Britain Caves to Sharia Law

This is horrible news. Britian will allow Sharia courts to decide on domestic abuse cases as well as divorce and inheritance problems. Lower criminal cases will go to the sharia courts.

Oh, like a muslim woman is now going to complain about her husband beating her  or her daughters.

I cannot believe they are so STUPID as to give away their own sovereignty and laws to a bunch of immigrants who will NEVER show any loyalty to Great Britain, but will only seek to take it over.

This is terrible, one block of Western civilization is slowly crumbling under muslim demands. I wonder how soon they will do the same thing to America and which politicians will help them. This is terrible, terrible news.

MissNancy there are many countries being taken over by insurgents and the use of politics against their own people. It is happening in America, that is why we have "LaRaza". You thought I was joking or crazy when I brought up the Zetas. They have taken over Mexico, or at least made the economy and its people suffer. Having Chertoff in office certainly is not beneficial to America's best interest and safety. He took office in 2005, I ask when did our financial problems become prevalent? Why have the immigrants in this country changed the "English to Spanish" print in this country? Because they were allowed to and by use and manipulation of liberal ideas put into action. Did Chertoff protect the "American" business from the extra expense of printing in spanish, no. Israeli goal is to undermine other governments economically.

Take note that most of the cases of money laundering, criminal drug smuggling actions are taken against Italians or their businesses, not the spanish sector practicing the same if not at a greater level of the same criminal actions.

This is awful! How could the people allow this to happen?

I think perhaps the people of the US should put some pressure on this government to make it ILLEGAL to adopt any policy like this here in the US (just in case some politicians get the idea it's ok)

Please don't anyone say it's ridiculous - you never know what is in the minds of some people.
The whole idea of this happening gives me the creeps.

I agree, mzjazz. There are so many in our political system who are closet socialists that anything can happen.

In their zeal to show how tolerant they are of other religions, trying to be fair, trying to "get along", Britain is giving their own country away piece by piece. Soon, the muslims will outnumber the Brits and when they do, there goes Great Britain.

A country that has survived for centuries will go down without one shot being fired. Brits will be dhimmis in a muslim land once known as Great Britain.
