The Way I See It...

To the moderator(s): This is not inflammatory - it is FACT:

We have basically three different types of bloggers:

(1) We have those on the left (misguided though they may be) that are able to offer meaningful discourse with whom everyone can either agree or agree to disagree. It is actually intellectually stimulating to blog with these individuals (all three of them). They are respectful and intelligent.

(2) We have those on the right who are always right and are respectful of others' opinions even if we do know that they're off-base. These highly intelligent individuals do NOT resort to personal insults unless such barbs are hurled at them first.

(3) Then there are those on the left that, in addition to being off-base, cannot support their point of view with logic. These intellectually-challenged individuals, when backed into a corner, result to silly, childish name-calling and downright revolting (by anyone's standards) innuendo. There are two or three individuals (and countless screen names being used by these individuals) that seem to take great pride in this. The more that they press forward with their feeble attempts at credibility, the sillier they make themselves appear.

Numbers 1 and 2 make this place a good time. Number 3 ruins the fun for everyone.

Funny girl. And I was even counting you as one of the three "good ones" in #1. I reckon that that's what I get for being civil. You'd better be careful or I'll call you a ***** or I'll make denigrating remarks about Mr. Moonie. (KIDDING, Chris!)

To answer your question: Notice if you will that I referred to #2 in the first person with the pronoun "we".

Pro, where've ya been? You've missed out on all the fun.

Please note in my original post that line number 2 of paragraph 3 (prior to "...to silly childish name-calling"), the word should be "RESORT", not "result".

There are a lot of intelligent bloggers in both the #1 catagory and in #2 and alot in each that provide both interesting and humorous current topics. These are always enjoyable, fun and stimulate the mind. There are also a lot of great personalities and good people who are doing their best to get along and state their point of view.

However it's the less than intelligent folk in #3 (and I am being kind because I don't want to be "moderated out" as a name caller) who make it look bad for everyone and put everyone under scrutiny. Floyd is right, they don't know the topic and look silly with their comments. They also talk just to hear themselves talk and for some reason think this is humorous. What it is is boring and insulting. They insult our intelligence by thinking that we are interested in their silliness but all like look is not only silly but stupid.

I am your normal, middle-class, "working Joe". But I am also a capitalist and believe that nothing good comes from socialistic entitlement programs. I believe in hunting down and killing terrorists like the little rats that they are (except that that statement is denigrating to rats). I grew up in a very conservative household and was fortunate enough to have had a conservative American Government teacher (a retired US Army colonel) who helped to show me the "right" way. Are there things that I would like to change? Absolutely. But NOT the kind of "change" being espoused by Hillarock Obaminton. I have lived in Florida for forty of my forty-eight years. I've been a big Pink Floyd fan since my teen years hence the moniker, FloydFreak. My friends call me Freak, Floyd, and FF. The libs call me a neocon. I wear that badge proudly. Please note that I enjoy engaging in spirited discussion - even with those with whom I disagree. There are a number of individuals on these boards whom I respect even if I DO think that they're out of touch with reality. Please note also that I do not tolerate personal attacks on my character. If you think that I'm full of BLEEP, you have the right to say so. But drag my character into the gutter and expect retaliation in kind with FloydFreak's own brand of sarcasm. Keep it civil and we'll get along fine. To those of you that see good in America and want the OPPORTUNITY for prosperity for all - and do not just seek to soak it to "the rich", I say God bless you.
