When people use that phrase they're usually kidding. Not Reverend Bob Larson. He calls himself "The Real Exorcist" a man with the power to cast out Demons. For the last 30 years, Larson has traveled the world claiming to deliver people from evil. Just recently, he came to Pasadena where he exorcised a number of people. (Check out the pictures)

Larson claims that most people who cheat, lie and murder have demon spirits inside them. When he told me that, Richard Ramirez immediately came to mind. Remember him? The Night Stalker who terrorized Los Angeles in 1984 and 1985. His eyes certainly look scary...nothing but evil.

But really, blaming every bad action on the devil? What about personal responsibility? And..... is this guy for real or just a con artist?

Whether or not you believe in Larson or his exorcisms,

one thing's for sure, his sessions are definitely NOT BORING!

You can check it out for yourself on Monday at 10pm.

On a side note, when we came back from the shoot and tried to ingest the video into our avid system, the clips came out to a total number of 666 and then the system crashed. Our system often crashes, so that's not so weird...but the number 666??That's WEIRD!

So, do you guys believe in demon possessions?

i remember as a kid watching Ernest angley another faith healer con artist ..man that show was so funny i told all my friends and we would all watch for the laughs ..faith healers and exorcists are all a bunch of con men and woman who prey on the superstitious they take normal organized religion witch is as about as believable as these people and turn it up a notch and suck in ignorant people..like Tom Cruise in scientology who with all his fine work the space ship should be by to pick him up soon....sorry Tom... the devil made me say that!

I totally agree Gina, I think its about time people stop blaming things on the devil and god and take responsibility for their actions. I get so sick of these people. Why is it that people don't find it in there best interest to better themselves as human beings so that they can make good decisions. Sure we're all products of society, but there has to come a point in our lives where we tell ourselves that we need to inform ourselves and evolve continually in order to be the best possible person we can be.

I personally don't believe or trust 99% of those men that claim to "heal" or "drive out evil". These people ether believe this mess or know full well that what they're doing is BS and do it for self gain.

i don't believe him, nor the chruch next door to me that they seem to do the same thing. i think it's just some odd cult thing. i do believe in spirits. i think i had a inncedent where i woke up one night saw something floating above me. didnt know what it was. just looked like a shadow. then it decended into me, and i couldnt move, or speak. i didnt know what was going on, then i tired to fight it, and eventually i was able to break free. i so freaked out. didnt know what it was. then a few months later, it was a hot summer night, and i was sleeping. then i woke up and i felt something on the bed. like somebody climbed in. then i turn to look and it was no one. then the bed started shaking. i thought it was a earth quake, until i relized it was just the bed shaking, and not anything else, and i ran out of their fast. screw that. so i do believe in spirits.

Hey Gina, take a look at all the photos in the real haunted park at this url http://www.sebar.com/haunted and also its sister site http://www.sebar.com/hart read through them. Those are original photos. I believe that we have a lot to learn on Earth and have frankly come across many things that cannot easily be explained away. Look at the real photos. Bear in mind also that natural purple light is scientifically proven to be out of the frequency of human vision. It might be possible for animals though, to see natural purple light. Wikipedia has more on the explanation on this.

Oh PS Gina these are the only forums in the golden state across the entire state dedicated to exploring Paranormal investigations. I have helped galvanize many folks across state to explore this at the Valley Haunts http://www.valleyhaunts.net the only forums that cover Paranormal and Manimal activities across California. Lots happening there 12 months a year not just Halloween!

Supersition. Superstition. Superstition. Got several innocent people put to death in Salem. Anyone read your history?

See what happens when Godless people run wild and do not even read but assume they know and understand.

There are demons out there; wake up!, where this man leaves the path to righteousness is his need for MAN's riches!

Now I realize most if not all Americans do not even believe that Jesus Christ performed miracles!

Go ahead; continue in your major denial! Say we have not killed off our environment to the point that only animals will be around in two hundred years from now?

Yes this man can do what he claims; only now he has corrupted his works!

Now if he was not money motivated and did this in the name of Christ or even offered the grace back to Yahweh at least; nope!

So this person is a fake; not that what he claims is not any form of reality for it sure is a real component of our World...

And to reply to "NoAngel" and the Salem comment; friend that was not Superstition! That was American Greed, major Power and control trip, as well as, the government fleecing the people out of their homes and belongs.

Did anyone that claims to know or read their history follow the money?

Do not think so!

I will not judge whether Bob Larson is a fake or not, but I will say this: demons are for real! I have had to deals with them myself, and believe me, it's not something I would wish on anyone, and Bob Larson is right about that! I used to volunteer for a well known ministry as a counselor, and I did deal with someone who was possessed. The things that Bob Larson described happened to this one woman I dealt with, and believe me, it was not the least bit funny either. I'm not going to reveal what ministry I volunteered for, because it would not be fair to them, and because I vowed confidentiality with them. And Bob Larson is not bluffing when he says that some people have to come back for more deliverances; I've seen similar circumstances myself.

There is one thing that does concern me though: asking for money upfront. I can see where others would think of him as a con man because of this; but I'll say don't throw out the baby with the bath water!

Thank you all for responding.

Today, I don't know how many times Chris, a Fox 11 promo producer has told me to:
"GO TO TORMENT!" If you saw the story, you know exactly what he's talking about.
But puting all kidding aside, I know A LOT of people do believe in exorcisms and demon possessions. I don't discount that.

Samo, you talked about scary spirits.
I remember as a teenager, hearing stories about a gorgeous woman who was hitchhiking along a road in Texas. Two guys picked her up hoping to get lucky.
She got into the car, sat in the back and all three had a funny and entertaining exchange. Then suddenly she stopped anwering questions. When the guys looked back, she was gone.
Let me tell you, every time I drove by that specific road at night, I would often speed by hoping to never come across that gorgeous woman. I KNOW silly.

Sebar, your picture makes me wanna have a donut! It looks yummy. :-)

Thanks Gina, Mama's Donuts in Lake Balboa District, Balboa and Sherman Way. Actually it was a favorite hangout for news chopper reporter Jennifer York and also KTLA 5 people too for a long time. Rick evidently or someone got several boxes and many locals congregate there as well from all over the area.

I was surprised you did not comment on my linked sites here on the ghostly photos I snapped. I have spent several years researching these and the sites and still no explanation for the PPE "Purple Plasma Entity" at Sycamore Park in Simi Valley, or the PPE at the Historical Hart Mansion in Saugus.

For anyone who is thinking about messing with the occult, I have one thing to say about it: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!! It may look innocent at first, but it becomes sinister before you realize it. When I dealt with that one woman who became possessed, she had been asking for help, and she was terrified seconds before the demons took over her body. If you saw the report Gina did, or have ever seen Bob Larson's programs, I dealt with those things first hand, and it was very ugly and unpleasant. Even though I am not mentioning what ministry I volunteered for, I can tell you that it was not Bob Larson's ministry.

Superstition is an ugly thing. Instead of accepting that people do bad things they want to justify bad behavior by saying "a demon made me do it." C'mon now, anyone with half a brain should see through the schtick. And the comment regarding Salem, well hell yeah it was over money but they blamed it on the devil. Same thing here. People who aren't very bright believe in demons and possessions instead of rationality and logic. Most people who believe in that sort of thing are ill-educated and poor. They never had a chance to learn any better.

Well the PPE entity at Elephant Rock in Sycamore Park Simi Valley is quite real indeed. It consists of natural purple light which is just outside of the human vision frequency range but can be snapshot by a digital camera lens. It also for a natural light source displays physical properties of a solid object and can shift position intelligently. BTW, has never been hostile to me, in fact a rather tranquil setting and quite peaceful. I think that there are things we need to learn of and that scientific research must go forward.

hmm, sounds like a story gina should get to the bottom on. find out what this ghost wants. i mean, i dont think gina is gonna get hurt, seems like she was pretty cool with the guys that gave her a ride. maybe it's a ghost stuck in a certain area, and once you drive beyond it's range, she will disappear. kinda like the headless horsemen that isn't able to cross over bodies of water. hey gina just wondering, why hasn't anyone covered a story on why they sell hot dog buns in packs of 10, but the hot dogs are only sold in packs of 8? why do they do that? do they really think we are gonna by 5 packs of hot dogs and 5 packs of buns to even it up?

Some things are not superstition No Angel. I'll put one foot forward and say this: If Satan is for real, he will not expose himself to anyone he considers a person who will not believe in Jesus Christ or God...it is a waste of time for him to have anyone who doesn't believe in the supernatural to believe he really exists; he has other plans. He will only attack those who either believe in God or those who mess with the occult, but are prone to believing in God after they get bored with the occult. Most of the folks at Bob Larson's deliverances have either messed with the occult or have been attacked by someone who messed around with the occult. And like I said, I've personally dealt with a few folks who had something sinister happen to them, and it's something I would rather have not dealt with, but I think God himself saw me fit to either learn from the experience or help the person out, or both.

Samo, about the thing that attacked you one night where you couldn't speak or move: I've been attacked many times with the same evil spirits myself. I've learned how to stand up to them, so they don't come by as often, since they know they're wasting their own time. I hope they're leaving you alone.

Hey Gina, I missed your report too!!!??? ahhhh!!!...I miss everything that's worth watching!!! darn spongebob!!! I missed Gigi's, Leelilas, now yours. But I'm going to find it, Gigi said that reports are later posted on the website.
As for believing in demons, good & evil, yes I do. I believe in God, and I believe in the Bible. Demons & Angels exist, but we can't blame them or anyone else for our actions. God gave us "free will" so no one forces us to do anything. And...I believe in possessions as well. But only because the Bible speaks of them. Hope I never witness one....yikes. Scary stuff Gina.
