I'm gonna vote no. If U want to accecpt them giving the public a bone, then go ahead. This I do know, the government is a liar. Has been 4 a long time. Another thing I do know, The general population just eats it up. That's why "It's the way it is". Now as 4 your #'s 1-4, I'm with ya all the way. How can we make it happen???

Patgrant74, the problem is the poor, we have become a nanny state and instead of helping people get on there feet we have given them a bigger bed. The best government hand out is a job!
How about instead og the federal government giving out cash so we can buy crack,beer and flat screen tv's, lets start creating american jobs by rebuilding this country's introstructure.

It is only going to hurt in the long run. It is not much of a tax break.

There will be more than 12 billon in cuts to police & fire depts, local health care, road construction, senior centers, after school programs.
Increased fees for essential services.
Some 3 billion in cuts to schools in the next 5 years, Florida ranks 48th in the nation in education funding!!!
Massive layoffs for the public-sector employees.
An even more unfair tax system that helps Big Buisness & beachfront millionaires at the expenses of working families?

You need to know not all the school monies comes from the goverment like that. Buses, maintance, etc do not all come from the goverment like that.

Real Estate people think its going to be a good thing, but it isn't in the long run!!!!!

I am under the impression that property taxes didn't go up, property values went up so the millage rate was the same but the dollar figure was adjusted up. My problem is that the tax role has probably tripled in the last 5 years with the population growth and all the new construction. If the state has 3 times the amount of houses that it had 5 years ago then there must be 3 times the amount of tax money being made. It should not take 3 times the amount of money to provide services for the residents because like anything else in society cost goes down on a per person average when you provide for more. The state needs to just stop wasting and purchasing what it doesn't need. The state agencies need to be made to save instead of spending all they are budgeted so their budgets don't get cut the following year.

I strongley support the Fair tax and mike Huckabee and I am getting ready to go to his rally in Tampa.(Tampa International Jet Center)
There will be no Tax to pass on to the consumer because the Fair Tax gets rid of the inbetted taxes.
For Example
A pen cost $1.00 at the store
23% of that is corporate and income tax.
The pen now will cost $.77 at the store with a 23% sales tax.
The pen still cost $1.00 but you get to keep your entire paycheck and get a rebate check from the government every month.

also we should do away w/ state tax and property tax COMPLETELY...these idiots are not using our money to do any good for our community, they are wasting it on BS and padding their own pockets..they need to get paid a regular salary like any joe blow would and make sure it caps off..for every thing they promise and don't hold true, they should either be dismissed or get a huge pay cut.
And yes, VOTE ABOSOLUTELY F_ING NO on this tax cut..make them work for something better because this crap is not going to cut it!
