Summer is coming up and for us their will be no summer vacation. Who can afford to go anywhere when all your money will be spent on filling up the gas tank? I think what really makes my blood boil is that all these politicans act like they feel our pain. What a crock!! Most of them make enough money to make all of us jump for joy if we made what they do. They have no idea what it's like to try to decide how to pay one bill or another and still have enough money to put gas in the car. Depending on how far you drive back and forth to work is gonna depend on how much you pay per week. It also depends on what kind of car you drive and what kind of gas mileage you get. None of these people seem to get it.. For us gas on a monthly basis is about $250 a month. Maybe that dosn't seem like a lot to them but to us it's a small fortune. What do they care? They sit there with their cushy jobs and they could care less. I would love for every one of them to try to live on just one average Americans income for a month and see how they would like trying to make ends meet. Wonder how they would feel about the gas prices then? Betcha they would be hopping mad if they had to try to figure out how to feed their family or put gas in the car so they could go to work. And if one of their family members was on disability they would really have a fun time trying to pay the bills. WHAT I WANT IS SOME RELIEF!! Not empty promises. Any one can make a promise but what you need to do is keep it. Lower the gas prices so Americans can function again awithout trying to figure out how to pay the bills or put gas in the car. What miracles can we expect with the people we have in office now? NONE!!!

You think things are bad now? Brace yourself; it will get worse. No mater the cause, times are gonna get tough. I'd direct my energy toward making a survival plan for the future rather thyan complain. Be sure to vote against all incumbants.

A survival plan would be a great idea IF you made enough money to do so. When you live from paycheck to paycheck there is NO such thing as a survival plan. When you have to try to decide what bill to pay and when you can even pay it there is no way to plan ahead. People that make enough money to pay all their bills on time don't notice it as much as the people that can't even make it from one week to another. Even families that have two incomes are having problems. When you have families with only one income it becomes a miserable way to live. And disability dosn't give you much to go on either. And I don't plan on voting for Obama OR that pain in the rear Hillary.

Well Janice, I guess you might as well go on complaining. It won't do you any good and I guess you will lose everything. Time to give up, right?

Give me a break and stop feeling sorry for yourself. There's plenty you can do if you THINK. I don't know your situation, nor do I want to. It's not like you live in Bolivia. You have a computer, right? Check the web as a start. You have work to do.

YOU are right YOU don't know my story and I would not tell you anyway. And it has nothing to do with feeling sorry for myself. It has to do with the facts. And if you don't like my blogs DON'T READ THEM!!!!!!!!

Well if I were you, I'd vote for Hillary. You might be entitled to more money under all her "gov't wants to take care of you" plans.

Maybe it'll end when Congress makes those "evil" oil company executives PAY, PAY, PAY. Let's tax the crap out of the oil companies. What do they NEED with all of that money anyway? Bring on the windfall profits tax. That'll get gas prices down.

Hey FF you brought back the old school avatar! Why would congress do anything about gas prices? Its majority democratic and they want a democratic president in office. And gas prices are really making Bush and the republican party look like shnit! When in reality the rest of the world is in as bad of shape as we are.

I am a 46 year old housewife with a 9 year old autistic child. I have lived in Florida my whole life and have been as far as Tennessee. I would love to be able to travel with our son but living with an autistic child makes it hard to do. I Spend a lot of time reading and learning all I can about Autism and ways to help my child learn . We are hoping that they will soon learn what causes Autism and ways to treat it.
