It appears free speech and tending to ones own political agenda is Berkeley's new M.O.  By trying to run the Marines out of town while taking Federal funding.  South Carolina Senator, Jim Dimint is fuming, along with thousands of people over this issue.

The Marines are simply carrying out their Constitutional right and role for our country.  I find it pretty insulting for a college to want and expect government funding while slamming the door on the military forces that have enabled their freedom in the first place.

This has nothing to do with Berkeley protesting the war.  They have that right,  and should feel free to protest what they think is right or wrong.  It just seems pretty appalling for them to forget where that privilege came from to begin with.

Is it really too much for us to expect Americans to be grateful for our armed forces protecting that right?????????

Where is the Constitution does it say that a Marines role is to go to colleges and recruit students to die?

Where does it say they can't recruit. If Berkeley ever needs the help of the Marines in a disaster let them do without.

As a parent, you have the right to refuse that recruiters have access to your children in Jr. High as well as High School. My ex and I both believe strongly that our daughter should not be subjected to the propaganda of recruiters that visit her high school, so we jointly signed a letter notifying the school that recruiters are not allowed access to our daughter.

I encourage every parent that believes your child means more to you then allowing them to be a pawn for the US Government, to contact their schhol and exercise your right as a parent to keep the war mongers propaganda away from their developing minds.

I consider myself a conservative republican, who gets annoyed with double standard positions. As a pastor, I serve in many areas of ministry and I am governed by a moral compass. I feel the world would be a better place if all people would be more mindful of implementing and acting in a moral way.
