I did not see the surprise.

I was watching the news this morning and I saw a report about all the men who got arrested in the internet ring.  In the report they said it is surprising, some of the men who showed up.  One guy was attending christian College.  No surprise there.  One guy had some sort of degree in child care or something like that.  No suprise there either.  Last, one guy worked for disney.  Those where the main three that were pointed out and I could not help but ask myself,  where is the surprise.  Maybe someone can help me by pointing out what I missed.

These types of folks live and wok all around us. They are like chameleons, they blend in. Then when one is found and depending what profession they are in, wow, its big news.
Would it have been big news had they worked at Sears or Dennys? Probably not. It would have probably still have been news but where would the sensationalism be from those two occupations?

Well it seems like the media expects us to be shocked about who might do these types of thing, but its in the news so much, there is no surprises about it anymore.
