Does anyone know if it was cancelled???

Just kidding, I know what American Idol is.....in fact I used to watch it last year.  When I saw the talent that was out there this year I decided to tune into anything else, on any other channel opposite Idol. 

I think for next year the producers should make some changes.  Change the age guidelines to 21 to 35.  That would eliminate all the teeny boppers from wanting to watch it and vote for long haired little boys who can't sing.  That would be a start in the right direction anyway.

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!

There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch . . . you may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a hu sband. .

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:
Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead good looking and help with the housework.

"Oh mercy me" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.

Pablo wrote a blog on the Beatles the other day and it sure took me back in time.

I dug out my old vinyl record albums and found albums by the James Gang, Michael Stanley and the Raspberries. All of these bands were from the Cleveland area and were top notch!! They were fun to dance to & fun to sing along with. I've seen all of them perform and they all put on a great show, too.

Does anyone have any memories of these or other Cleveland bands they's like to share?

I have a gripe about these blogs. Probably a good 95% of the people posting here show respect for other people, even in disagreement. The other 5% or so have been mean spirited and are constantly disrespecting other people and their opinions.

We all don't have to agree with each other, that's what makes this forum interesting. Those of you who hide behind an anonymous name, with no bio or pictures, and disrespect other people need to grow up and act like intelligent adults.

Have any of you thought about why we are still in Iraq, despite the fact no WMD were found?

I thought they "officially" said the war was over and gave Iraq back to the people. Are we at war or aren't we? If we aren't, why are our troops still dying and why are they going to send another 20,000+? What about the billions of dollars spent on the war in Iraq? And the billions more to be committed to rebuilding?

And what ever happened to our search for Bin Laden?

How many troops do we have to actually protect us, here in the USA? What would happen to the USA if we are attacked, on our own soil?

Does anyone know for sure? What's really going on?

Yes, it's still going on....pretty much one sided now. Rosie's on vacation but the Donald is till running his mouth. Says Barbara Walters wants to fire Rosie, and now Barbara is going on the air saying that's a bunch of baloney.

When will this end & when will the Donald grow up? He isn't acting at all rational. Wouldn't it be better to just let things go, especially if you have the money & power of Donald Trump?

I'm home, not fighting the crowds at the mall. I know thee are some good deals out there, but you gotta ask yourself: Is it worth getting in your car and then fighting the traffic and crowds? What do you think?
