...To quit hijacking Boogyman’s “The Liberal/Communist Agenda” blog.  I will start a new one.  Am I the only one who sees that one of the loudest voices of the Democrat party are socialist?

Today’s Democrat Party is selling change again and they have exactly the same kinds of change in mind that Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev and Alinsky had in mind.

Today’s Democrats call themselves “the Party of the Working Class, the poor, the downtrodden.” They promise to rob from “the rich” for the betterment of the poor. In other words, they are selling exactly what Marx and many other communists have sold over the years, “From each, according to his ability; to each, according to his need.”

Same Change – New Name

Socialized medicine is being sold as “universal health care” - Government ownership or control of the nation’s vast natural resources is being sold as “environmentalism” – Freedom of Religion is now being sold as “freedom from religion,” in accordance with the Marx view that “The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.” Need I go on with example after example, through every facet of today’s federal atrocity called government, before you will realize what we have done?

Corporations, which are nothing more than people, from the hourly worker to the CEO and shareholder, are now the “evil” face of Democrat’s primary target, capitalism. That’s because Democrats have adopted the belief of Vladimir Lenin, that “Capitalists are no more capable of self-sacrifice than a man is capable of lifting himself up by his own bootstraps.”

In sum, according to Lenin and today’s Democrats, the average American is no longer suited for self-governance and they (Democrats) must step in and rob from those greedy capitalists in order to save you from yourself.

As Hillary Clinton recently stated it quite clearly, “We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.” Nikita Khrushchev said it this way, “Comrades! We must abolish the cult of the individual decisively, once and for all” and obviously, today’s Democrat Party is united in this belief system.

The Obama Revolution

On the basis of an abstract idea, change, which none of his followers can define because he refuses to openly define it himself, Obama fans, and that is the correct term since he is nothing more than a media creation, swoon at his feet like prepubescent girls at a Beatles concert, begging to be led deeper and deeper into Democratic Socialism whereby private resources can be confiscated by the federal government from unwilling private citizens who earned them, for the greater common good.

There is nothing new, innovative or exciting about the kinds of change being offered by today’s DNC. They are the same old revolutionary ideas of men like Lenin, Marx and Alinsky in the past, and Chavez and Castro today.

It hasn't work in any country that has ever been or has even come close to practicing the Facism that was espoused by Marx...what makes anyone think it will be any better for America? It has come at us in subliminal ways "just because it is good for us, therefore it will be good for the country" that we haven't noticed or we have let it slide. If my neighbor wants to smoke, eat bacon fat, and drive an SUV...let him..I dont care and neither should the US GOVT.

procreate you can hijack my blogs any ole day.
I love this post and now we all can sit back and watch the liberal hate machine attack you for saying this.
My God how the truth must hurt.
The funniest thing about this is the liberals are the ones who say the right wants socailism and how we are the nazis yet they have nothing to back their statements and yet you have how many points here that shows liberals want socialism. Oh they are so going to get you procreate, I bet your moniker alone enrages our liberal buddys.

My, my...where do we start?

Free enterprise will do. Your hero G.W. (porkchop) Bush believes in freely bailing out his fat cat pals (greedy lenders and today his pals at Bear/Stearns) hardly a ringing endorsement of letting the free market system correct itself.I suspect government bailing out the rich at the expense of the poor and middle class is a good business model?

How about bankrupting our country because of outrageous deficit spending? We aren't spending it for the benefit of Americans citizens so I guess it can not be "socialistic" (spending money to benefit our own society)...we all prefer that we spend 12 billion dollars per month in George's cesspool. Sure we do.

Lenin, Marx, Hitler, Stalin Idi Amin all had one thing in common....they ignored the law when it suited them, they used torture on their enemies, they believed that the end justified the means, they used the "big lie" to fool the populace, they pitted the classes and groups against each other....but wait isn't that what Dick and Dumb do?

Socialism is all bad right? If so why don't you send your social security check back and refuse to use medicare when you are old and sick? Put your money where your mouth is if you really believe your paste job.

YD I have some good news and some bad news.

The badnews: We don't have anyone worth 2 shts
in a doggy bag running for president.

The good news is we are going to keep Bush Commander and cheif for another 4 years.
I think you should be very exited about that because this will allow you to focus on your hate For Bush.

This is where you are confused YD GWB is neither my hero nor my idol. I am however tired of seeing him getting blamed for everything under the sun. The “buck stops here” statement you like to use …got it… That is a leadership role that must be played at his level however; it really has no validity if you hands are tied by bureaucracy. Now as far as 12 billion dollar a month cost (who really knows?) a majority is trickled right back into the economy i.e. logistical support, production, money spent on government contractors, and the list goes on and on. Yes a portion does not directly come back into the U.S. economy however; with the globalization of the world economy it eventually does come back one way or another. I am not quite sure how a war that has been drudging along since 2001 can constitute the recent U.S. economy downturn (this I would like to hear). I point my fingers to the housing debacle and its ripple effect. Now as far as the “big lie” we have been going over this for months and I am really tired of telling you the same thing…I am waiting for some fresh blogger to ridicule on that one. You are a hard headed YellowDog who can’t get beyond the “Big Lie” conspiracy theory. Give me a while and I will try and break it down Barney style to you again.

You are a worthy conversationalist Pro, as is my pal BM.

You have not however addressed the abuse of free enterprise by our government (not the Dems) nor the relative benefit for some forms of socialism?

Is socialism really a bad word?

YD, I would not give them one penny of my SS checks back ...they stole that money from me fair and square and I will take it back...thank you. How sad I wasn't able to keep every single dollar that was donated to the Social Security Scam and invest it myself.

Define which free enterprises you feel is being abused and I will giv’er a try. The biggest problem that I see with socialism (10,000 ft view) is that it turns a bootstrap society to one that is dependent on an institution. While the military that Boogymann was in and the one that I am currently in are different ends of the spectrum I am sure he will agree that the social programs did not work as a whole.

Socialism has never worked.

Dog please tell me your not in favor for socailism.

Pro if you are in the military now I can guarantee you are in a better place than I was. But I wouldn't ever say that it is still a terrifying expeience. ecspecially when the best you can do is curl up into a ball in 3x3 hole you just dug and prey they don't kill you. And hope like hell you soon hear the helo's because they are bringing more ammo because we had ran out over an hour ago.

I would carry that one step further, Pro and state that ALL of the voices of the democrat party are SOCIALISTIC in their views.

For all of the idiotic things that Bush & company have shoved down our throats (and there are plenty of them), the ONE thing that he TRIED to do right was to revamp Social Security. And his proposals were promptly shot down by the Congress.

You open another can of worms Freak.

Let's suppose that the greedy and stupid used their SS trust(my $$ will be there when I need it) fund to buy 3 "investment houses" or invest in "hedge funds" two years ago (assuming the Dick and Dumb proposal had passed).

Result : We have an additional 20 million people whose brilliant "investments" wiped out their retirement funds.

Result : They are broke with not home or income.

Result : Those of us with a job or who did not waste our $$$ must keep these greedy citizens from freezing or starving (SOCIALISM).

Be careful what you ask for. SS sucks but if you are old and sick what do you have and what is the duty of the society?

If we Left it to the individual to do their own planning our welfare programs would triple in size.

I am in favor of the government (no matter who occupies the post at the time) of staying out of my life, my business, my family, my faith, my self defense and generally leaving me the hell alone.

I am still a registered Democrat because when I first registered it was the party of the middle class and the Republicans were controlled by rich guys and old dames with lots of pearls.

I would have become a Libertarian but they have never been viable even thou I've voted for a couple. I would have become a Republican except Falwell highjacked the party.

We are supposedly a "Christian" nation...even thou nothing in our Constitution makes reference to Jesus...we are however "founded under God". My understanding of the commandments of Christ, requires me as a Christian to feed and clothe the poor, to love my neighbor as myself and to do the Lords work.

If we are indeed a "Nation Under God", we have no choice but to do the above as a Nation and also as individuals. Like it or not,if you claim to be a Christian or believe we are a "Nation Under GOD", and do not wish to be a hypocrite, you have NO choice.

Is this socialism? Of course it is. Jesus was the first great LIBERAL and SOCIALIST. Therefore when you make a general statement in opposition to all socialism you advocate a philosophy contrary to the requirement laid down by our founding Father, GOD.

Pretty simple concept to me.

Points well-taken, one and all, my friend.

HOWEVER, (am I am certainly not a biblical scholar) I believe that Jesus (God) would not embrace a philosophy that allow individuals to suck off of the public t!t indefinitely (that expression I learned from my American Government teacher in high school - thanks, Colonel Walker, God rest his soul).

I wholeheartedly believe in compassion for those down on their luck - UP TO A POINT.

But liberal policies over the past seventy years have not only failed to cure poverty, they have created a whole segment of society that believes that "the government" (meaning you and I) owes them a free ride. Somehow, I do not believe in my heart of hearts that this is what Jesus envisioned.

Determining the "point" is the issue Freak.

Jesus did not set limits, if you are hungry you are fed.

The homeless "problem" is a prime example. Churches run all sorts of programs which may attract "undesirables" to the neighborhood but they have no choice. Hungry is hungry, no matter the cause.

The role of government is the issue and a legitimate one too. However, the folks who yell the loudest about this "founded under God" country going to hell should examine their own understanding of Jesus. I believe they may be the ones who yell loudest about the evils of socialism.

"...if you are hungry you are fed."

That may have worked 2000 years ago. But imagine what that would be like today. Come to think of it, I ALREADY KNOW what it would be like.

If you need medical care, it is provided for you whether you are insured or whether you have money or not. And look what you've got. You've got hospitals like Shands in Gainesville (and I'm sure, everywhere) whose emergency rooms are little more than walk-in clinics for people seeking treatment for free because they know that they'll not be turned away.

But you ARE correct in that determining the "point" is the crux of the problem.

God's work is God's and the Government is the Government's. They don't mix very well. I am compassionate and I too believe in helping those that can't help themselves. That is a Judeo/Christian principle. Religious entitities should work collectively to do what they are commanded to do. The government programs are carte blanche programs that are riddled with fraud and the ones really needing help do not get it. The churches have been building fortunes and have turned away from their task at hand and left it up to the government. I protest vehemently against the millions that are on SSI with common backaches and alcoholism, drug addictions, medically controlled mental illness and so forth.
If our taxes are to be spent this way..then do something to correct the fraud and abuse. I know certain people that need the help and they get turned away, not even the "church" will help them. That is who I want to get my tax dollars..not the freeloaders.

..and YD...if a church is reaching out to feed the hungry and the neighbors don't like the pitiful hungry and homeless in their neighborhood they have no compassion and they will have to answer for their selfish attitudes someday. Homeless and Hungry people aren't very pretty but they are prettier than the one's that want to deny them food for the sake of their beautiful well manicured street and lawns.

"I protest vehemently against the millions that are on SSI with common backaches..."

RL, my next-door neighbor when I lived in Pinellas was a textbook example of someone that milked the system because she could (or, as Colonel Walker called them, "Suckers off the public T1T"). She never held a job because she was collecting SSI for her "bad back". And every day I would see her pedaling her bike toward the Pinellas Trail. Now if her back was so bad that she couldn't WORK, how in the he!! could she get out and bicycle every day?

And people wonder why I am such a rabid conservative!

Did I ever tell you the story about our losing our home to Hurricane Jeanne???

BTW RL, your statement...

"God's work is God's and the Government is the Government's."

But the point is...if we are a "nation founded under God" doesn't the Nation (government) have a duty to feed and cloth as God commands?
