To the dozens of you contributing your thoughts on the MyFOX Hampton Roads Community Page about the Michael Vick Dogfighting Investigation, thanks and keep 'em coming!

However, many of you have posted your blog entries here in the sports blogs, only to find them moved to the news blogs. I wanted to address why.

From an editorial perspective, the Vick story is only a sports story insofar as it affects the Atlanta Falcons and the NFL in general.

To date, the blogs posted here have been about the news aspect and not sports. Because of this, I've been changing the category of Vick-related blogs posted here from "Sports" to "News". That's why you see the notation that the post has been "edited by an administrator" (it hasn't actually been edited - only reassigned).

Coach Langston died Tuesday at the age of 65. When he retired from coaching, he was recognized as a legend among area high school football coaches. Norcom High School named their stadium after him. He was named the district Coach of the Year on four occasions and the coveted Virginia Coach of the Year in 1993.
