I guess there are two things in this world I just don't understand and never will. I can't understand how a person can hurt an innocent animal or a child. Both are helpless to defend theirself and have done nothing to deserve such treatment. What kind of thrill can there be in harming something so small and helpless? How do these people even sleep with knowing what they have done? It makes me wonder if any of us are safe from such evil people that have no pity or compassion for the frail and innocent. I really hope they find the creep that harmed that small puppy and I really wish he would never walk among us again. He or she should rot in prison. A life is a life. They should be ashamed!

Anyone that has read my bio by now know's that I am the mother of a little 9 year old boy that is mildly Autistic. For people that don't know or understand what Autism is the best way to put it is to explain it as a learning disability. It can be mild, moderate to severe. As bad as it can be, and I've seen it at it's worst , we are blessed that our son is only mildly Autistic. But the facts remain that he IS autistic so he's not like a normal child. Being summer I now have to take him with me to do errands that I would have done while he was in school and I REFUSE to leave him in the car for some pervert to take because as bad as this may sound my son knows no enemies. He is one of the most loving little boys you could ever ask for and is always ready with a hug. But when his Autism kicks in he can be a different child. Just as fast as you can turn on and off a light switch his mood can change and sometimes I don't even know what set's him off. For people that don't even know my son it is really uncalled for for these people to call my son a "spoiled brat"  when they are just judging him by his actions. HE CAN'T CONTROL WHAT HE DOES. None of them can. I would not wish this on any parent but having to live this has changed a lot of the things we do and where we go just because of the way people judge him without even knowing the truth. They just assume that because he's acting up that he's a "brat". We don't or can't take him to the movies because he can't stand the loud noise, we can't take him to eat at a restaurant because he won't eat but just a few foods, we can't even take him to places like Disney World or Bush Gardens because it's to overwhelming for him. So we go to parks and hope and pray there are no dogs, we hope there are no loud noises  and we NEVER , EVER let him out of our sight even to go to the restroom. This is the way of life for parents of an Autistic child. It can be very difficult at times but we are the lucky ones because our son is able to learn and do things for himself and there are others that will never be able to do for themselves. I feel for them. So the next time you have a child in front of you that is acting up don't judge to quickly because there is a possibility that neither the child or the parent can help it. We wish they could but it's out of everyone's control, even the child. But if you must PLEASE don't EVER tell a parent that their child is a brat. My child is NOT a brat. HE IS AUTISTIC. BIG DIFFERENCE!

Can anyone around here tell me the name of a Dr that does laser surgery on back's and necks? I thought I had found the answer to my prayers when I found the Laser Spine Institute. I called them and explained my problem, two herinated disc in my neck and degenerative disc disease with a cracked disc in my back. She told me they don't take my insurance{ I am on disability and have Secure Horizons} She then told me that without insurance the cost of the surgery would be $35,000. Gee maybe I must have on the wrong pants cause there ain't that much money in my pocket sorry. She then told me maybe we could go take out a mortgage. Thanks but we already have a first and a second. I just need to get this fixed ASAP without going thru all the recovery time a regular operation will take. My regular neurosurgeon was gonna have to go in thru the front of my neck and maybe if I had a child that could understand that mama can't do things regular surgery would be OK. My son , even though he is only mildly autistic and is very smart   still dosn't get what surgery is and how mama would have to take it easy. I am trying to get off these pain meds and muscle relaxers but I just can't handle the pain so I go running for the pill bottle. I am willing to go to St.Pete, Clearwater, even Orlando if necessary to get some help because as time goes by it's just getting worse. The only thing that scares me is the disc that is on my spinal cord in my neck. If anyone knows anyone I would be so grateful. I'M DESPERATE. I'm praying someone out there can help me find a Dr. so that I can be a normal person again.

What do we have to do to get some help around here. Why do we put all these people in office if they aren't willing to DO SOMETHING? WE HAVE OIL HERE IN AMERICA PEOPLE!!!! Why is THEIR oil better than ours? What are you doing? Are you saving it for a rainy day? When are you people that WE put in office gonna grow some backbone and pull your ba!!s out of your pocket and DO  YOUR JOB. Next time these foreign oil companies want to charge us more money for their oil JUST SAY NO!!! EVER HEAR THAT WORD? N O!!! What will happen to the price of their oil if we don't buy it? When it just sits there for a few weeks and the weeks turn into months what do you think is gonna happen. They have to get rid of it somehow, someway. Gee, maybe if we lower the price somebody will buy it. WOW !!! What a wonderful idea. See there people. That's at least an idea. How many have you come up with? USE AMERICAN OIL AND SHOW THEM WE DO NOT NEED YOU!!! BUT WHAT DO YOU CARE ANYWAY? You ride around in goverment cars with gas that is paid for by taxpayers money so you don't have to worry about gas prices. If it went to $10.00 a gallon  would you care? No money out of your pocket. I 've seen the cars that these politicans ride around in. Nice ride. Wake up out there and stop making promises that you aren't prepared to keep. AMERICA NEEDS YOU NOW!!!!!!!!!

OK so I'll admit it.I could have been the ring leader of the "Oh Woe is Me" pity party because I complained about EVERYTHING! Gas is to high, it's to hot, pay to much at the grocery store. Then I get the phone call.One of my closest friends called me to tell me that even though her parents were fine the house was gone. They couldn't even find a street sign to show them where their house was. They drove around for 45 minutes before they finally found the spot where the home had been. Only thing left was the small memorial stone that had been placed there in memory of her brother that had been killed in the war.It was the ONLY thing still there.No matter how high the prices go on ANYTHING now nothing gives me the right to complain anymore. My wallet might be lighter but I still have my home. My fridge might not be as full but at least I have a place to put it. And what about all those homes that are either floating down the river after breaking in half or the homes that have burned to the ground? At night I still have a nice soft bed and AC to cool me. Now I have no right to complain. How can I? Compared to them I still have it all. No matter how low gas prices go now for them things are as bad as it can be. WE have no reason to complain so now instead of whining about how much it took to fill my tank I'm just gonna be grateful when I leave the station I can go HOME!! GOD BLESS MY LITTLE HOME!!!

OK so it's happened yet again. Another teacher having sex with her students. What do we as parents have to do to protect our children? We send them to school assuming that there is the one place they will be safe but it has turned out to be the one place that parents have to fear to send their kids. Any one that has read my bio knows that I am the mother of an Autistic son. He is only 9 now but the time will come when he will be the same age as these other kids that the teachers are having sex with, I have been told I am over protective but how can I help it? My oldest son was as normal as he could be .Not one sign of autism. I knew he could tell me if there was a problem at school or anywhere else. Not so for my youngest. Even though we are one ot the lucky one's because our son is only mildly autistic there are many differences between him and my oldest. I HAVE  to be over protective. He is NEVER out of my sight when we are outside, Never leave him sitting in the car to go in a store for a second and NEVER let him go wandering around inside a store where I can't see him. I can't. Never know who is watching. So what are we to do when he gets to be in Jr High and High school? Am I supposed to go with him to each class to make sure NOTHING bad is going on? I wish I could take the two teachers he has had with him until he graduates. I TRUST THEM!! This is something that no parent SHOULD EVER have to worry about with ANY child normal or not!!!!!! What do we have to do to stop this? When are teachers gonna start TEACHING our kids and STOP having SEX with them? To the teachers that do their job we respect you and THANK YOU for doing your job. To the crud that is having sex with our  kids. YOU are a disgrace to the profession you chose to do and you should be disgusted with yourself. HOW DARE YOU!!!!

So sit down to log onto FOX 13's web page and the first thing I see is this head line telling me that poor little baby Nick wants a new sentence. OH GIVE ME A BREAK!! What does he want now? Guess we just need to send the poor little thing to day care so he can spend time with some body that might actually be able to teach the poor baby something, This is the most whining I have ever heard in my life!! He sure wasn't doing any whining when he was out there acting like a little jackass. All he was worried about then was speed, speed speed. Well I guess he would have been whining if it wouldn't go any faster. He needs to shut up and grow up and stop acting like a little baby! He is such a jerk. Maybe if we put mommy in there with him he'd shut up. I still think we should take him a care package complete with his own little blankie, a binky, a couple of bottles and a can of formula , and top it off with a box of pampers. All babies need diapers!!!! Maybe then he would get the message that he is a BIG BABY and SHUT UP ALREADY!!!!

Oh I am so sick of hearing about Nick Hogan and the rest of them I could scream already ! Poor Ms Hogan. Her spoiled brat son is sitting in a jail cell for 8 months and his buddy is in a hospital room as good as dead. She can go see and talk to her son and he knows she's there. Not so for John. Poor Nick can't get out and speed his car around all over town and kill or hurt someone else. She is so disgusting!!  I blame the parents as much as I do Nick for this because you don't give a spoiled irresponsible brat like him a car that has a higher horse power than his IQ. Give me a break!! You know if it was Nick lying in there in the condition that John is they would be trying to sue and blame everyone for what happened to their "perfect"son. As far as they are concerned they are the wronged ones. It's not their son fighting for his life. He still has a life. He has a new TV show when he gets out. Oh goody! Like I would watch ANYTHING with that little punk and his family in it!! She is crying because her poor baby is in jail. I wish she was sitting there right along with him. And she has the nerve to say that the other mother isn't suffering!!!! What is wrong with that woman?!!! Has she lost her mind? She has no idea what suffering is. BOO HOO. Her poor little baby is in jail. Give me a break already! I guess as long as your last name is Hogan you are supposed to be above the law. I WISH I NEVER HAD TO SEE OR HEAR THAT NAME AGAIN!!! What a bunch of losers!! We all have to be careful we don't dare have an accident with the perfect Hogans. We would always be in the wrong.

Poor little Nick. His cell is to small. His bathroom is to small. He's in solitary confinment. Poor little guy. Maybe this will get stuck in his head why he's in there but  I really doubt it. As soon as he gets out and can find a car I'm willing to bet he's gonna be sitting behind the wheel again WITH or WITHOUT a license. If he had been a real man to begin with he would have never been doing what he did with his friend in the car. To act like a jerk with only himself in the car is one thing but to do it with his so called "best friend" with him was just selfish and stupid. Now he wants to complain because he dosn't like what he's been given as punishment. What did he expect? The Ramada Inn? Cozy bed and sheets and three yummy meals a day?  Nice long baths and nice warm showers just because he's Nick Hogan? Big deal. He almost killed his best friend and we are lucky it wasn't one of us that happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. WHO WILL HIS NEXT VICTIM BE? WHICH ONE OF US WILL BE THERE THE NEXT TIME HE GETS BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A CAR? He isn't gonna learn anything from this. He walked away from this one so he's pretty sure that he's gonna walk away from them all. Maybe he will ,maybe he won't. What worries me is who will be there the next time?  When or what will it take for him to learn that he is endangering ALL of us that drive on the road with him? I don't think he even cares. He sure didn't care about his best friend so why would he care about killing any of us? Sure don't want those 8 months to end but when they do WE all have to watch our backs. He sure ain't gonna watch out for us. Thanks a lot Nick for endangering us all.

Summer is coming up and for us their will be no summer vacation. Who can afford to go anywhere when all your money will be spent on filling up the gas tank? I think what really makes my blood boil is that all these politicans act like they feel our pain. What a crock!! Most of them make enough money to make all of us jump for joy if we made what they do. They have no idea what it's like to try to decide how to pay one bill or another and still have enough money to put gas in the car. Depending on how far you drive back and forth to work is gonna depend on how much you pay per week. It also depends on what kind of car you drive and what kind of gas mileage you get. None of these people seem to get it.. For us gas on a monthly basis is about $250 a month. Maybe that dosn't seem like a lot to them but to us it's a small fortune. What do they care? They sit there with their cushy jobs and they could care less. I would love for every one of them to try to live on just one average Americans income for a month and see how they would like trying to make ends meet. Wonder how they would feel about the gas prices then? Betcha they would be hopping mad if they had to try to figure out how to feed their family or put gas in the car so they could go to work. And if one of their family members was on disability they would really have a fun time trying to pay the bills. WHAT I WANT IS SOME RELIEF!! Not empty promises. Any one can make a promise but what you need to do is keep it. Lower the gas prices so Americans can function again awithout trying to figure out how to pay the bills or put gas in the car. What miracles can we expect with the people we have in office now? NONE!!!

Ever since all this has happened with Stephanie Raguso it's all you ever hear about. I posted a blog the other day about a conversation I heard in a Walmart store questioning her childhood and what kind of life she's had. Excuse me? What am I missing here? Today it happened again. This time at a Dr's office. They have a TV in their lobby to entertain us while we wait and once again I heard people questioning things about her past and for people to sit there and try to come up with excuses for this piece of trash is just beyond my understanding. Maybe you'd have to be a parent to understand why this is way beyond disgusting. There is NO EXCUSE for this kind of behavior. She was supposed to be a teacher. A person that children can trust to teach them and care for them and protect them. NOT sleep with them. No one can make me believe that this woman has any thing wrong with her mind other than she like to have her sexual encounters with children. How much more disgusting can a human get? We do all we can as parents to keep our kids safe and protect them from sexual preditors and child molesters and then they show up at our schools teaching our children. I can not find any pity or make any excuses for this piece of trash. I will not call her a lady because a true lady does NOT sleep with children!! It's that simple! All parents { or most anyway} try to do their best to try and protect their children from creeps like her and when she turns up in your childs school it's really scary. How can we protect our children from them when they are with our kids everyday ? Thank goodness most of our teachers are decent trustworthy humans that love the children they teach. But it's those creeps like her that scare the crap out of me. My child is only 9. He has a long way to go and he is mildly autistic. He is prey to a teacher like Stephanie Raguso or Debra LaFave. I only wish he could take the two teachers he has had with him until he graduates from High School. At least I'd know he would be safe from trash like them. I really hope they don't let her out. She sure ain't "To pretty for prison".  Leave her in there forever because you know she will do it again. She is a disgusting person that dosn't deserve any pity. The pity should be for the boys that have now been molested by a teacher  that was supposed to teach them an education. Seems that the only thing she is able to teach is sex education. SHE gets an F as a teacher  and an F as a human with morals. SHE HAS NONE!!!!

After writing my last post the other day I heard a conversation at Walmart yesterday that left me standing there in shock and disgust ! I really hope this lady reads these blogs so she can read this. She seems to think that since we don't know what kind of life or what kind of childhood Stephanie Raguso had that nobody knows what she has been thru in her life. EXCUSE ME !! I don't care what kind of life or what kind of childhood this woman had it does NOT give her the right to sleep with kids!!!  I don't care if she was so rich she had diamonds and pearls or if she was so poor she had to sleep on the floor that does not justify this grown  WOMAN  the right to sleep with children!! She went to college to learn how to TEACH our kids the basics they need to grow up and become functioning adults. No where in all those years of college does it tell her it's Ok to sleep with a child. And she herself KNEW it was wrong!!! She was the one that said that she didn't want to , quote "Wear an orange jumpsuit". So what she did had nothing to do with her life or her childhood. It was a decision she made knowing darn well when she did it that it was WRONG! I don't know how she can stand to look at herself in the mirror. And she feels no shame for what she did. She is always smiling that disgusting smile and seems to be just as happy as she can be about what she did. There is no remorse there. As a parent it leaves me worrying about my child and what kind of teachers he will have when he gets into Jr. high and High school. My son is mildly autistic. He is smart but not in the ways "normal" children are. I can only hope the teachers he has when he gets older are as wonderful as the teachers he has now. If ANY teacher EVER disrespects our son I guess I'll be sitting in the cell next to her. I really hope they leave this disgusting teacher in jail forever because if she gets out she will do it again. She has already proved that.

We send our kids to school to learn and we put our trust in the teachers that are there trusting that they will take care of our children. What has happened here? Every time I turn on the TV or open a newspaper I see a story about another teacher that is sleeping with the students they are supposed to be teaching. Every time I see Stephanie Raguso''s smiling face I have this incredible urge to slap it right off her ughy face!! This is the most disgusting woman I have seen on TV in a long time. At least Debra LaFave had the decency to look down and not sit there smiling like she was just so proud of what she did. Stephanie is nothing more than a slut. Plain and simple. I hope she rots in prison. She dosn't deserve to be out in society with our young men. She has no self respect and no idea what morals are. She is a disgrace. How can she sit there with that smile on her face? Because when a person has no sense of values and no self respect it dosn't take much to sit there and smile . She is a nasty person that deserves everything that the system gives her.No sympathy for her. She is nothing better than a child molester. LEAVE HER IN THERE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

As the parents of an autistic little boy we live in a different type of world. While some people are aware of autism and what it is others have no clue what it is. This became obvious to me the other day while in Walmart with my little boy. Autistic children are not stupid, they are not spoiled brats as mine was called and they are not deserving of being treated with disrespect ! Autistic children are different but they are also capable of learning and loving and feeling and becoming well developed adults. We have been blessed to have teachers that have been able to work with love and teach our son things that  we, his parents could not do. My son is far from perfect ,no child is, but to have him called a spoiled brat just because someone has no clue what is wrong with my child was uncalled for. If you don't know the child then what gives you the right to judge him or her. My son is 9 years old now and because he has had love and patience and respect he has learned way beyond our expections. Autistic children are some of the most loving children you could ever meet . Just like "normal" children they all have their days and their moods and just like "normal" kids they only want to please you and be loved. I would not wish an autistic child on anyone, but once you have one you wouldn't want anyone to disrespect them just because they think your child is a "spoiled brat" while standing in the checkout line. My response to them was simple "My son is autistic. What's your excuse?'. Yes it upset me to have people juding my son when they don't even know him. Next time you see a child acting up in line in front of you there is always a possibility that child is different. Not stupid, not spoiled, just different. Autistic children are Gods little angels here on earth. You would have to see the innocence of one playing outside, chasing a butterfly and just enjoying life as only a child can do. All we can do is love them as they are and hope that one day our children will not be judged because they are different.
