All hope has not been lost in our household for retirement. The way things look and the way the Democrats are talking, especially Nancy Pelosi, my retirement may be better than ever and its arrival may come sooner than expected.
First, Senator Obama has declared that when he is President, he will mandate Citizen-paid-for health insurance for everyone. That will allow my current employer to send me the notice that my Retirement health care policy I was once promised years ago will be canceled so that I can have my neighbor pay for my new mediocre health care. So with that covered, I can go to the next thing; housing.
With the economic bailout, headed by the criminals in Congress who gave it to us and who seek to exonerate themselves, coming to the end of the process, Nancy Pelosi has announced that part of the deal is going to leave the cause of the problem intact. Yes, loans will still be given to borrowers who cannot pay, and in another ten years we will be back bailing out rich Democrat politicians and semi-private but government controlled lending institutions. (Like Flabby Mae)
Still, this will be an opportunity for us to sell our current house, and put all out assets into a Trust for our children rendering us “poor”. This will entitle us to get a house loan for that dream home we have no plans on making payments on. It is the new O’merican Dream! We pick the house, and Congress forces the lender to give us the loan; we default and Nancy Pelosi forces the creditors to pay our house off; while assuring us we will never be removed from the premises.
All we need is some assurance that Congress will pay our property taxes and it is the retirement we always dreamed of. Well, not really because a deal like this won’t be complete until Congress pays for my SUV loan and pays my credit card debt off at the end of the year. But you just know that is coming soon. After all, the Democrats seek to include their voter fraud buddies in that organization known as ACORN in the new cash cow, so why would they want to leave me out of their bail out?
As we all know, when it comes to Congress wasting taxpayers money, resistance is futile.

By whose authority are you doing these things?
In Matthew 21:23-27 we read about the religious leader’s response to Jesus Temple cleansing project. "By what authority are you doing these things?" they asked. "And who gave you this authority?" Jesus asks them a question about John the Baptists authority and its origin. They are unwilling to answer. Then Jesus told them another parable.
In the parable told by Jesus, there was a father with two sons. When the father asked for his one son’s help, the son said no, but then he changed his mind and came to work. The other son said he would help, but then ran out on his father. Then came the question, “"Which of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered.” That is the right answer.
Jesus states to the religious leaders, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.” (Matt 21:31-32)
So what group do you connect with in the parable? Are you with the religious leaders or the tax collectors and prostitutes?
The problem is that rebellious sinners in this world choose not to recognize Jesus’ authority. Religious groups today, who don’t want to offend me, recognize Jesus as a good teacher, but not the Savior of the world. Seeking to show Christians tolerance, they give the Full Monty of insults.
Likewise, the unsaved won’t see Jesus as the savior of the world, but they view him in safe terms, like a community organizer. In their sinful rebellion, they offer to Christ a title, “Community Organizer” with the expectation it will appease him. But they will not recognize his full authority and position.
To be saved, we need to identify with the tax collectors and prostitutes in Jesus parable because they saw themselves unable to save themselves. If you are like the religious leaders who questioned Jesus authority and consider him just a community organizer, you need to open your eyes. Jesus described two groups and we are all a member of one of those groups. No exceptions will be applied. Decide now what group you are in.

When I want to recall the disdain Liberal Democrats have for Christianity, I listen during election time. Last time it was the great Liberal Theologian Howard Dean. Today it is Obama supporters.
When I hear the Obama supporters make the claim that “Jesus was a community organizer” it reminds me that those people have no knowledge or belief in Jesus Christ.
Jesus was not a community organizer. If your confession of your knowledge of Jesus is that he was a community organizer, you don’t know enough about Jesus to enter his kingdom. Jesus didn’t come to organize communities. He came that sinners might believe in Him and receive justification and be sanctified. He came to rescue sinners from sin, not organize sinners into a community force.
Anyone who would suggest that Jesus was a community organizer to compare him to candidate Obama diminishes the name and person of Jesus. You need to stop. Repent and believe the truth about Jesus, the Christ.

On the anniversary of 9/11 I invite you to remember the day and the families who were changed forever. All of us were changed on that horrible day. We were forced to recognize that we had a terrible enemy who valued death and hated freedom. We were forced to watch helplessly our American neighbors suffer without being able to lend assistance, to save them.
Remember the heroes of that sad day.
Remember the brave and honorable military men and women in those theaters of war who volunteered to keep us free.
See a short video on the memory of the day and the people we lost: http://oldbluejacket.com/9_11_2001.htm

Arab World wants Obama as president:
poll Posted 5 hours 12 minutes ago
US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be struggling to nudge ahead of his Republican rival in polls at home, but people across the Arab world want him in the White House, a BBC poll said.
All 12 countries covered in the poll would prefer to see Senator Obama elected US president ahead of Republican John McCain.
In 8 of the 12 nations, people expect relations between the US and the rest of the Arab world to improve if Senator Obama wins.
More than 22,000 people were questioned by pollster GlobeScan in countries ranging from Iran to Saudi Arabia and across the middle east.
The margin in favour of Senator Obama ranged from 9 per cent in Turkey to 82 per cent in Afghanastan, while an average of 49 per cent across the 12 Arab countries preferred Senator Obama compared with 12 per cent preferring Senator McCain. Some four in 10 did not take a view but threatened to behead the person doing the survey.
"Large numbers of people around the world clearly like what Barack Obama represents," GlobeScan chairman Doug Miller said. “Islam will win the war against the West, we just need weak leadership in the White House so we stop getting our recruits killed in action.”

One thing about Governor Sarah Palin I find many people liked was that she had a story that didn’t have big holes missing from her adult life. The same cannot be said of Senator Obama. He has history that he doesn’t want told to the American people, and we are told not to ask about it.
Bryan York did some investigating and wrote and article called “What Did Obama Do As A Community Organizer?” It is very telling and explains some of what Obama did as a community organizer, and his connections to radical Leftists groups who are associated with the overthrow of America. You can read the article at:

Megyn Kelly Destroys Us Weekly Obama support and editor.
Another example of how the mainstream media lies and is in the tank with Obama. Jann Wenner is the editor of US magazine, and is a Obama supporter. So Wenner is so afraid of the truth about Sarah Palin that he tried to use his magazine to poison the well for Sarah Palin. But he was caught by Fox News Megyn Kelly. Read the transcript below and understand how the liberal left media intentionally lies to help their side, because truth isn’t their business partner, deception is.
KELLY: "So the problem a lot of folks have about this -- and I have to tell you we've gotten tons of e-mail over this -- that headline in and of itself. We'll start with this. It sounds like an attack: 'Babies, Lies & Scandal.' What are the lies?"
JACOBS: Actually... (pause) You read the story, you will see it -- it is actually very, uhh, measured. It's a very even-keeled story.
KELLY: I've read the story. What are the "lies"?
JACOBS: Actually, the lies that we point out are some of the...liberal bloggers who were speculating that the daughter was actually -- had given birth, and that there was a cover-up there. We were one of the few magazines that actually did call to task those liberal bloggers for the (gulps) news stories over the weekend.
KELLY: Bradley, do you think the cover in any way suggests to the viewer who's looking at your magazine while standing there in the grocery store that the "lies" are lies about Sarah Palin by her attackers?
JACOBS: I don't think we can talk about all that here. It is... We've gotten a lot of press today, but a lot of people haven't read this story. You may disagree, but --
KELLY: I've read this story.
JACOBS: -- it's a fairly -- it's a very balanced story. We interview strategists on both sides -- KELLY: Bradley?
JACOBS: -- we interview Sarah Palin's deputy.
KELLY: Bradley?
JACOBS: Yes?
KELLY: Okay. You say, first of all, you point out her husband Todd's DUI arrest. Do you point out that DUI arrest came 22 years ago, in 1986?
JACOBS: Of course.
KELLY: No, you don't.
JACOBS: The DUI arrest was everywhere.
KELLY: No, you don't.
JACOBS: Well, we...
KELLY: You don't, Bradley. That's not in there.
KELLY: You mentioned so-called Troopergate, talking about -- and I'm quoting from your article -- "She's under investigation for dismissing an official who refused to fire her sister's state trooper ex-husband." Do you point out the allegations that that trooper she allegedly wanted fired Tasered his own stepson, who was only ten --
JACOBS: We didn't --
KELLY: -- and made death threats against Sarah Palin's father?
JACOBS: (sighs)
KELLY: Do you mention that in that article?
JACOBS: We didn't have time to get into everything that you have mentioned!
WOW! Didn't have time to fact check. Or maybe they didn't care to check facts. And you won't find this Kook exposed anywhere but Conservative news outlets.

[sound of knock at the front door]
Obama comes to the door and sees a little girl dressed as a Girl Scout and her mother. Obama opens the door.
Obama: Hello, what can I do for your
Girl Scout: Hello, my name is Missy and I am a Girl Scout. We are selling cookies in your area and were wondering if you would like to buy some.
Obama: Well, yes, I would like to, but I cannot commit to the purchase until I have a thorough investigation into Lobbyists that may be influencing the cookies you peddle and verify that the carbon foot print has not exceeded the allowed Federal levels in their production.
Girl Scout: Um, so did you want a box or not?
Obama: I can assure you that I am working on making your life better with middle class tax cuts, and little girl, I am running for President because this country isn’t what it once was.
Girl Scout: [looks to her mother, tears streaming from her eyes] Mom?
Girl Scout’s Mother: Look buster, do you want some cookies or not? It is a simple question. Just by a box, for the children.
Obama: Hmm, you make a good point, but still, I need to consider other views.
Girl Scout’s Mother: Is your wife home?
Obama: She is out, attending an anti-America rally at our place of worship.
Girl Scout’s Mother: What a NUT! Come on Missy, let’s get out of here.
From Rudy Giuliani’s RNC speech last night.
Then he ran for — then he ran for the state legislature and he got elected. And nearly 130 times, he couldn’t make a decision. He couldn’t figure out whether to vote “yes” or “no.” It was too tough.
He voted — he voted “present.”
I didn’t know about this vote “present” when I was mayor of New York City. Sarah Palin didn’t have this vote “present” when she was mayor or governor. You don’t get “present.” It doesn’t work in an executive job. For president of the United States, it’s not good enough to be present.
You have to make a decision.
A few years later — a few years later, he ran for the U.S. Senate. He spent most of his time as a celebrity senator: no leadership, no legislation to really speak of.
His rise is remarkable in its own right. It’s the kind of thing that can happen only in America.
But he’s never — he’s never run a city. He’s never run a state. He’s never run a business. He’s never run a military unit. He’s never had to lead people in crisis.
He is the least experienced candidate for president of the United States in at least the last 100 years.

When the leaders of Liberalism discovered that they could not prevent Conservatives from talking and asking questions and making relevant observations about Liberalism they panicked. In spite of shutting Conservatives out of colleges, TV media, print media etc, Conservative views were being heard and discussed. Liberals in power needed to act fast before their lies were exposed. So they initiated the doctrine of infallibility based on personal experience.
What does that actually mean and what does it look like? Liberalism requires a monologue, not a dialogue. So to prevent American’s from discussing Liberalism and the unintended consequences of Liberalism, they tried to control the dialog and move it back to the monologue they are comfortable with. This is accomplished by sending out a messenger who has had a personal experience that represents a liberal idea. For example, we would see a woman who was unemployed because a Walmart moved in and put a local store out of business. She was a victim and no one could question the authenticity of her suffering. To ask if she went out looking for other employment, maybe at the Walmart, was considered mean spirited and the one asking would be immediately demonized for even considering the question.
Another example would be Cindy Sheehan, who is the anti-war mom who lost her son in battle, and chose to honor his death with political activism and exposing her “quirks” to the nation. We all feel her loss, but she was a nut. But to questions her ideas in public, well that went against the doctrine of infallibility based on personal experience. Even when Sheehan’s husband left her because he felt she was dishonoring their memory of their son, we were told we could not argue with Cindy’s liberal ideas about “The Bush War”.
So Liberals gave us a parade of sobbing, hysterical women and children to validate their policies of taxes and universal health care etc. If we were to ask questions about the their ability to own 42” HDTV and have cable installed in their homes and the fact that they drove SUVs but not get health care, you broke the doctrine of infallibility based on personal experience and were sent away in shame.
Now, enter Sarah Palin. A woman who is no victim but a mother of a Down Syndrome child and a 17 year-old daughter who is pregnant, and the Liberals are guilty of breaking their own rule of the doctrine of infallibility based on personal experience. They have questioned mother Palin’s choice. They have questioned mother Palin’s resolve not to terminate her down syndrome child. They have questioned mother Palin’s parenting skills.
What happened to embracing the authenticity of their suffering? Maybe it has all been a smoke screen to keep Americans from questioning Liberalism? Otherwise the Liberal establishment would be siding with Sarah Palin, politics aside. They would be supporting this woman, this government leader, this mother and grandmother-to-be, because they would be protecting the authenticity of Sarah Palin’s experience without question.
But in the end we find out that Liberalism isn’t really for helping victims, but seeks to use victims for the promotion of their politics. They are not for women, unless the women are in support of Liberalism (even then, they kicked Hillary to the curb). They are not being honest with America and that is their biggest problem with Sara Palin. She exposes Liberalism for the facade it truly is. She also exposed Liberalism to be the party of SAME and not CHANGE.
Be careful Sarah Palin, because Liberalism will seek to “Bork” you as an example to other women who want to succeed without the help of Liberals.

Some thoughts about CHANGE and Sarah Palin. Has anyone else noticed the Obama campaign team (formerly known and NBC News, ABC News, CBS News and CNN) are trying to set the women’s movement back to the 1950s? They have all but come out and demand that Gov. Palin get back to her kitchen and stop interfering in the affairs of men.
What happened to women’s choice? What happened to liberation for women? If I didn’t know better, I would think that Obama’s campaign team had converted to ultra-conservatives over the weekend and Republicans had become the Liberals.
Why is the Obama team so offended that Sarah Palin had her baby that was diagnoses with Down Syndrome? Are they suddenly against a women’s right to choose in Obama’s team or is it that they prefer dead babies? Maybe it is because Sarah Palin has a job and didn’t choose to go on welfare and become a victim and property of the state when she had this baby?
The message I am getting from the Obama team is that women should be seen and not heard, women are allowed to give birth only to perfect babies and all unplanned pregnancies are a curse, and should be terminated immediately for the good of the nation and family.
Are these really the values of American women (liberal or otherwise) or are these only the views of a political movement who believes it has a right to power, and it tired of losing at the ballot box every election cycle, because of their ideas being so far off the views and opinions of real Americans? We will find out in November.
But if you want real change, don’t vote for Obama because he wants women to be seen but not elected.
[I wonder if this is a result of what he learned from his pastor Rev Jeremiah Wright, or his partner in activism, Bill Ayrs, or is it a result of the years with his angry wife Michelle.]

I had a chat with one of my daughters last night that offers only anecdotal evidence but I thought it was worth repeating.
She and her college buddies are quite excited about Obama. He represents to them a break from the politicians of their parents. That is the real change, not anything that Obama wants to do, but the fact that he is neither a Clinton or a Bush. I have tried to educate my daughter about Obama’s politics, and his connections to anti-American leaders and groups, but she doesn’t want the facts after she has made up her mind.
Then along came Sarah Palin. Suddenly, my daughter has taken her eyes off of Obama. Last night, she was talking about how she didn’t like the things the media and the Obama camp (the two being one organization these days) did to Hillary. They were so sexist against Hillary during the primaries. She new she wasn’t going to vote for Hillary (because she was a Clinton) but she still admired Hillary because she was a woman (girl power and all those other feminine slogans).
As Gov. Palin came into view, my daughter tells me that she would be willing to vote for this new woman on the block. She likes that she is a self-made woman who achieved such goals as a family and being a governor. She admired how Palin didn't kill her son with Down Syndrom. The other thing she noticed is that she heard all about Sarah Palin’s life over the weekend. Seemed like everything was covered about the woman and her family, but Obama didn’t really have a story. For the first time she noticed that her knowledge of the Obama Story had a lot missing. He was born, then he was Senator. Where's the beef? (that's my girl)
The election is a long ways off, but it looks like Senator McCain’s choice of Gov. Sarah Palin was a good choice. I understand why Liberals are filled with fear and hate regarding Gov. Palin. It seems that when a comparison between Obama and Palin are made of life achievements and experience, Palin comes out on top.
“Obama, beaten by a woman” is a slogan many Liberal women were hoping for this election cycle, but not the exact way it appears to be working out. They wanted Hillary to beat Obama. Now it looks like Gov. Sarah Palin may beat him.

Did you see this headline?
ABC Reporter Arrested in Denver Taking Pictures of Senators, Big Donors Asa Eslocker Was Investigating the Role of Lobbyists and Top Donors at the Convention
DENVER -- Police in Denver arrested an ABC News producer today as he and a camera crew were attempting to take pictures on a public sidewalk of Democratic senators and VIP donors leaving a private meeting at the Brown Palace Hotel.
-
Like the 60 minutes guys used to say, what do these guys have to hide?
I wonder why the Democrat money changers don’t want to be investigated or photographed with Democrat Senators, and are willing to hire their attack dogs to keep their privacy? Who are these donors and what do they have to hide? Are they the source of Obama’s $200 million campaign war chest? What flesh will they require from Obama for buying him the presidency?
Isn’t it the Liberals who always complain about suppression of the free press? Looks like those rules don’t apply when the press investigates them and their financiers.
Is this China, or America?

Joe Biden – Obama’s choice.
IN 1988 Joe Biden ran for President and he said some things that I would agree with. In one of his Presidential ads he said that “The White House isn't the place to learn how to deal with international crisis, the balance of power, war and peace, and the economic future of the next generation. A president has got to know the territory. ” Who wouldn’t agree with Joe Biden that the White House is not the place to learn how to deal with world events and crisis? Yet, in Obama, you have exactly what Biden was warning against when he ran for President.
How did Joe Biden feel about McCain before being selected as VP? Biden, on a post-debate appearance on MSNBC, October 30, 2007: “The only guy on the other side who’s qualified is John McCain.”
Biden’s Iraqi policies also differ from Obama’s. Assessing Obama’s Iraq plan on September 13, 2007 Joe Biden said: “My impression is [Obama] thinks that if we leave, somehow the Iraqis are going to have an epiphany” of peaceful coexistence among warring sects. “I’ve seen zero evidence of that.”
Biden in an interview with the Huffington Post, assessed Obama and Hillary Clinton: “The more people learn about them (Obama and Hillary) and how they handle the pressure, the more their support will evaporate.”
Biden, on Obama’s Iraq plan in August 2007: “I don’t want [my son] going [to Iraq],” Delaware Sen. Joe Biden said from the campaign trail Wednesday, according to a report on Radio Iowa. “But I tell you what, I don’t want my grandson or my granddaughters going back in 15 years and so how we leave makes a big difference.” Biden criticized Democratic rivals such as Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama who have voted against Iraq funding bills to try to pressure President Bush to end the war. “There’s no political point worth my son’s life,” Biden said, according to Radio Iowa. “There’s no political point worth anybody’s life out there. None.”
Lastly, what about those WMDs that Liberals have criticized the President about? What did Joe Biden have to say about those? Biden on Meet the Press in 2007, on Hussein’s WMDs: “Well, the point is, it turned out they didn’t, but everyone in the world thought he had them. The weapons inspectors said he had them. He catalogued — they catalogued them. This was not some, some Cheney, you know, pipe dream. This was, in fact, catalogued.”
Now, will Joe Biden go in for the VP assimilation like they did with Joe Lieberman or will Biden be allowed to keep his public record on Obama and McCain intact? We will see. Resistance if futile.
And what about Hillary. The Obama camp didn't even consider her. That has to hurt.

Remembering Stephanie Tubbs-Jones isn’t a difficult thing. She was an intelligent, articulate and beautiful woman who had a profound understanding of the issues of the day, and she wasn’t afraid to take a position and defend it.
My best recollection of Congresswoman Tubbs-Jones is from the days she was a judge. Back in the late 80s and early 90s a hot social topic was Crack Babies and crack whore mothers. The social murmurings sided with making the crack mom responsible for the death of her child. Judge Tubbs was on a local news program being her usual clean and articulate self. The topic was what the law could do and what changes were needed to protect these babies from their mothers. Judge Tubbs really had a handle on the subject, as she did on most social issues.
As they discussed the options of holding the crack mom responsible for the death of her baby, Judge Tubbs brought out the side-bar of abortion, and mentioned that any law that was drafted to hold a crack mother responsible for the death of her baby would have an impact on abortion laws, because essentially in the eyes of the law they were talking about the same thing, so lawmakers needed to be careful. As the discussion continued, Judge Tubbs commented that because of the equivalence of Crack baby legislation and abortion rights, she believed that there would never be any laws holding crack mothers responsible. She was right. In the end Judge Tubbs stated the Liberal view quite clearly. There will be no discussion or law that would prevent a mother from taking the life of her unborn child. The topic was quickly dropped from the water coolers and the media no longer reported on the issue. Judge Tubbs had that kind of influence on the people she was over.
