Kiss my assets!

I have read so many blogs where people are trying to make an intelligent choice when it comes to the Presidential candidates, some people see things much differently...  So feel free to give your feedback on this one!

Personally I have to wonder, why is it that the Presidential candidates seem to be the only candidates that we ponder over like this?  Isn't Congress just as important if not more so?  What about our House of Representatives or local county sheriff, city or town mayor?  Do you ponder over these elections for well over a year before the election? I know I don't!  And why is that?  Because those races don't get the press that the presidential race does do they?

I personally think we need to put these Congressmen, Representatives and local government candidates under the microscope just like we do the Presidential candidates.  Some of these people have more power than the President does don't they?  After all the President is only a figure head isn't he?  Let's dissect them too and make sure we get the right people elected to office!  After all what good is the team leader without team players?

Here you can tell us what is important to you...

1. List in order which topic is most important to you...

A.  Abortion

B.  Gun Control

C.  Terrorism

D.  Health Care

E.  Write in your own topic

2.  What attribute is most important in a candidate?

A.  Honesty

B.  Integrity

C.  Morals

D.  Good business man/woman

E.  Good looks

3.  Would you be more apt to vote for someone who is...

A.   Atheist

B.   Catholic

C.   Muslim

D.   Buddhist

E.   Mormon

F.   Agnostic

G.  Would not matter which religion, any of the above.

4.  Would you vote for a socialist, knowing full well that we would be on the path to becoming communist?

A.  Yes

B.  No

5.  Are there any candidates that appear to be more appealing than the others?  If so, which ones and why?

Thanks for taking a look, and thanks to those that took the time to blog.

As always thanks for the blog!

Well, like many of nortys polls, you do not give enough choices. But here goes:

1) C, B, E,(Illegals!) D, A

2) C. This also covers A&B!

3) H. None of the above. I would prefer a Christian. But NOT a preacher.

4) B. No!

5) No! It is going to be a long freaking year, and this could be our most important election in history, and could actually decide the fate of the world!
NO candidate stands out, on any party.
We are f-ing doomed! LOL!

1 (e) foreign relations,c,d,a,b
2 b
3 g an atheist or agnostic would be nice though.
4 b No, but I might if it would not lead to communism.
5 Clinton, she stayed busy while bill was in office and showed an interest in being involved in the affairs of the nation and the world. Along with her other experience as a leader, she has the attitude to get things done. There are others, but I'm pretty much locked on.

1. E (Illegals), B, D (Mind you own business), C, A

2. A, B and indelligence

3. None of the above. I wold rather a candidate who may or may not have their own faith, but was not wearing it on their sleeve. No way in hellon the muslim.

4. HELL NO!

5. UGH! Try as I might to find a candidate that I can really support, it just isn't happening. I am looking at Hunter right now since he and I seem to agree on most issues. Not crazy about him though.

See Frank? Rex's mom added in none of the above! I have no problem with that. And quite honestly Rex's mom I am having the same dilemma and Hunter is a match for me too, not sure who he is though! Keep me posted!

Interesting poll, Brenda.

1. E (Illegal immigration), B, C, A, D
The choices E,B, and C all kind of go hand-in-hand, I think. So do A and D.

2. B, C, A, D, E. Why isn't honesty first? Sometimes, to get things done for the greater good, you can't always tell the truth. This isn't a problem, though, if your integrity and honesty is intact.

3. G. But in all honesty, I don't think I, or America in general, is ready for a Muslim anytime soon. Maybe another 100 years or so, when they've (Muslims) matured some more. If ever.

4. B. Never. That's why Hillary will never get my vote. Well, that, and I just plain don't like her.

5. Yes, Duncan Hunter. I've checked his website. I've listened to some of his interviews and answers during the Republican debates. To me, he seems to be a good, solid candidate. I just can't understand why he doesn't receive more attention. Well, it's still early. If Huckabee could enjoy a sudden bump in the polls out of nowhere (whether it lasts or not), maybe Hunter can get one too.

Ugh, number 2 was supposed to read "This isn't a problem, though, if your integrity and MORALITY is intact".

I love that:

"It don't matter to me none but I ain't a votin' fer one of those kind. They'd have to be my kind or at least not that kind."

If you are going to lie, then at least lie well.

Which is it? Does not matter, or does matter???

Sorry Frank. I do some math on the results, so any entries after the math would change the results and I would have to repost the new results and all comments made would be null and we would have to start allllll over everytinme someone added new responses so I just have to cut it off somewhere.

Maybe I could post a spreadsheet that changes every time someone adds answers, and make my comments change accordingly.

i.e.
If the answer to one is more than 50% then "Yeah"
if less then "Boooooo!!!"

LOL

Duncan Hunter is out of the loop, he hasn't raised any money or support, no way is he going to win the primaries. The GOP isn't backing him. I'm actually surprised he hasn't dropped out by now.
