A lesson for some ? A practice by others ? Maybe, maybe not, I guess it depends on you. I've read , by now,  thousands of posts and commented on hundreds. I lean towards those that are of my personal intrest and of my friends, many are of great educational value. However there is one type of post I stay away from, that of the personal attack. I don't take sides, even if it's a friend. I myself have made few if any personal attacks on another blogger for any reason. I have ONLY deleted comments at the request of those that commented and have requested that I do so. I have NEVER deleted any of my posts. Don't believe me, check the archives.

Personal attacks are UNBECOMMING, reguardless of the person or reason. They cast the commentor in a bad light as well. I do my damnest to refrain !  I do not want to be involved in anyone else's personal issues as well !

I will however make remarks about the lawyers and the politicioans, as I believe them FAIR  GAME.  MANY , I believe to be : POS's, Liars, Thieves, Idiots, Imbecils , Fools and Sexual Deviates. In these SPECIAL cases, I will offer what I believe to be proof, their own words and their own actions. I do this because this group of individuals is suppossed to represent us, and they will, while on earth, be either our salvation or damnation.

Remember you never really have to make a negative comment on another blogger, for if it is true, they and their words will leave little to no doubt !

I agree with you 100%, this is so unbecoming and disruptive to all the people here.These harassing attacks need to stop.

I am sorry if I have upset you in any way Meb. For the most part I try to stay out of it, but for some reason my name comes up over and over and over and over again, even though I had been ignoring this person for well over two months when the last round started.

Once again this past week my name has come up over and over and over and over again! I was tired of NOT saying anything, so I finally did, and ya know what? It wasn't pretty! I want it to stop too, and I am afraid the only way that is going to happen is if FOX bans the offending posters.

I personally don't care if I get banned for anything I have said. I am fed up and I hope you can understand that. I am sure you would feel much the same way if someone you continually ignored kept dragging your name through the mud!

..it used to be "alittle" entertaining.....now pages of cut and paste...over and over again. I wonder if it will ever die down....I hope so...i just skip over the BS catfight now, its grown so very old. And personally i really dont care...it doesnt affect me at all.
Thats the joy of this country..we can all have our own opinions...so far anyhow.

I've stated it before and I'll state it again! It takes two or more to tango and all it does is feed the fire and insults the host and their post! So it isn't just one that causes the disruption but everyone else that adds on and builds the flame! It's rude, it's insulting, and it's childish! This is American and freedom of speech is our right but so is the choice of getting involved or looking away! It's much easier to scroll past anyone who chooses to insult and just comment on the subject of the post, but it makes it hard to comment on a post when others continue in the off subject commenting! It takes a bigger person to stop it within it's tracks and stick to that persons posted subject and douse out the flame instead of continuing to feed the fire attack! The question I have to everyone is, "Who can be that better and bigger person and who can not?"

Yes Meb, I did allowed myself to be drug down into the crap for a time, but I also did apologize and attempt to smooth the waters and was judged as being insincere in that attempt. I make no excuses for my behavior, but please do keep in mind what Brenda said. It is very easy to state what one would do in any situation until one is in that situation. Anger can get the best of all of us sometimes, especially when everything else you try gets twisted.

So if I offened you or anyone who was not drug into the frey while trying to defend myself I am sorry and that is the LAST apology I think I need to make.

Thanks for the comments all. Mater I'm thinkin we've read the same book and you have hit the high spots well ! LOL! Brenda and TAllen you haven't really offended me,trust me I've been there, I expected more of you and was disappointed a little. You're good bloggers, be well known for that ! :)

Well Meb and Mater, when someone starts dragging your name through the mud and then starts dragging your mother's name through the mud as well, I would bet that you would find it hard to bite your tongue anymore. I have bit my tongue for the last time. I refuse to bite my tongue any longer, and I will not hesitate to let the crap fly.

Brenda, I know you didn't start it and I'm not asking that you appoligize. An individual, who I choose to remain unnamed, pasted my avitar in one of their posts and I let them know it wasn't appreciated. Given a choice I prefer to get along with people if possible, and it doesn't always happen, however I'm well known for not going along.

Meb, all I know about you, is that you have never once said something to me that was degrading or nasty. I DO know, for a fact, that you have witnessed attacks on me, and at the time, expressed your dismay. I thank you for that. A lot of this started a long time ago, for reasons unknown to me. But, I like Brenda and many others are sick of it, and "we ain't gonna take it anymore!" You can only kick a dog so many times before he bites you, whip a horse so many times before he kicks you,
and slap a person down so many times, before they retaliate. That's the point "we're" at. We
tried the "Olive Branch" approach. It didn't work.

Hey Deborah ! I know where you're comming from. Everyone has buttons, but no one else can use them unless you let them. Leave them stuck in the elevator in a dark and dank basement. Hey I'm just a simple man but it works. Post you're posts, there are those that appreciate you and then there are others.

Meb, you must surely know I have always tried to be a peacemaker here.
I jumped in between you and Abunai, when you were at each others throats. You now are friends, that may disagree, but with respect.

I have tried far too many times with the un-named individual here that will not let the hatred go!

It gets to a point where you have to say enough is enough! I tried and failed more than once, more than twice, and even more than thrice!

Enough is enough for me, and if this person insists on continuing thier hatred, they will get it back in full!

I try to get along with everyone, but reserve the right to disagree.

The point here is harrassment, that seems to never end. I hate it, and can no longer accept it as "blogging".

It is a vendetta. It will continue as long as FOX allows this person to continue thier vendetta. Simple as that.
