc's home games.

I also love to tailgate before R&R or Country concerts I attend. I may not have the largest tailgating site like the Brew Crews, which I used to attend before 97, but I have accumulated tons of authentic Buc's merchandise over the years and we go all out for our tailgates.

Jeff Fox the owner of the Buc's and Bull's Heaven store on North Florida Ave. in Tampa has always called me his best customer as I've been going there since he opened his doors and he's come out to my site to take photo's for his advertising.

I get a steady stream of people stopping by to take photo's of my site on Buc's Sunday's. I also get a steady stream of people who stop by thinking we're a merchandise vendor until they see us partying.

The size of my tailgate parties have fluctuated during the years as we've both lost and gained fellow tailgaters, but our core group are always there. We're always out there bright on early on Sunday mornings and I usually take all week planning the party.

I was born and raised along the beautiful redneck riviera up in the panhandle of Florida. I ran track and played basketball for Troy State Univ. in Alabama in the late 70's. I've spent the past 26 years in the Highway Engineering field and I'm currently a Production Manager for a large Global Engineering firm and a President of a very large Engineering society in the Tampa Bay area. I Love all sports and I'm a longtime season ticket holder for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Lightning. One of my biggest passions is tailgating on Sundays. I'm also an avid concert goer even at my age now as I still go to almost as many shows as I did as a young man in the 70's. I also love to tailgate before concerts and I normally always do. Music has always been a big part of my life along with Sports and just like Sports I have a very wide variety of musical tastes. I will just as soon go see a Chris Botti Jazz show as I will a Rush rock concert or a Montgomery Gentry country show. Since the Tampa Bay Amphitheatre opened up 2 years ago I've probably been to at least a dozen or more shows there as I Love the place. I also attend a lot of shows at Rut Eckerd Hall, the Tampa Theatre and the State Theatre along with the SP Times Forum, but I'm not crazy about the quality of sound there. One thing is for sure, you will always find me at the same spot every Sunday before a home Buc's game as I haven't missed a tailgate Sunday in over 8 years now.
