It really does need to stop.  First off the name needs to change.  None of the winner of any american idol has actually become an idol to me.  If it must continue at least stop calling it reality tv.  I mean in realitly you dont go to a contest and become famous.  I think if we want a true american idol they should do an eminem special about how he became so famous.  Please stop American Idol.  Shut it down.  Stop it.  

The whole record label thing is starting to become a joke. First they took away the sites that were allowing people to trade music online. Now that is not aloud anymore. Now MySpace which is suppose to be a place where you can set up a site to make friends and connect with people whom you might have lost contact with, and a way to express yourself, by blocking copyrighted music. I did not know that uploading music, which can now get you banned from MySpace was illegal. So people may download the music on thier computer. The person downloading the music is not using the music to make a profit. I mean if someone really wants to copy music so they dont have to buy it, they can use an old fashion tape recorder and record it when that music is played on the radio. It is becoming so utterly and outright stupid, that pretty soon the radio isnt going to be able to play music anymore because it is taking away from the recording artist. Oh and i think it should be pointed out, that it wasnt napster or morpheus or myspace that is causeing artists to loose money due to downloading music. It started when a CD started costing 15 to 24 dollars, and that was way before we were able to download the music. Plus its not the downloading thats doing it. Its the companies like HP, Dell, and so on that started producing cd burners which aloud us to make the cds for ourselves. Maybe the sueing went in the wrong dirrection. Oh and by the way I took the advise and stopped using all caps.

I DONT USUALLY WATCH GERALDO RIVERA BUT I CAUGHT THE END OF A SHOW HE DID A FEW MONTHS BACK ABOUT THE SHOOTING OF FEDERAL OFFICERS IN THE FEDERAL PRISON FOR FEMALES. HE WAS MAKING STATEMENTS ABOUT HOW ANYTIME YOU HAVE MALE CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS WITH POWER OVER FEMALE INMATES, THAT CORRUPTION IS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN. BEING A MALE CORRECTIONAL OFFICER IN A FEMALE CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTE, I FOUND THAT REALLY OFFENSIVE. I DONT THINK THE PUBLIC REALLY KNOWS THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED BACK THEN HOW HOW THINGS WORK IN THE PRISON SYSTEM. SOME THINGS ARE TRUE. MALE OFFICERS HAVE GOTTEN INVOLVED WITH FEMALE INMATES, BUT WITH THE STATEMENT RIVERA MADE, HE MADE IT SEEM LIKE ONLY MALE OFFICERS GET INVOLVED WITH FEMALE INMATES. THAT IS VERY FAR FROM THE TRUTH. IT HAPPENS MORE WITH FEMALE OFFICERS AND MALE INMATES, AND IT DOESNT HAPPEN AS OFTEN AS THE PRESS MAKES IT SEEM. PLUS THERE ARE A FEW THINGS PEOPLE DONT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND. INMATES ARE EXPERTS IN MANIPULATION. THEY GET TO PRACTICE 24 HOURS A DAY. SOME PEOPLE FALL FOR IT. ITS THE SAME AS SOMEONE WHO ENDS UP BUYING SOMETHING ON TV THEY DONT NEED. IF SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO SELL IT TO YOU THEN YOU BUY IT. WELL SAME FOR OFFICERS. NOW WE ARE TRAINED TO WATCH FOR MANIPULATION, BUT NO ONE IS PERFECT. THE PRESS LIKE GERALDO RIVERA TRY TO MAKE US SEEM LIKE THE ONLY REASON WE TOOK THE JOB AS CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS WAS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF INMATES. BUT IF YOU LOOK AT THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH INMATES AND GROUP ALL OFFICERS IN THE SAME SPOT, THEN IN THE SAME TOKEN, PRIESTS MIGHT AS WELL ALL BE THOUGHT, CHILD MOLESTERS, ONLY TAKING THE JOB TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CHILDREN. SO BASICALLY MY POINT IS VERY SIMPLE. INSTEAD OF RIVERA TRYING TO SOUND IMPORTANT AND GETTING PEOPLE TO WATCH HIS SHOW BY SAYING AS LONG AS MALE OFFICERS ARE IN CHARGE OF FEMALE INMATES THERE WILL BE CORUPTION, HE SHOULD CHANGE THAT TO ANYTIME, ANYONE IS PUT IN CHARGE OF ANOTHER GROUP, THERE WILL BE CORUPTION. MALE OR FEMALE DOESNT MAKE A DIFFRENCE.
