King Obama, fresh from his coronation, made some remarks to a gathering of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. An excerpt follows,

"I want you to know that today I’ll be speaking from my heart, and as a true friend of Israel."

If the folks at AIPAC fall for his slick tongue, well, they will have made their bed. They need to keep in mind that this is from a person that has at least "associations", if you will, with persons that look up to and revere the illustrious Louis Farrakhan.

If the Jewish community fails to see through Obama, we're all BLEEPed.

I have never seen anyone try to swim down the center of the rapids before.

As they say in parts I hail from:

"Geeeeeeeeeeeeee-MOE-netti!"

AIPAC? Don't they have some kind of spything going on? Wasn't FOX going to do a story on them awhile back?

I've read about it somewhere. The trial keeps getting bumped.

Why should Jewish-Americans worry about Barack any more than any other type of American? He's an approved candidate.

Besides, it isn't Anti-Semitic to criticise the policies of the Nation of Israel. She, like all nations, have their faults. That's why we all strive to be better. Or we should.

Israel has their own nukes. What are we worried about? I'd think they could certainly defend themselves quite nicely. They don't need us to do it for them. Besides, we give them money for defense.

I imagine any President should try to be a friend to all nations. Until friendship is proven impossible.

Well from the looks at the comments at the Haaretz they are pretty much laughing..to the extent one commentor asked "is he doing stand-up comedy now?" and others are calling him Obama Ben Kenobi, or the OxyObama and his snake oil speech....naw, I don't think they are taking him very seriously...nor are they taking Condi Rice or Bush very serious now.

WADR? What A Dumb Response??? Hey, I did say until friendship is proven impossible.

obtw, here's a link to the Houston Chronicle saying that Michelle Obama's ''coming "Whitey" scandal' is a hoax.

If it's a hoax, imagine that. Standard GOP tactics.

Agreed, Vitt. Sadly enough, that's why McCain is the ONLY choice.

MO don't be quick to think this was a GOP ploy. It could very well be. But this guy Larry Johnson who started all of this was a real left wing guy and posted all the time over on the HUFF. Then he turned on Obama. So I wouldn't put it past Hillary to be behind this rumor or her campaign staff. Who knows?

True. It could be the Clinton camp putting out garbage (if it is indeed garbage). I'm just used to TurdBlossom doing his job ;)

The stakes are high in this election. I wouldn't put anything past either party to save their own butts.

hehehehehe..... we're gonna need short pants to sort through the coming muck bombardments! Both sides of the aisle.

Whee for us.

I am your normal, middle-class, "working Joe". But I am also a capitalist and believe that nothing good comes from socialistic entitlement programs. I believe in hunting down and killing terrorists like the little rats that they are (except that that statement is denigrating to rats). I grew up in a very conservative household and was fortunate enough to have had a conservative American Government teacher (a retired US Army colonel) who helped to show me the "right" way. Are there things that I would like to change? Absolutely. But NOT the kind of "change" being espoused by Hillarock Obaminton. I have lived in Florida for forty of my forty-eight years. I've been a big Pink Floyd fan since my teen years hence the moniker, FloydFreak. My friends call me Freak, Floyd, and FF. The libs call me a neocon. I wear that badge proudly. Please note that I enjoy engaging in spirited discussion - even with those with whom I disagree. There are a number of individuals on these boards whom I respect even if I DO think that they're out of touch with reality. Please note also that I do not tolerate personal attacks on my character. If you think that I'm full of BLEEP, you have the right to say so. But drag my character into the gutter and expect retaliation in kind with FloydFreak's own brand of sarcasm. Keep it civil and we'll get along fine. To those of you that see good in America and want the OPPORTUNITY for prosperity for all - and do not just seek to soak it to "the rich", I say God bless you. And God bless America!
