Looks like the checks are at least stimulating something.

“Late-night comedians had a great time predicting what Americans might do with their economic "stimulus" checks. Turns out they might not have been too far off track. According to a study by the Adult Internet Market Research Co., the adult Web site business saw a significant rise in membership starting shortly after the first checks went out in mid May. The tax rebate checks were cited by 20-30 percent of the new customers of almost 5,000 sites as the reason they decided to take the plunge.”

“An independent market-research firm, AIMRCo (Adult Internet Market Research Company), has discovered that many websites focused on adult or erotic material have experienced an upswing in sales in the recent weeks since checks have appeared in millions of Americans' mailboxes across the country.

According to Kirk Mishkin, Head Research Consultant for AIMRCo, "Many of the sites we surveyed have reported 20-30% growth in membership rates since mid-May when the checks were first sent out, and typically the summer is a slow period for this market."

Jillian Fox, spokeswoman for LSGmodels.com, one of the sites reporting figures to AIMRCo, added, "In a June 15, 2008 survey to our members, thirty two percent of respondents referenced the recent stimulus package as part of their decision to either become a new member, or renew an existing membership."“

So all those highly moral people who were so upset with a Clinton BJ should be OK with this because there is money involved? Damn, then Clinton's mistake was not paying for it so it would have helped the economy.

BTW, money going into a business also pays for things like inventory, advertising, etc..
Does your family know that you approve of the expansion of the porn industry?

This claim of "Mission Accomplished" is as much BS as the banner was.

For one being the President and cheating on your wife in the Whitehouse does not show the rest of the world very good morals, money has nothing to do with it.What you do in your home is no ones business.

I believe in free enterprise which is the American way.You are free to make money in any capacity you can as long as you hurt no one financially or physicaly. And yes my family knows that I personaly have tried to expand the porn industry through purchases, sorry you keep yours in the closet.

"Mission Accomplished" was just for fun !!!

So we agree there is a BIG difference between being president of the USA and married with the whole world watching your sexual escapades than some guy behind his computer playing stretch armstrong. The point of the stimulus check was to put it back in the US economy who cares how.If the website was US based then it served the purpose and the money stayed here. These ppl could have just as easily spent the money on electronics or some other lead tainted product from China, that is all I was trying to say.

What I agree with is "What you do in your home is no ones business"

Obviously Clinton is a sumbag as a husband. But what he did in his home, at the time, as far as a BJ is concerned, was no ones business but the parties involved including Hillary. Why she treated it as she did is her business, it didn't concern me.

If not for the dress, who knows whether it would have ever come out. And without the witch hunt costing taxpayers money, the world wouldn't have been watching.

Do you really think no other sitting Presidents ever committed adultery? Maybe even Bush climbs under his desk for something more than a sick joke about finding WMD's there while our soldiers were being murdered.

Personally, I have no problem with people spending their money on whatever they want, as long as it causes no one else harm. I'm just surprised there hasn't been anything said about this & blaming the morality of the American people on something or someone.

That is because it never made "National News" I would have never known about it until you posted it and it looks like your source was Yahoo.Do not know many ppl that get their news from Yahoo. Most of Clintons sexual activities were in the White House, that is not his home and never was it belongs to the people, his home is in Arkansas. From testimony that was given he would perform sexual acts just be fore meeting with dignitaries, they didn't call him "Slick Willie" for nothing.

The article was also in the St Pete Times & I believe some other newspapers.

The WhiteHouse may belong to the people, but it is the President's home while in office.

As far as what Clinton did before meetings, I don't think I ever heard anything like that. But since to me it's totally immaterial, who knows, because it certainly isn't worth remembering. Someone could start a rumor that Bush gets it on with Cheney before every meeting too. This type chatter is totally worthless, no matter which side of the aisle spreads the BS.

I put mine back into the American economy-
Florida Power, City of NPR Water, Bright House, the Mortgage company, Geico insurence and Home Depot. No big Tvs or electronics for us, and as for porn... LOL..... I heard on the radio today that there was in increase on women willing to dance, but a decrease in pwoplw willing to pay to see them dance. Go figure.

How sad it is when people hide behind the delete button. If someone is rude, obnoxious, or obscene, why not let the world see this? The truth is the delete button is used by some when they disagree or want to hide the facts that shoot down their beliefs. But worse is the chickens that don't allow any comments on their threads.
