Karl Rove has been a frequent analyst lately on Fox News. Of course, the liberals will have you believe that Rove is a cross between the devil himself and Adolph Hitler. But you know what? He speaks very well, succinctly, and articulately - and he seems like a nice guy to boot.

I'd vote for him if he was running.

Let me see...we've got a choice of three right now. We can choose from a RINO (republican in name only) who claims to be a conservative. We've got two out and out socialists in the form of Hillaryous and Nobama.

Hillaryous and Nobama are going to slug it out until the convention in August. I guess at least by then we'll have it narrowed down to two.

Who's it going to be, McCain and Hillaryous or McCain and Nobama?

Where has Ron Paul been? Haven't heard from him lately.

Charlie Crist is supposably on the short list for McCains vice president. Crist has been campaigning with McCain on our dime. There are also rumors that McCain may pick Lieberman. Is either choice going to help McCains stance with conservatives. They would help him get more votes from moderate democrats and independents. If he wants the conservatives to vote for him maybe he should choose Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter as his running mate.

I know that McCain is not our idea of the "perfect" candidate. But I have heard a lot of discussion that many conservatives are refusing to vote for him (assuming that he gets the nomination). Are you EFFING kidding?

This talk of wanting to put (another) Clinton in the White House so that the Republicans can watch the country crash and burn under her rule is insane.

After Tuesday's primary, I am finding myself leaning toward Ron Paul. However, I fear that no matter how hard the grass roots effort pushes, he does not stand a chance. And I am also afraid that a vote for Ron Paul will have the same result as a vote for Hillary Clinton. Look at what happened with Ross Perot in 1992.

There is a lot - a WHOLE lot - that troubles me about McCain, specifically  (but not limited to) his stance on illegal aliens.

HOWEVER, he's GOT to be better than Clinton. Please, do not allow another Clinton to take the White House.

I am sick to death of the leftist weenies constant harping about their rights being trampled by the Bush administration. Give me one example of how your rights have been diminished or compromised. NO, not the "rights" of terrorists - YOUR rights. Has someone from "the government" broken into your home to conduct a warrantless search? Have you been denied right to counsel after being charged with a crime? I didn't think so.

Another drum that they constantly beat is this assertion that the Bush administration is involved with untold clandestine operations. If you ask me, these "operations" that bother you so have kept us free of terrorist attacks here in the USA for over six years. God help us if we ever have to kowtow to the New York Times philosophy and publish our plans for covert anti-terror operations.

I say "shut up" and let the government do the one thing that they HAVE gotten right - keeping us free of terrorist attacks.
