Poor little Nick. His cell is to small. His bathroom is to small. He's in solitary confinment. Poor little guy. Maybe this will get stuck in his head why he's in there but  I really doubt it. As soon as he gets out and can find a car I'm willing to bet he's gonna be sitting behind the wheel again WITH or WITHOUT a license. If he had been a real man to begin with he would have never been doing what he did with his friend in the car. To act like a jerk with only himself in the car is one thing but to do it with his so called "best friend" with him was just selfish and stupid. Now he wants to complain because he dosn't like what he's been given as punishment. What did he expect? The Ramada Inn? Cozy bed and sheets and three yummy meals a day?  Nice long baths and nice warm showers just because he's Nick Hogan? Big deal. He almost killed his best friend and we are lucky it wasn't one of us that happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. WHO WILL HIS NEXT VICTIM BE? WHICH ONE OF US WILL BE THERE THE NEXT TIME HE GETS BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A CAR? He isn't gonna learn anything from this. He walked away from this one so he's pretty sure that he's gonna walk away from them all. Maybe he will ,maybe he won't. What worries me is who will be there the next time?  When or what will it take for him to learn that he is endangering ALL of us that drive on the road with him? I don't think he even cares. He sure didn't care about his best friend so why would he care about killing any of us? Sure don't want those 8 months to end but when they do WE all have to watch our backs. He sure ain't gonna watch out for us. Thanks a lot Nick for endangering us all.

Acoording to a friend out ours that works at the jail. Nick has it very cushy there. He doing very lite things at the jail. Where is the sweat....I don't care that he is Hulk Hogans son or not. He a criminal and should be treated like one. He should be able to get so many special treatments. But dad must have paid someone off. I think he did with the judge. If someone else had an accident like that they wouldn't have gotten off so lightly. Why should they get special time to see there son. They should have to see him during regular visitation hours. Who cares if his father is famous.

Why does everyone even care how he likes jail?? And how can the jail system publicize his conversations?? Publicize every inmates conversations...
Sure, Nick was driving too fast and lost control, but it is each persons responsibility to wear a seat belt. Nick wasn't severely injured...he was wearing his seat belt. Being irresponsible lies on both of them.
If someone gets into a car with someone they KNOW drives that way, and they choose NOT to wear a seat belt, then they would be equally responsible as well.
I just don't understand why it's MY responsiblity to wear a seat belt in someone else's car, and my responsibility to NOT put myself in a potentially dangerous situation, but, apparently, it's different in this case.
I broke my back in a car accident while riding as a passenger. I wasn't the driver's fault...it was mine. I chose to get in the car with someone drinking, and I chose not to wear a seat belt....MY BAD CHOICES, MY RESPONSIBILITY, MY INJURIES!

It falls into a catagory of being "CLOSE" to VEHICULAR HOMICIDE.................. True, bad choices made by both individuales. The driver "NICKY BOY" is responsible because HE is the driver who HAD ALCOHOL in his system and was driving in a reckless irresponsible manner.. IF John was dead, he would have faced VEHICULAR HOMICIDE - No if's, whats, or butts about it!

Just heard the brat and his mama talking. She is suffering so much. How can they take her baby away. The other mother isn't suffering at all. Give me a break. He should be doing a lot more than 8 months in jail. In my humble opinion the Highway Patrol officers that stopped the brat on the freeway and didn't even give him a ticket for speeding should be fired. His dads famous. So what....His mother and father both knew he drove like a maniac and they allowed it. They should be charged too. They supplied the car and most likely the booze. If it would have been one of my kids the first time he was stopped for speeding would have been the day he started walking. Of course the brat was too good for that. Sometimes I think people have forgotten that they are suppose to be parents and set limits. A parent can't and shouldn't be their kids friends. I wasn't the popular parent in my house. I was the parent. I demanded respect from my kids and I got it. I taught them right from wrong. I better shut up. It just pisses me off.

You're right about one thing lazydazie. A lot of parents are more worried about being their childs pal then being the parent. Getting along with your kids is fine as long as you don't let THEM run over you. It's pretty obvious that Nick didn't have the slighest idea what rules were so he just did as he pleased. This is what it got him. And I'm willing to bet that when poor little Nick gets out they are gonna have a nice new, fast car just waiting on him to climb in the seat. Yeah, he's gonna learn that when he screws up good old mommy and daddy are gonna be right there to give him what ever his little heart desires. Let's just hope we aren't in his path the next time he gets behind the wheel of a car. License or no license. Why should he care? He's a HOGAN.!!!!

I am a 46 year old housewife with a 9 year old autistic child. I have lived in Florida my whole life and have been as far as Tennessee. I would love to be able to travel with our son but living with an autistic child makes it hard to do. I Spend a lot of time reading and learning all I can about Autism and ways to help my child learn . We are hoping that they will soon learn what causes Autism and ways to treat it.
