Here are some more classic examples of the ways that the libs and PC crowd are making inroads into our daily lives.

I just went to purchase airline tickets for an upcoming business trip to the west coast (I'm not going to tell you when or where I'm going because there are sick perverts out there that may know where I live that might try something with my home and family, etc., etc.).

Booking the tickets on cheaptickets.com, after you select your flights, you are presented with options for such things as airport parking, ground transportation, attractions at your destination, etc. One of the options that you can select is a carbon offset donation to carbonfund.com. This "donation" is $5.50 for a domestic flight and $11.00 for an international. Are there REALLY people out there that are STUPID enough to fall for this bullBLEEP??? I clicked on the "learn more" link and carbonfund.org's motto is "Reduce what you can; offset what you can't." I wanted to puke! I'd rather donate $5.50 to Hillary Clinton's campaign. If you want to give money away, why not give it to the Humane Society, MDA, or some other worthwhile charity, for Christ's sake?

THEN - and this is classic - when you go to select your travel preferences (window vs. aisle seat, etc.), you can select meal type. You can choose from low fat, low cholesterol, low sodium, or vegetarian. Another option is Kosher which I don't have a particular problem with (I actually selected that because I've heard that the quality is better. Hey, Hebrew National is great stuff). Anyway, one of the very last selections for meal type is...are you ready for this???...

M-U-S-L-I-M ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Yes, boys and girls, you too can select a Muslim meal for your upcoming air travel. Are you BLEEPing kidding me? What is it? A hermetically sealed container of sand or fricasseed camel? Keep in mind that there were no options for Chinese, Mexican, Bhuddist, Catholic, Hare Krishna, nor any other ethnic/religious options. But MUSLIM!

WHAT is this world coming to? It's GOT to be George Bush's fault, right???

Kosher is OK but Muslim is not?

Why give yourself a wedgie over giving members of the largest religious group in the world a choice?

Why would such a thing bother someone?

And the sand and camel quip is an example of why hatred and distrust flourishes in the world. It's a really cheap shot and is beneath what you are capable of.

Perhaps the recent trolling still has your feathers in a twist? Relax! It's ok.

You're not doing anything here to improve your position by complaining about airline food choices and making racist remarks.

Oh, that's right. Thanks, guys. I guess that I should apologize for my racist remarks. I forgot that this is the religion of peace.

That apology out of the way, WHERE is the choice for Catholic meal (no meat on Friday), Hindu, Confucianism, and any of the eight bazillion other religions? Why is Muslim the only ethnic menu choice besides Kosher? At least the Jews never flew airliners into skyscrapers - not that I've heard, anyway.

I guess I am racist because I find it repugnant.

It is possible to be repulsed and not make comments denegrating the 900 million Muslims who are not terrorists.


BTW, most Catholics have been eating meat for the last 30 years on Friday. It was never part of a formal creed but something the Sisters (and your mother) told you to do.

I think it changed as part of Vatican II.

Your point does have some validity and would have been a good post, not for the "sand" part.

Yes. Many are renowned scientists.

Muslim (Hallal) and Kosher are close in cleanliness and safety.

Islam IS a religion of peace. I humbly ask that you read the Koran and stop listening to those who pervert it. Kinda like thinking Christianity isn't a peaceful religion because of the Spanish Inquisition, enslavement of Native Americans, Crusades,.... Oh. Sorry.

Allow me to remind you that it was not Christian nations, nor was it Israelis that were whooping it up on the evening of 9/11/01.

It was those that follow the "religion of peace". Oh, that's right - it was Bush's fault.

You're entitled to your opinion, Vitt. I still want to puke my Muslim meal. Perhaps that's what I should have done when I booked my flight - order the Muslim meal then BARF it into my airsickness bag.

And, furthermore, Vitt...I did not post this to debate global warming as a "science" (or a religion, which it is if you ask me). Although I believe that the whole notion of man being responsible for what climate change there may be is preposterous.

That being said, it is this insane notion that one can buy oneself carbon "indulgences" that drives me BLEEPing nuts. Don't worry - use as much fossil fuel as you wish. Just make your donation to carbonfund.org and all will be forgiven.

I agree with you more often than not but even I found some of your comments a bit harsh. I dont condem all muslims for the actions of a few. I will never make blanket statements about all muslims just as I would not make blanket statements about other religions.

I have no problem with an airline offering a meal choice if enough people want that choice and it doesn't cost me anything! I'm sure that if enough people requested a "Hindu Happy Meal", the airlines would offer it.

I'm more worried about people falling for the carbon credit scam than a person eating goat's eyeballs.

I am your normal, middle-class, "working Joe". But I am also a capitalist and believe that nothing good comes from socialistic entitlement programs. I believe in hunting down and killing terrorists like the little rats that they are (except that that statement is denigrating to rats).
