Have you checked out our live studio web cameras?

http://media.myfoxla.com/live/studio/

You can catch what Tony and I are up to during the show but also during the newscast's commercial breaks.  The image refreshes every minute or so.  Much of the time, I'm hidden behind Tony's hulking body so you don't have a clear shot of my activities.  Suffice it to say, it's usually futzing with my stubborn hair or leaning over trying to read tiny print on my computer screen embedded at the news desk.  You might see Joe our floor director darting back and forth between cameras, cueing us to read our news stories.  Every now and then, Tony and I might munch on a light breakfast to keep our energy level up. But other than that, not too crazy in the studio.

What do you want to see to liven things up on the studio web cam?  Let's see if we can accomodate some requests (and no, Tony will not do a strip tease!).  This is a family show!

i have checked out the live web cam, but the cam is pretty far away. i wish it was a lil bit closer. as for what i would like to see. that's easy. i wanna see some goofy faces, bunny ear's on tony, i wanna see you flex your muscles bean. if possible, make someone laugh during mid drink. it would be funny to have a picture taken of someone spitting out there water/coffee. but yeah those are just a few of my wacky ideas. grab someone in a head lock. yeah that would be cool. but if you really want to get the guys attetion, drop a quarter and pick it up. now that's hot, owww!!!!

Ms. Jean Martinez you are A. OK in my book. I wouldn't worry much. Most folks are half asleep and most other American's understand you are a part of the country and a person. Nobody should be held to perfect standards. In fact fussing with your hair actually makes you seem that much more human than the cardboard image that media often tries to project.

So I say if you just want to be yourself, I understand as does many others and thanks for being yourself off camera during the commercial breaks. We all appreciate seeing a real person, cause when you get down to it, we are all people!

Hi Jean,

You know what I'd like to see and is my all time favorite clip. Is when Tony was riding the elephant. hahahahahha that shot cracks me up all the time. Have you took the time and really looked at it? Watch his face, he soooooo scared. hahahhah

So please, please do whatever you can to show that clip this week. Or maybe it should be the advertisement for the morning news. hahahahha

Thanks Jean!

The cam you have now is a little to far away. If you could position it before the robo-cams just off to the side, that would be a vast improvement. Jean, let Tony know that the Bobby Brown hair style is dead, and that there is no sign of a come back. That "John Waters" mustache is looking a little weak also. Tony seems to be stuck in the 80's. I think some fashion intervention is in order here!

well i don't think he would look good shaved bald, in dreads, fro, or in braids. other then that, he doesn't have many other options. i don't really see anything wrong with his look. but maybe if he grew out a gotee, that might look good. not sure. have to see it first.

to never good news, it's never easy to counsel one's co-anchor about fashion, but just yesterday i was telling tony i think his suit jacket is too big on his svelte physique. he's lost twenty pounds in the past year or so, so his clothes fit differently. i know i'm whistling in the wind because my dear frugal tony says he's not spending $$$ on a new wardrobe! Maybe you'll see on the web cam me bringing a tailor in to fit tony's jacket.

samo, tony's considered shaving his head bald for a different look. you never know when it'll happen, but it likely could! and yes you're right, tony saw action on a christmas camel. that clip is a a scream!!!

Thats pretty cool didn't know you had that, I feel kind of like a voyeur though, creepy!

Do you ever forget that it's on? That would be embarressing if Steve got caught picking out a wedgey. (",)

Is it suposed to be a still frame or is something wrong with my computer?

i say practice your yoga jean, on your breaks. woo hooo!!!!!! please convince tony not to go bald. he has a nice set of hair on his head. he should be grateful that he does. no more baldies.

Hey Jean - thanks for the prop's! As far as the jacket being to big on Tony,no problem. It worked for David Burns of the Talking Heads, it just may work for Tony. I still feel the Bobby Brown hair, and the John waters stache got to go:) Keep up the yoga. It's good for the body and mind.

OUT! PEACE......
