    The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld lethal injection. Florida is one of three states that uses this form of deadly punishment. Now that the moratorium is over executions will resume. 

   There are 388 prisoners on death row. Governor Crist has asked for a list to see who among the worst in this lot should die first.  Mark Dean Schwab, who raped and murdered an 11 year old boy in Florida, was supposed to die last November.

   Justice delayed is justice denied.

   Perhaps Mr. Schwab, who had no mercy for Junny Rios-Martinez, should go first.

Taxpayers have already paid more than necessary for their room & board.

The prisoners on death row whose cases are a slam dunk no doubt conviction, should just be lined up one after the other.

I think we should follow China's lead. Have a speedy trial walk them out to courtroom steps and put two in the back of there head.

We must make an example of the worst of the worst and get rid of them as soon as their convicted.
The slime on death row are there because they committed unspeakable acts upon their victims, showing no mercy to those whose lives they took. Why should we show them mercy by allowing them to live one minute longer than necessary when their victims' innocent lives were destroyed?

William Cruse has been there longer and his crimes were horrid too! He killed two cops and a hand full of civilians as well, he shot up two local shopping centers and terrorized the entire community for hours! I believe the families of those victims are still waiting for justice to be served in that case!

I think it is time for Junny's parents to see justice served so they can close this chapter in their lives. Personally I think they need to bring back "Old Sparky" just for this dirtbag!!! In all honesty there aren't any of them on death row that don't deserve "Old Sparky" either!

It's about time is all I can say!!!

Bullets are cheap! Rope is cheaper - Hemp rope is environmentally sound too. Put our farmers back to work for the good of us all. ;)

Yes I say Mark Dean Schwab should go first... He should have been gone! Now who should be next? My first thought is child rapist and murderers, especially the ones that take children from their beds while they sleep. But think about the ones that have been on death row for years. Norman Parker has been on death row for 27 years...
What's up with that? That to me is cruel not the pain the needle is going to cause. I think it is time to cut some of the states cost..

Hey, it took them more than ten years to give Danny Rolling his "cocktail". If ever there was a more deserving animal than that monster. Google "Rolling Gainesville Murder" sometime and read what he did to those college students in 1990.

It is ludicrous that it takes our system so long to serve justice.

I say they should daisy-chain these inmates together with IV's and give them one huge injection! Save a little money and execute about 10 at a time! televising it would be nice too! Let people see what happens when you commit these type of capital offences!

Yes, Floydfreak I agree the state should have never taken that long with Danny Rolling. He was an animal... And the only reason it took only ten years is because he wanted to be executed. If he would have ran all his appeals out who knows he might still be alive. Our system needs to be fixed. With John Couey he will most likely be the type of scum it takes years to get rid of. He will use up all his appeals. Just like Willie Crane "Amanda Brown's" killer he took a sleeping seven year old child from the safety of her bed to rape, beat and murder her. He is on death row now for ten years. I would really like to see him gone. I'll be saying the same thing in ten years about Couey.
