I have seen hundreds of concerts in the Kansas city area. Some good, some not so good, and some I cant remember.
The first show was Ozzy and motley crue, 1984, WoW, it was on. I was lucky enough to see Alice cooper on my eightteenth birthday, and I liked it .
I have seen the singer of Ugly Kid Joe, rip out the ceiling of a bar called Woodys and once was lucky enough to eat watermelon and drink Heineken with The great Bo diddley.
I once ended up center stage with Ozzy. It was Memorial hall, I had realy bad seats. As they droped the lights, I ran. Lower Level, right side, over the speaker, around the sound board, and face to face with Ozzy, as the spotlights come on.
wow I was that guy, that guy that is about to be beat up by security.One from the left, one from the right, I dive head first over a six foot gap into the open arms of a bunch of people I never saw again. Thats just a few of my Favorites. If you want to share a story of a concert, please do. If you want another story I got alot of them.
Last summer, on a nice Sunday afternoon, my son and I went to one of the small parks along Blue river road. We were using our metal detector along the banks of the river, when we were aproached by a Park ranger. He politely explained that we should probably exit the park. The reason was, gay men hook up in the woods there. so when I hear about how great K.C parks are I laugh. I guess it is easier to remove a family from the park, rather than the quick and crafty Perverts. So listen up pervs, get a room.
