living the dream!

ross the intern is living the dream!
he went from being an intern, grabbing the coffee and making copies on "the tonight show with jay leno" to being a correspondent for the show!

not only that, he's lost a ton of weight! and even has a squash dish named after him at koo-koo-roo!

he is so sweet and fun, his love of life is completely infectious!

he was on the show last week, then i interviewed him for our web extra.
here's the photo we took...plus the link to the interview as well, as i never actually could find it after we did it, so i figured if i couldn't find it, perhaps you couldn't.

also anyway feel like they're living the dream?

for myself, once i got in this biz i always dreamed of working at kcra tv in sacramento, i really dreamed about it, picturing myself there (and that was before any self help book told me that's what your supposed to do!) i got that job in sacramento at my dream station, even before i thought it could ever happen.

everything else has been the icing on the cake!
my dreams now pretty much center on raising the twins the best way possible and stealing little moments away with my husband.

Well that is great Lisa, and Ross seems like a pretty funny guy too. Unfortunately his ex boss Jay will be retiring soon. Perhaps FOX can start "The Evening Show" and have Jay with the Smothers Bros do a combined comedy hour at 8Pm like the old variety shows of the 50's, 60's and 70's successfully did. I even have writer friends who would author such a show if it got backing as well. No I author fiction so I am odd man out. See, Lisa there are always ways of creating jobs so the other Ross's and Lisa's out there can also enjoy that same dream.

i have a dream. you Lisa, Dorothy, Jillian, and Steve and Tony and Jean are riding a ferris wheel. The wheel won't stop until five hours have passed. jose eber and nischelle and bob and kmetko and lozano jump on the moving wheel. after five hours the wheel stops and all go to a merry-go-round for five hours. what do you think is the reason for such a dream?

essau: i hope you find her, sometimes we find that dream person in the oddest of places, i was standing outside my husbands house covering a fatal accident on pch when we met...i thought he was homeless or a stalker given that he was in slippers and boxer shorts.

sebar: i love the shows from the 70's, i really do, that's what i grew up on, it was such a thrill when i first started in this biz and i interviewed the smothers brothers!!! and somehow i think ross will be just great whatever happens to leno.

marv: believe me it feels like a moving wheel to all of us, more often than not a roller coaster actually, but it's the most fun you can have and get paid for at the same time...yes the hours are beyond weird, i think that every time the alarm clock goes off at 2:45am...as long as we don't become the house of horrors to you, i guess it should be okay!

got thirteen more years for my dreams come to retirement ..i loved hating the ride every stinking minute no matter what anyone says about the business there is nothing better and if Ross spends everyday cursing out the producers and wondering where his next paycheck is coming from the time will fly by..barring the usually strike bump in the road because of greedy heartless people who put themselves in front of you .and worrying if your gonna lose your home lose your relationship because your never home or ever seeing your kids..Welcome aboard..enjoy the dream

Really awesome, Lisa, that your life is going great! Fortunate are the ones that do get to live the dream!!

Do I feel like I'm living the dream? People looking from the outside would say "yes". I've got a job that does ok.. steady with benefits, roof over my head, car in the driveway, food on the table. But am I really living the dream? Do I feel like I am? No, actually. And the big "4-0" is coming....!

Wait till you hit the bigger 5-0, then life really rocks bigtime! Think of it as the very, oft sought...KOOL side, the renewal of the second life to kick butt bigtime and have fun doing it. Think of it FromMDgal as opening the throttles to life full bore and playing the song "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" cause that's how I look at life my friend and it really works...cheers, and never hire monkeys with tack hammers!
