The world is troubled about the attacks by terriost who killed 195 people and almost 300 wounded. Ms. Padmini Makam watched in horror as militants attacked the Taj Mahal Hotel,a landmark in Mumbai,India.

It was like hitting New York as Mumbai is the heart of India. The terriost wanted to hit it to paralyze the country. Ms. Makam,of Schererville,Indiana said "she was paralyzed, watching the devastation unfold".She is a native of Bangalore,India, but has been living in the United States for 30 years. At least 15 foreigners, including 5 Americans, were among the dead.

Now many are urging the government of India to take "strong action" against terrorism. Mr. Michael Steinberg, executive director of the Jewish Federation of Northwest Indiana says" If there's problems in the world,I don't know why they can't involve talk and displomacy rather than terrorism".

What is the next answer to this issue? Now the FBI has been ordered to India to investigate the bloody Mumbai attacts that killed at least 5 Americans.

Now Pakistan is working to avoid a dangerous crisis with India over the terror attacks. It appears that the war on terror is a long way from being over. What do you think?

What's your thought about this issue? Terrorism.

Despite lower gas prices, fewer Americans are expected to drive.Even though fewer people may be traveling this holiday season because of difficult economic conditions. But  cars, planes, and trains are expected to be filled but fewer planes will be flying.  Fewer Americans are planning to travel more than 50 miles from home for the first time since 2002 according to a AAA survey.

About 41 million Americans, down 1.4 percent from last year.More than 80 percent expect to drive and 7 percent expect to fly.More people expect to travel by train, bus or other transportation than last year.

Although the price of gas has come down to an average of $1.78 nationally from $4.27 nationally lower prices have not had enought time to make a big enought difference.

The damage has already been done and it says that Americans just don't have the money to spend this time around.

Americans have made there choice and Barack Obama is the choice. It is now time to see unity and commitment to seeing change in our country.

I am sure knowing Barack Obama as I do we will see Republicans and Democrats work for the common good of our nation. It won't be a cake walk but it will be Government a little different than the norm. This is apart of the change agenda. I had the oportunity to see and witness the heart of our new President-Elect Barack Obama. And as I have always said and say today" Barack Obama is a good man who loves America".

Looking at all the problems and challenges our Nation is faced with,it will take a leader with the heart of Barack Obama and those he selects to help bring change to the majority of Americans.I am sure there will always be hate, malice, and bigatry. But it is time to get our house in order and restore respect.

Change did not just start but many a months ago as I went to rallies I knew it was coming. This is real and not a joke.Change is coming to our Land and it is good. In fact none of this really suprises me at all. I always felt that Change was coming!!

Good day LA!

Well I have witnessed seeing so close to my domain a F2 Tornado. I find it kind of strange during the month of August which is usually the dry and hot time of the summer to be the rainy and windy time for the upper midwest/NW Indiana area. Now with weather conditions reported for the upper 90 plus degrees and no rain forcasted for a couple of days with 50 percent chance. But seemly out of nowhere the storm came a day it was to be a dry day. It was as if the weather man missed calulated this big storm front.Have you ever seen them miss like this? Come on now this was a F2 Storm passing over head.

This storm was so strong going thru even my city that I could not believe what was happening. It passed over my home but a tornado has been reported to have actually hit some parts of the city. Some residents electricity was off for about 5 days with roofs blown off.

But about 12 miles further east in Griffen,Indiana a city that I go thru all the time was hit with a F2 tornado. There were at least 30 homes totally distroyed. It was an amazing thing to witness the destruction.Well I guess there will be storms that the weather man will miss.I found this amazing with all the new technology.
