Because of You, today I can celebrate a 25 Year Anniversary!!

It is amazing how time goes by.  As if it was yesterday, I remember when I went to your office for an interview.  I had just graduated from school and had dropped off Resumes in various offices.  After having been called to several interviews, no one wanted to hire me because I did not have any experience.

I had gone through approximately six interviews before I went to your office.  When Mr. Raymond interviewed me, just like all the other employers, he told me “We will call you”.

I remember talking to Mr. Raymond and asking if he was the person who would make the decision to hire me and he said “no”.  I asked if I could meet the person who would make the decision and he introduced me to You.

After talking to You for few minutes, You indicated You needed someone with work experience.  I remember asking aloud “How Am I going to get experience if no one wants to hire me?”

At the end of our conversation, I offered a proposal.  “Please let me work in your office for one week without pay.  If you are not satisfied with the work I do, I will leave.”  You hired me the next day.

I worked in your office for five years before I moved to Puerto Rico.  After the devastation from Hurricane Hugo, I went back to New Jersey and you gave me a job, even though I always thought you did not need another employee.  I worked for you another four years before I moved to Florida.

Mr. Rosenberg, THANK YOU so much for giving me that first opportunity!!

It is now 25 years of good memories ...

As always, I will keep You in my prayers and in my heart.

God Bless,

LOL, Candy ~

I hope your headache is gone by now ...

I lived in New Jersey for 14 years (Passaic/ Clifton/Paterson area). I also had friends in Newark and used to travel on Highway 21 back and forth.

I doubt we are talking about the same Mr. Raymond. That is his last name and you are correct, he is an attorney.

LOL, Candy ~

Sorry to tell you, but you were not close ... come to think of it, you are right ... there are a lot of Rosenbergs in New Jersey! ~ LOL

Life sure is funny. I have a friend who I met in New Jersey 29 years ago. That friend moved to Puerto Rico and I later moved to Puerto Rico. I then moved back to New Jersey and my friend stayed in Puerto Rico. We lost touch for a couple of years.

When I moved to Florida 15 years ago, out of the blue I received a call. My friend had moved to Florida and was calling to let me know!!

I guess a great friendship can be kept through the distance, but it is much better when your friends are close!!

Enjoy your day!

Troiano he gave me the first brake and in fact taught me all I know in law I worked for him for 3 years then I moved up the rank..he later became a Judge in the Superior Ct in Essex County and funny we still communicate with each other every chance we get.
