I rather doubt it. people of detroit already knew what kilparrick was like. They voted him back in just the same. his mother raves like a lunatic about her boy, and they voted her back in as well. It's only going to take one person to say not guilty, and kilpatrick will be once again laughing in detroit's face. To me it's all a waste of time and money. blacks feel some sort of loyalty even to those that this man has hurt the most. other blacks. He wants to attend democratic convention, yet the democratic nominee doesn't want him there. Another black man. This man has not only hurt his family, the city he said he loved, but he is now hurting other viable candidates needed to help true black causes. blacks better start looking to real leaders that at least will act with some sort of class. because the mayor of detroit is leading them into a river of mud, that they may not be able to get out of. somebody on that jury will feel, i'm not going to let them drag this man down, because he's black. when if they really open their eyes they will see, a more educated man that will lead them further than anyone could realize possible. do you really want to stick up for this person that stole money from your own pockets, and let him get away with it? or will you fore go the nonsense and get down to business to support a man that deserves support to change things for the good of his people.kilpatrick has drug down all the blacks with him, your democratic nominee will help you only if you let him. you'll have to decide who deserves this loyalty more. but you had better look to the future, supporting kilpatrick will lead you no where. Remember that. you can help yourselves or you can continue the downward spiral. it's strickly your decision. Just food for thought. For now i'm off to give my neighbor a ride  to work. all of you have a peaceful day.

 

For 5 or 6 days we thought summer had begun. went out on the boat and enjoyed. Back comes 70's, even 60's. nighttime temperatures dropping almost in 40s. Horrible back and forth weather. I'm personally sick of it. I want to be able to go out on the lake and stay out for a while, without having to worry about freezing. before we know it summer would of came and went unnoticed.

At 11 he killed in cold blood. i knew then this boy was lost, they should of never let him out. Giving the chance he will kill again. look at the way he was dressed when he left prison. hoodlum then hoodlum now. but who knows he might be elected as mayor.

I'm 67 years old, a retired factory worker ( G.M ). I'm also a veteran. I have visited this sight for some time. Have read some very interesting things here. It took some time to want to post something myself. i do know one thing, there seems to be quite a lot of immature people here. I've noticed people attacking others because they disagree, whether it be politics or life in general. Message boards are filled with horrible language, something i don't understand is why such a prominent news station would allow. It seems from what I've read, it would be very hard to have an intelligent conversation about anything here. Because the minute i would disagree with some one about something .they would write a blog about me. Doesn't seem quite fair. Someone can ask a simple question, and if the person doesn't understand the intent. Attack. I'm to old to argue with people over their views on something. Because we all have different opinions on subjects.For the most part, i'll probably still just do the reading and save the responding.I'm not a good typer anyway. in fact i'm horrible at it. I certainly hope that my fox detroit erases all of the bad language. It isn't necessary. But as of right now, i have to drive my neighbor to work. as i do every day at this time. i'll see you all in the morning tomorrow. try to comment without swearing at each other.
