Because of people like Clinton and Obama in office. Thats why they dont care about us and everyone else instead.

To be fair it was Bush that was crying over the “plight of Africa” on TV today ...but last time I looked he was not running for office so I am looking at Mac/Obama for where they stand on waisting our money over there when we have people here who don't work and suffer just as well (I actually agree with old Dan Quail that people are poor because they choose to be poor) ...but if you agree with me why am I wrong on this one Afelton ? ...I have not seen Mac talk about this subject yet but I have seen Obama make some very long speeches about how America is not doing enough for Africa...

...sorry don't know what I was reading, must have been another blog. And i do want to see what McCain has to say about this one..if you think about it he is damned if he does and damned if he does not ! If he says no to funds for Africa he is “no caring” and if he says yes he is turning his back on the minority's here....I think Obama wins this one by default and deception !

Ain't it a shame that the collection of war torn country's we call Africa has 5% of the worlds oil 100% of the worlds diamonds AND uranium plus the most fertile land on earth and they still can't feed themselves if we don't help....I will say it , the trains and the boats ran and they ran on time when England held Africa IF they where still a province of the British empire Africa would be sending “food aid” to US ! ...but the “humanitarian “ thing to do was for England to withdraw and let them rule themselves . LOL

It's been probably a year and a half, but some African nations were asking for the developed nations to up their contribution to the World Bank. The press asked Bush about this and he said NO. This answer didn't seem to suit the press, so they inquired why. Bush chuckled and replied : " BECAUSE THEY ARE CORRUPT !" Right answer I do believe. Money and food goes there, and the goverments and rebels are the first in line, after that there is little to nothing to trickle down. All you end up with is wealthy,well-fed, rebels, politicians and goverment thieves !
