The Anthony case has gone way over the line. Protesting at one in the morning, assault (grabbing and pushing that was caught on video)

The question is why aren't the police doing their job?  This form of protesting is not legal.  (Florida Statute 870.02 unlawful assemblies)  If three or more persons meet together to commit a breach of the peace, or to do any other unlawful act, each of them shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

My only guess is that the police want this.  They want the pressure to stay on the Anthony's thinking this will get them to crack, talk, admit their guilt.  The problem with this tactic is that we as citizens need to protect against it.  Choosing to not uphold the law should not be an option.  These are dangerous practices which make a slippery slope.

At this point the only proof we have of guilt is on those who stand out front throwing things at the house, grabbing and pushing this grandfather to try and get him off of private property, and gathering unlawfully.

Did you see the latest in horrible mothers on the news tonight.  Orlando is putting on quite a face for the rest of the world.  What bothers me the most is that our media doesn't care that they play such a big part in causing all of this.

The woman tonight who took it upon herself to drag her children out and yell at the Anthony's came across as the lowest of the low as she was so busy yelling obscenities and telling others how they should raise their children, that she didn't even realize or care that she had slammed her own little boy's arm in her massive SUV door.  Her child was laying on the ground screaming in pain while "mommy" was just too busy to give a darn.

I'm so over these protestors.  Let the law do their job.  In fact, I wish the law would lock up the big mouths who feel they have the right to abuse others. I'm not saying the Anthony family is innocent. I'm saying it isn't my job or the job of some loud mouth horrible mother to step in and make that call.

It's amazing to me that so many people will sacrifice their own children, filling them full of hatred and even physically harming them, while they pretend to stand up for this little girl.  The truth is, they don't care about children. They are just bullies who want to get their mug on the TV and this is the only way they will ever be able to accomplish it.

Did I miss something?  Is the series over? Did they cancel it?

We used to LOVE watching this show, even after they started playing games with airing spaced out episodes.  I was sure there were more to come but I can't find any info on the show at all now.

Is LOST lost?

Is it just me?  Has anyone else noticed how horrible the judging is in this Olympics?  I'm watching sport after sport of awful judging.  Right now I'm watching boxing, a sport I know quite a bit about.  I see punch after punch land that should be scoring, yet no points going up for one boxer but the other getting anything that comes close to landing.

Maybe I should have expected this knowing where they are being held.

I just finished watching footage run on Fox 35 showing Georgia police ramming a pick up truck to arrest some punk. The guy got out of his truck, fell, and then gave up laying on the ground.  I couldn't believe it as the first cop came flying out of his car and started beating the guy in his head and back with his baton.  Next thing you know there are 11 cops all beating on this guy.  One cop, the only woman, actually came around and started kicking him in his head.

In my book there were 12 criminals in that video footage.  I can't for the life of me understand why prosecutors aren't using this footage to end the careers of these rotten excuses for public servants.  They should lose their jobs, and pensions, and face criminal charges. Think it will happen?  I don't. That rug must be getting pretty lumpy with all the stuff they sweep under it.

I had finished mowing the lawn this morning and couldn't get myself to clean the bathroom so I headed down to the prison to do a quick interview with Casey Anthony. Who knows... maybe she'd open up to me.  Here's how it went.  Let me know if you think I did a better job then the rest of the media.

Captain Jim: Hey Casey

Casey: What are you doing here Captain Jim?

Captain Jim: They sent me from the League of Justice to prob your mind.

Casey:  Whatever

(Placing his fingers on her temple)

Captain Jim: This is horrible!  I see death.

(Police cheif drops his donut and races into the room)

Cheif:  I knew it!

Captain Jim: Yes, Casey's brain is dead.  I'm not even picking up a single wave.

Casey: Whatever

Captain Jim: So Casey, You're an American girl who is hot, lies, and thinks everyone but her is stupid.

Casey: Does that make me a killer?

Captain Jim: No that makes you a normal American girl.  However the fact that you killed your daughter makes you a killer.

Casey: If you break me out of here with your super strength I'll buy you a new car.

Captain Jim: You're lying again aren't you?

Casey: How could you tell?

Captain Jim: Your lips moved.

Casey: Whatever.

On the top right corner of your screen is a You Decide 2008.  Under that is a tab that says Metro Guide.  And just below that is a button that says Close Ad.  Woo Hoo!  Am I the only one that hates that ad flashing in your face and trying to dump cookies on your PC?

See ya ad!

From another news source, "The mother of one of the suspects in the high-profile Lakeland teen beating case plans to sue the Polk County Sheriff's Office, along with her daughter, for statements agency officials have said about them."

Hold strong Chief Gary Hester. Do NOT allow this unfit mother to bully you. I gotta tell you, the real stink behind this is Lakeland attorney Michele M. Bernard. He ought to be disbarred for even taking this case.  Talk about scum. Why can't we expect lawyers to at least pretend they have a shred of class?

This woman's child kidnaps, beats, and tortures a child.  Now she wants compensation because her trash daughter suffered "severe emotional distress" and "mental anguish" over comments made by a police officer. Comments!

This is one of those times I wish I were a judge. I would say, "Step forward please young lady and bring our mother with you. You are seeking monetary damages in this case.  Instead I am awarding you 2 months in jail and 6 months community service. This does not apply to your criminal case. This is just for bringing this stupid motion into my court room.  Lock em up Dan'o."

I just finished watching an interview of Sandra Benoit.  She's related to WWF wrestler Chris Benoit.  Benoit killed his wife and son and then hung himself.  Sandra Benoit is trying to raise funds to inform highschool students about the dangers of steroids.  I 100% agree that steroids in high schools are wrong and education is needed.  However, I am always against those who lie to accomplish something.  Let me quote, "we determined the cause (death by steroids) by the examination of medical examiner and doctor's reports."  Sandra Benoit then went on to talk about mood changes (the family blames steroid rage for the death) and to bash and blame the wrestling industry. (Something tells me this family was looking for a big cash payout by WWF and when they didn't get it they are doing whatever they can to attack them.)

The truth:  Toxicology reports showed only three drugs in Benoit's system; hydrocodone, hydromorphone and Xanax.  Drugs used to treat pain and anxiety.  None of these drugs were above normal levels.

Rage? A bible was found next to the bodies.  The child was drugged before he was killed.  Sick yes, but rage???

Benoit was famous for taking massive shots directly to his head by chairs and other objects.  The head of neurosurgery at West Virginia University examined Benoits brain saying, "results showed that Benoit's brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient.  Tests revealed similar results to the study of the brains of four retired NFL players who have suffered multiple concussions, sank into depression and harmed themselves or others."

Fox you need to be careful not to help with personal vendettas.  We expect news and we expect you to do your homework.  A ten second google search or one stop at wikipedia would have shown how dishonest Sandra Benoit was being during her interview.  Let's educate children on the dangers of steroids, but we don't need to lie to them.  Have we learned nothing from the past?

Perhaps you already saw it, as a video of the car appeared on CNN. But if not, their website can be found here: http://www.aptera.com/.

For the 2 trillion that the Iraq war is projected to cost, the U.S. Government could have given over 66 million households one of these 230 mile per gallon cars, effectively eliminating our dependence on Middle Eastern oil. And that’s at full list price. With mass production on that large of scale, virtually every household could have been given one.

The more I think about it the more upset I become that we don't have anyone running for President who thinks like this!  What's worse is we've only had one or two Presidents in the entire history of our country who have had the courage, or maybe it's the brain power, to think like this.

The solution isn't beating someone into doing what's right.  The solution is becoming such an incredible country that people go, "Hey, that's what I want!  Let's be like them!"

Why am I not in charge?

What a show tonight.  School board members leaving early or not showing up.  Tons of loud students all trying to get attention.  Parents unable to act like adults and shouting out during the meeting.

I had to laugh when one exceptionally loud student who seemed to think the media was there just for him, stood up and shouted "Everyone move!" and then circled his finger above his head and pointed toward the door.  Too bad for him not a single person budged.

Way to go School Board.  You found a way to cut the budget without cutting teachers like Seminole County did.  More importantly you stood by what you felt was the right thing to do and didn't allow the loud minority to bully you into submission.  My hat's off to you!

"Florida's Smartest schools, like Jones High"  Fox reporter

"I'm so very very proud of our faculty and staff " Principal Williams

Hello???  Are you kidding me?  THEY GOT A D!  It's a move up but give me a break.  Lets celebrate that my neighbor only got 7 speeding tickets last year, or the crook that stole less money than normal.

We have got to stop pretending there isn't a giant elephant in the livingroom.  Stop giving this D school all the attention and start honoring those schools and students who deserve it.

I'm not too sure how smart it would be to drive one of these Smart Cars anyplace but your own driveway.  I see all the tests... gas, distance, comfort, size... but I'd love to see a real test like what happens to this bug size car when one of our massive SUV's plow into it.  The roads are loaded with these bus size vehicles most driven by moms who are busy fixing their hair, talking on the cell phone, or facing the wrong direction as they hand johnny the sucker he dropped.

I care less about gas mileage than I do my life.  You wouldn't catch me dead in one of these things.

I've always turned the news on at 6:00 sharp.  It used to be I would only wait briefly until I would hear about the morning blog being featured that morning.  The second it was mentioned I would see it on the board waiting for my fingers to answer, as my mind wasn't awake yet.

Now, you don't hear about the blog until almost 6:30, and then the blog isn't ready until much much later as if it's an after thought.  To top it off they often don't read anything from the bloggers who have given their views. There are even times when they don't bother to return to the story let alone read the replies.

And what's with the lazy Friday blog every single Friday?  The exact same thing every single week.

Come on guys... we had something good going on here.  Mention the story early, have the blog on the board before you run the story, and follow up on it.

The New York Post's Page Six is reporting that O.J. Simpson could possibly join Donald Trump's next Celebrity Apprentice.

I gotta tell ya that I really enjoy watching Celebrity Apprentice.  I don't know why.  Maybe it's because seeing these celebs in person without scripts proves what I've always suspected... 99% of them are idiots.

Even though I enjoy the show I would instantly cross it off my viewing list forever if they brought O.J. into the mix.  I wouldn't simply tune out that season. I'd be done with it for good.  To me O.J. Simpson represents a massive majority of what is wrong with our country be it reverse discrimination, sleazy lawyers, stupid juries, inept courts, manipulative media, liberal bias, and even divorce.

At some point one has to yell "ENOUGH!"
