     Historically black Morehouse College in Atlanta is graduating its first white valedictorian.  22 year old Joshua Packwood from Kansas City, Missouri will address his classmates this month as the first scholar in the 141-year history of a school dedicated to educating black men. 

     Packwood could have gone to an Ivy League College, but he chose Morehouse and Morehouse chose him. He's graduating with a 4.0 in economics and will join the prestigious banking firm Goldman Sachs in New York City. 

    The racial divide doesn't feel quite as wide today. Perhaps, as Barack Obama is fond of saying, we can be one America.

Oh yeah I can't wait for Obama bin loudman's racist arse to unite this country into his "one America" Wow an all black school graduating it's first white valedictorian...????? What year is this???? ABOUT TIME!!!!! Don't ya think! Why is there still a school dedicated to educating "black" men? How many decades ago where the whites FORCED to allow blacks into all white schools? I hate to tell you Denise but Obama is far from what America needs in the "becoming one" process! Don't get me wrong Denise I like your work and respect your right to have an opinion but... Sometimes I wonder when the black community is going to take off its blinders and realize who the real racist really are. I'm sorry if I offend but when does the madness end????

Indeed, Denise, I'm with dangela. I do not believe that I will EVER be able to get past B.O.'s affiliation with Jeremiah Wright. To say nothing of the fact that Obama espouses socialistic ideals. AND he wants to play in the sandbox with Iran's Iminneedofjihad. Sorry - sitting down with terrorists is NOT the way to deal with them.

But the Wright issue is NOT about conservatism versus liberalism. It's about "America - Love It or Leave It"!

We wont have one America until people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton stop exploting black people and making racial issues out things that are not racial! Sadly, I toss Obama, his wife and Rev Wright into that corral too! Obama is blowing smoke in our ear and saying I love you while he's getting ready to pick out pockets!

About the guy from Morehouse, big deal. If we make a big deal of this, what would it accomplish? Nothing! There shouldn't be schoold for all black, all white, or all one gender!

This is America! Jump into the melting pot or take your stinky cheese somewhere else!
