Mel Martinez's Replacement, Have You Given...

Mel Martinez's replacement have you given it any thought ? Rick Keller has a very good record for voting on  the issues as promissed when he campaigned. Do you think he would be a good replacement for Mel ? I don't think Keller is the type that would vote to give your SS dollars to illegals, Mel did. The fact that Nelson did wasn't really any suprise but the Democrats should deal with that problem ! When my  and my employer's money is taken and placed in an account for my suppossed benefit, I believe anyone that would take it and give it to someone else a thief. The fact that they so willingly do so for illegals just compounds the issue. While Rick Keller may know Spanish, I don't believe he finds it neccessary to use when addressing an American President in America. Mel did make that a point  of his when answering  some of the presses questions ( Orlando Sentinel )on the third set of immigration bills. I kinda thought if he wants to address a President in Spanish he could always talk to Raoul, Fidel's replacement.  I hear Mexico's president is fluent in that language as well.

Spot on MEB , this is even more important because good old Mel was “against” this expansion of the system all the way up to the point that he was able to vote for it ! He will make a fine addition to the other party ...but he has no place in this one!

As far as Rick I have to go back and find witch issues I opposed him on , can't put my finger on it but I do remember not seeing eye to eye with him in the past on some core issues

How often does he attend shrink ? LOL not at you though. The year before last he fought the Federal Goverments plan to sell 900 acres in the Ocala National Forest for developement. That forest I believe to be an irreplaceable public asset for present and future generations. He firmly supports your second amendment rights and votes accordingly. His voting record as a Republican doesn't seem to be under attack or questioned in televised, printed or radio news. I tewnd to take those as good signs. shrink I'll have to visit his website this weekend and do some catching up. I still think MEL the RINO needs to go !

There is little doubt that Mel needs to go. Maybe he can get a job in DC lobbying for Cuba or Mexico.

Take a deep breath. Mel isn't going anywhere. Despite all the rancor over his support for illegal aliens, he will be elected again in 2 years. He is still popular in the Latino community, even if it is only due to his name. He has raised over $16,000,000 in the current cycle (2003-) and still has over $1,000,000 cash on hand. As an incumbent this time, his big hammer will be $$$$. I'd guess he'll raise another $10,000,000 before 2010. Tough to beat.

Well, I like to see change BUT IT WONT BE KELLER.......he's only doing things right now because as with everything else.....THE VOTES will always be more important than real issues......

Hey candy, some might consider my remarks biased. So to clarify the record, I've also been watching Marco Rubio /Miamia- Rep. He sounds straight and forward. Any thoughts on him ?

Thanks for stopping by shadows and msc. While I'm a registered REPUBLICAN when I believe they are sorry I don't tow the " party line". It would also be discriminatory to only point out the DEMOCRAT'S sorry worthless bums !

I have seen Rubio and have somewhat tried to keep up with him......but to be honest he doesn't appear to have a lot of experienced..dunno.....I just didn't click with him... I will though check this Van..he really appeared to be A DOOER AND A VERY HARD WORKER.........and that's what we need people willing to sacrifice themselves NOT ON OUR EXPENSE....then election comes around and THERE YOU HAVE IT....THE GREAT "DEMOCRAPPY - IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE BS.......I too am a DEMOCRAP......but moving here to Florida has certainly giving me AN ENTIRE LOOK AT OUR POLITICS AND POLITICIANS..and can relate to the many republicans I have met in my lifetime now....and SEE THAT REPUBLICANS ARE FOR THE PEOPLE and the Democraps are for themselves and not the other way around THE WAY I WAS RAZZLED AND DAZZLED WITH THEIR BS FOR YEARS.......I am done.

I hear ya.....I believe the website is vanforcongress.com....I haven't visited yet but I will within the next few days. I met him out by Colonial where he was campaigning..that right there showed DEDICATION. Oh well, I guess in today's world everyone is in FOR THE BUCKS..WITH THE LIES TO THE PUBLIC........and you know the rest. Have a great weekend.
