Are these misconceptions or myths:

#1. Fill your tank in the morning
#2. Change your air filter
#3. Use premium fuel
#4. Pump up your tires
#5. To A/C or not to A/C
#6. Bolt-ons and pour-ins

Check out the below article for myths or misconceptions

I forgot your website... was going to email you there. On my Vista Premium PC not my laptop that has XP2 on it, I sometimes get that "red x" in place of pictures... like at www.imdb.com for example. I have tried everything... how do I cure that. It happens not all the time. Like it shows your photo in this post but then the x in the post for some photos here. Any help? if too long email me.. truthguys@gmail.com

THanks so much.

Hey if I want to buy one of your books, do I have to go through FOX to do it? Do they have a link?

Not a bad article but #2 fails to point out that when the power level in your engine drops do to a clogged air filter the car spends more time in a lower gear getting up to speed and the “nut behind the wheel” automatically responds to the lower power level by pushing harder on the gas peddle ...this does waste more gas. LOL
As far as #6 the exception to this “myth” would be if/when your fuel injectors are clogged this will drop your millage fast ! And pour in additives can help unclog the injectors (some!) all tho it is not as good as having them actually cleaned it is a fast/cheap way to restore some of your MPG.

You'd think after all the virus hoaxes people would be less likely to believe a fwd of a fwd of a fwd of a fwd of a fwd a fwd of a fwd of a fwd of a fwd of a fwd a fwd of a fwd of a fwd of a fwd of a fwd a fwd of a fwd of a fwd of a fwd of a fwd Emails.

Guess not... The simple solution is to verify anything yourselves via google or symatec.

Read your profile, I dunno if your actually getting down to myths or seeing if people are still likely to believe anything thats emailed to them. I don't get any of these anymore, because I started being a jerk in my replies and calling people out via reply all :) .. A good one for me was that baby seal hunt one even though it's been banned for over two decades before the email came around. unfortunately people like my mother-in-law that keep sending these types of emails out need to be humiliated before they start looking BLEEP up on their own rather than believing an email.

To answer your question about number 1. No ground temperature stays fairly constant below a few feet.

Filling in the morning: Hogwash.. If it even ment anything it just means you have the ability to purchase more by volume.

Air Filter?: Well then the fuel and oil filters too! And don't forget the transmission too.. But one jack rabbit start, and you blew it.

Premium fuel: Its an Octane issue. Higher Octane burns cooler and designed for high compression. Regular gas in a regular engine.

Pump up your tires! Sure! Now that you have crippled your handling, and added as much as 25% of your breaking distance... Is the extra half gallon really worth your families life?

AC and the compressor hardly make any difference at all.

Bolt-ons and Pour-ins.. OK are you trying to save fuel or save money here...

Just work 9 or 10 hour days, and stop commuting to work 10 to 20%!! THERE is some immediate savings!

Yeah driving with your windows down has been proven to make you use more gas than running with the ac on....
