Jet laggin' my way to your heart..

I'm still jet laggin' after a trip to Prague in the Czech Republic   I also attended the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the town of Karlovy Vary about an hour and a half from Prague.   It' was exhausting trying to convince all those people that I was a big producer from Hollywood!!   :)

Actually this town of Karlovy Vary is where the most recent James Bond film was shot (CASINO ROYALE).    The town is famous for it's mineral  spas and healing waters and looks like a well scrubbed Monte Carlo or something.

 Anyway, it was a fascinating trip to the Czech Republic, a place plagued by religious war and political strife through history...bloodshed and upheaval alongside intense beauty and rich positive moments for mankind.

Beethoven's major sponsor ( a rich royal dude) lived in Prague and Beethoven dedicated two symphonies to him, one of them is the Fifth Symphony (y'know the one with the famous da-da-dadum at the beginning).

 Anyway, it's great to be back in L.A. for the summer season this year and to some more frequent blogging in the days ahead!

welcome home! how did you feel about the architecture in Prague? tell us about the dollar's exchange value. did it seem to be a hip place or did it seem provincial? did you meet anyone special? how is the mass transit? did you take pics? did you buy anything?

I would like to know about some of Prague's cultural eccentricities such as,..the bondage bars...sexy steam saunas and the potpourri pot palaces.

I like architecture but wouldn't go to Prague just to see buildings which can be seen in a book.

I know you got a massage...please...tell us all about it?

so i was watching tsh last night around 11-12. i watched it earlier, on saturday, but once i saw like a min of it, i couldnt change the channel. i just get hooked on it. funny how that and the news hooks me like that. i think you guys should still get live bands to play on the show.

hey man, few questions: liz habib seems likeable, what is the status of her eyes? she has a glare that might be caused by contact lenses which is creepy on my tv. her personality seems mature yet she has a childish haircut-- why does she not see herself as a middle aged woman? I like her, yet i am questioning who/what (in my head) she is! and why are you not wearing a tie on the morning show? do us veiwers a favor and complete the jacket! get a tie! alright? alright!!

tie's suck. they are uncomfortable, and in this freakin heat, it's even worst. as for liz habib, i didnt know her that well, but she totally won points on me this morning on her rant about lohan and britney. so she's totally cool in my book, and i think her hair is nice.

actually i found one thing disturbing this morning. mark doesn't drink soda. what kind of freak doesn't enjoy a nice cool glass of soda everyonce in a while. yeah mark that freaked me out, almost as much as you not liking rocky. but it's cool your still cool, but i have to admit those are 2 big let downs in my book. lol.

any idea why ch 7 calls their reporter Pennacchio an enertainment guru rather than an entertainment reporter? seems absurd. he impresses me more as a homosexual than as a guru of anything. that entire team at ch 7 other than weather man garth seems soft in the toes. is that the phrase? no. i mean they seem light in the cerebrum. the banter is damn weird. what is with david ono and the rhetorical "how many times have we seen..." a car stall in a flooding creek? makes me wonder... how many tv news anchors have wanted to be an anchor since childhood? the queerest convention must be the "association of local news anchors." liz habib prolly wants to join!

Wow....there's a lot here...from marbles in my mouth to my lack of soda intake...to my (what I believe to be) questionable dance moves on Ch 13...love hearin' from you guys!!! I wish I could read it all on the air ... it makes me smile...even the bad stuff :)

Hey Mark saw your broadcast last night weather was hot and John Beard I no is a good friend but to say News is never slow ???? Anna Nichole??and weather is slow and you don't do anything well you also filled in for Garcia the end of his sports GOOD for you!!!Shame on Mr.Beard !!!Just wanted to let you no that my husband and I were watching and Dam you did great Mark and welcome back your a strong face there on FOX 11 and should be appreciated!!!
