Everytime I see the video my blood boils. Have you seen it? A deputy at the Orient Road jail dumps a man, who is a quadrapeligic, out of his wheelchair on to the floor. Its cruel and inhumane. Then to add to the crime, the other deputies who saw it, did nothing. No one moved a muscle. There was no outrage, no compassion for the man. One blogger suggests it was a racist act. The deputies are black. The quadrapeligic man is white. I wonder if that blogger is right?  Perhaps its a hate crime too. Its a legitimate question. I'd charge the deputy with that too along with stupidity, ruthlessness, lack of compassion and  professionalism, gross negligence and anything else that fits the crime.

Gee is in Jacksonville at a Florida Sheriff's Association meeting, leaving Chief Deputy Jose Docobo in command. TBO.com

After watching the tape Monday, Docobo ordered Marshall-Jones to be immediately suspended without pay, he said. Three of her supervisors who were visible on the tape also were suspended with pay. TBO.com

"That none of the supervisors acted upon what they saw is of great concern," Docobo said. "This is not the norm at the sheriff's office. It's an aberration." TBO.com

Chief Deputy Jose Docobo Wake up and come to reality the fact that no supervisors saw anything to interfere with indicates that the man's treatment was not unusual to them. You need to get out of your office and on to the "floor" more and train the few uniformed thugs you have working there in the proper way to perform thier duties toward United States Citizens or fire them pure and simple.

Want more incidents like this?..........Just white wash this incident. If ANY non law enforcement Citizen treated a wheelchair patient like that we would be facing Felony assault Charges your deputy and the integrity of your Department deserve nothing less.

In responce to the blogger that called for playing the race card, I had this to say.

Did anyone see the white people in that video too? Especially the one that laughed! I think there is enough blame here to cancel out the race card. What ever happend to the plane old "Justice Card"?

This officer needs to be fired and prosecuted as well as all involved.They cant treat people that way.This is a total disgrace, and as far as race goes if tables were turned the likes of Al Sharpton etc....would be here in Tampa Bay demanding Justice Be Served!everyone need to voice their thoughts on this matter and remember this is another human being!

AMEN Denise!! They should be prosecuted for negligence and a hate crime. They need to spend a few years of their life behind bars. That was totally disgusting!

Thank you, Denise, for this compassionate response to one of the most idiotic and brutal things I have ever seen on the news. This truly is police brutality at its worst and most disgusting. "Deputy Devil," to use another blogger's nickname for that deputy, deserves to lose her job, and her freedom as well. The fat pig who laughed into the camera is no bettter than she is. What sorry excuses for human being are employed at that jail! Or maybe they are all pigs.

they should all be tied into wheelchairs, put out in front of the public, and let the public tip them over, over and over again, then put them in a jail cell, tied to their wheelchair for a few years, just to give them a taste of what the poor guy has to go through for his entire life. hopefully karma will play a part and give them what they deserve as well. Jacktrade, pigs are too cute and kind, these jerks are maggots, pond scum to say the least.

Once the Federal boys get involved it will get better as the Detention Deputy rolls over on her brotherhood. Its the only way she is going to survive. This has been going on for quite some time for her to do it a second time...OBD

Also don't forget the 22 year pension at stake she is trying to wheel and deal...Why wouldn't she turn herself in. I say she is going to rat everybody out...IMO

she should lose her pension, she's a criminal, and thank God for surveillance cameras, otherwise she may have been given a chance to use the race card on her behalf when the guy in the wheelchair had complained.
