In scaning the news today online, I came across a CSPAN clip on UTube. This was done by Rep. Marcy Kaptur of the 9th District of Ohio.
She proceeded in her speech to give the reasons numbered 1-5 on the action that should be taken on this so called bail-out. She has some GREAT points. Unfortunately the people that this is most effecting will never see her point. Not to many people in this day and age flip onto CSPAN.
She gave me food for thought. Perhaps she can do the same for all of you.

I was watching one morning when Ace Young was in the studio and he was interviewing idol contestants. I think I saw Jen Epstein get a bit flustered and have rosey cheeks.
They would be a cute couple. Two great smiles. Think about it Jen!
Doug Smith's report on Mr. Ginn who doesn't have to pay home owners insurance due to his "disability" was such a shock. I can't believe it! This guy has alot of nerve.
Maybe the doctors could be interviewed to find out what their decision was based on when writing that note for anyone, not just this guy and do so without providing any of his personal medical information.
I know several people that have applied for the handicap parking permit who don't need it, but they bring the form to the doctor & he signs it. Yes, there are several that need it, however there are plenty of them that can sprint to the door of the store without passing out! Sounds like bad karma to me.....
Tonight's "My View" segment really had me mesmerized.
John's topic of our police officers losing their lives in the line of duty and the statistics are overwhelming.
As parents of a daughter who is a police officer in Lake County and a son-in-law who is with the Sherriff's department in Lake County, the worry is there everyday.
Thankfully, they both consider their vests as part of their uniform even wearing them when they go to traffic court. It's part of the outfit. That brings some satifsfaction.
Wondering every shift that they will be safe. Always having the end of a phone conversation being the same by saying "Stay safe, I love you". And their reply just as consistent saying "I will be safe and I love you too".
In the short time both have been officers they have been to more than 1 funeral for a fellow officer. They tell us that every times its very emotional as if they lost of family member. In truth, it is family to them.
I wish I had it in my power, to reduce the salaries of all the sports players no matter what the sport and disburse it among police officers & teachers. That's where the money belongs. A sports figure has endorsement deals, expenses to travel/eat with teams are given to them. I think any of them could easily live on even a million dollars. This society adores those that have a talent for a sport or can be in the movies. Those players/actors don't put their lives on the line everyday without thinking twice. Going out to save & protect people they don't even know. Those officers are the ones that should be held in adoration and have people get excited. What is going on with society?
The death of another officer this week is saddening. I can't say I know how the family feels, and I hope I never do. The fact that he gave his life on duty, makes him a star.
Thanks John. Bringing this to the forefront at least gets people thinking that maybe the next time they pass an officer they don't think twice about giving him/her a wave or a hello when they pass.
