Hi Everyone,

So as I was driving into work today I heard on the radio a clip from Ellen's Degeneres' show, where she talked about the nightmare that she is living. It turns out that Ellen and her girlfriend, Portia de Rossi, adopted Iggy (a Brussels Griffon mix) from Mutts and Moms, a dog adoption agency here in Los Angeles. But things didn't work out as Ellen planned -- her cats didn't get along with Iggy -- so she gave the pooch to her hairdresser, who has two kids, including 12-year-old Ruby.

The kids fell in love with their new little friend. They provided a loving home for a little guy who otherwise would have ended up back in the adoption agency. But things changed dramatically for Iggy, two days ago Mutts and Moms called Ellen to check on the pup she in turn told them the truth about the dogs new home. Then last night, a rep from the agency came to the hairdresser's home, claiming Ellen violated the contract by not informing the agency of the hand-off. The rep demanded to take the dog away. Ellen' s position -- yeah, she should have notified the agency, but she found a loving home and isn't that what counts? The agency rep stuck to her guns and removed the dog with cops present. Ruby is heartbroken; reduced to tears.

Ellen says, "I kept saying, 'If you want to be mad at me, be mad at me, but don't take it out on the family. Don't take it out on the dog.'"

Now I would love what you think about this story. I have volunteered at shelters in the past and many of these little creatures are never fortunate enough to be adopted into a home where they could experience a happy life.

Was it fair for Mutts and Mom's to remove Iggy? Not knowing if he will be taken care off at a new home? Did they act this way because Ellen is a celebrity? Please share your thoughts....

Hi Everyone,

Well today was an amazing day, I had the wonderful opportunity to fly next to experienced pilots. We were not flying any normal plane but planes that were basically the backbone of the American effort during World War 2. The planes were huge and beautiful, but what really left me in awe was talking to the veterans! Their stories are incredible, all of the sudden you realize the risks that these men had to endure. I looked at them and was taken aback. It's amazing what other generations have done so we can take advantage of today's freedoms!

Plus how often can you fly over 1000 feet with the windows open? I was hoping a bird would stop by and say hello!

The coolest part is that anyone can fly in these planes, if you have a chance check them out, the planes will be here till May 1. I promise you will walk away not only knowing a little more about our history but also it will also be an experience of a lifetime....

check out the story on Good Day LA and the contact info for flights
