Issues, can we find a solution ?  There are many things that confront us in this day and age, some small and seemingly insignificant, others large and possibly overwhelming. There are solutions to be found however. My example may seem small, but depending on the size of offender it can well be quite large.

As a dog lover and previous owner, I know that they come with their responsibilities. One in particular is if on a walk ,on property other than your own, once your pet has done his big job, a responsible owner will retrieve  and properly dispose of this big job. I always did, but there are those that don't. Then there are those that are half-asses. One in particular used to pick up after his pet  and make a deposit in my empty garbage can after pickup by the local waste management company. I considered it irritating at the very least. So after about a month of this, I let it be known, that should I catch that owner/ offender on my property, justice would be served " Al Bundy " style : swift, blinding and with a baseball bat !

I had another method of delivering a message, but at this time I don't have a contact in the DA's office. I wanted to inquire into my costs ( time and fines ) should I be caught. You see a person leaving crap on your property has no respect for your property rights or yourself. So the message I wanted to leave on their property was proportional. Early one morning, I would drop trow , backup against their front door, and make a  large deposit of my own on their door mat. Thought I'd leave an empty coffe cup and a paper as well, to let them know I relaxed and enjoyed my visit ! I did mention that to someone else as  I thought it the best of the two messages to be delivered, should the cost be reasonable, less than a week and under five hundred dollars. What do you think ?

Have you any issues that need creative or artistic solutions ?

So you know who it is? If not, have you considered a cheap video camera?

No Norty, but I let a gabby individual broadcast my message. It seemed to have worked. I liked the art idea though. Though I'd title it: " Fresh Pile With Flies ", the door frame and doormat would make a nice back drop. Eventually I'll get a good fish-eye camera and video recorder. This was meant to be somewhat humorous as while there are laws to protect you, they are rarely enforced. It's a complaint you hear about all of the time, with fines up to $2,000 dollars. I haven't seen anyone on the news yet or heard of anyone getting the legal treatment for this offense. I had someone complaining to me about it on several occassions as well. She said she had a picture of the pile, but without either the dog or dog and owner in the picture it wasn't evidence.

Well..... what you do with the tape is your business. I thought you might play it at the next HOA meeting. LOL

They've got another site where you can post pictures and comments on the bad owners and properties and street addresses. Anonymously, I might add. That one might be worth looking into.

Watch, wait, and wear a pair of thick gloves. As they're walking away, pick that sh!t up, and sling it right at the back of their head. I'd make sure I was still in my front yard or driveway, and that my pistol was tucked into my waistband! When they turn around and say, "What the heck did you do that for?" Give them the illegal alien answer, "Me no know, why you doo-doo dere?"

I'm kinda of the mind Deborah, when people don't respect the smaller ordinances or laws, they probably don't give much or any consideration to the larger ones !

Exactly! Soooooo, if someone is going to deliberately disrespect your property by blatantly allowing their dog to drop a load in your yard, then I say, "Sling it right back at 'em, and aim for the back of their head!"
Heck, when I'm riding one of my horses through Lake Helen, should one of them "drop" on a driveway, I WILL dismount, pick it up, put it into a plastic bag, and dispose of it properly. It's called COURTSEY! Now, if they
"do it" in the middle of the road, oh well, I leave it.

meb452m, provide DeborahLakeHelen with the guy's address and she can repay his actions by depositing "horse droppings" on his lawn. In fact, other bloggers could also be convinced to pay the guy a visit.......piles and piles.

I wouldn't be able to help her with that shadows. But if they were to see the sand-art idea, they may give some serious consideration to their speed !
