So in Denver the DNC has very quietly built its own little “secret prison” in a warehouse near down town , to facilitate the rapid processing of any one who protests their convention.

Ain't it funny the way liberals defend “free speech” and embrace different views !!!

What did the great American hero Timothy Dale Johnson write on a wall at his place of employment (a target store in Arkansas) that prompted them to fire him , call police but also destroy all evidence before they arrived ? What did this man who is now dead after killing some democrat in the state government that no one cares about and then being shot to death by police have to say that Target did not want anyone to see ?....

Why when we are all suffering so badly are we being asked to send MORE money to Africa ? Why is their problem MY emergency ?

We have “aids” and poverty HERE , we have suffering in this country why and how can I not be angry that we are giving our tax dollars to them and not using them to help our people

Denver's City Council president is getting hammered with hate-filled messages in response to Tuesday's surprise performance of the "Black National Anthem" by a jazz singer during a city event.

Chanteuse Rene Marie had been invited by Mayor John Hickenlooper's office to sing the national anthem during his annual State of the City address.

Council President Michael Hancock, who is black, was the master of ceremonies. He introduced Marie, who sang what is known as the "Black National Anthem" instead.

Her performance evoked angry reactions among some of the estimated 700 people at the event.

Marie sang the first verse of James Weldon Johnson's Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing, also known as the "Black National Anthem," but adapted those lyrics to the tune of the The Star-Spangled Banner.

In a statement late Tuesday, Hickenlooper said: "I'm disappointed that this matter has been a distraction from the great work and significant accomplishments of our city employees over the past year and the many important initiatives on tap for the coming year."

Hickenlooper said in an interview that he spoke to Marie after the ceremony and that she apologized profusely for any problems she may have caused him.

The mayor also said that Marie told him she meant no disrespect.

"She blended the two songs together," Hickenlooper said. "She was trying to make an artistic expression of her love for the country. She did not intend to make a political statement or anything."

Marie said she had no regrets. She deliberately didn't tell anybody about her song choice "because I don't think it is necessary for an artist to ask permission to express themselves artistically," she said.

"I would not change a thing," Marie said.

So what do you think guys was this NOT a political statement as the singer says, is it OK to pretend to be singing a long held song of national strength an unity but once you have the stage instead push a secular separatist agenda ? ...Are we even talking about a song here or are we talking about the open determination of some blacks to drive us all further apart !

This is a little know fact from before WW-II (full story at this link :http://www.agriculture.com/ag/story.jhtml?storyid=/te

Ethanol is far from a “new” idea and was first developed and distributed in our fuel to prevent “knocking” from pre-detonation . Blends of 5% to 17% where common in the 30's and NO lawsuits where every filed over problems arising from the use of ethanol in fuel , but the oil industry did file lawsuits to stop the use of ethanol and found that the substance tetraethyl (lead) was found to be cheaper and so replaced ethanol ! LOL to bad it was so poisonous that we had to remove it AND reduce the efficiency of our cars to burn low octane gas ...fact is we Missed a golden opportunity to step forward in our overall MPG when we turned our back on the very best high compression technology and developed the very wasteful cars we now run ! Fact is more harm than good has been done by our “half-bleep” environmental efforts......

In todays interrogation of oil executives a democrat (congresswoman Maxine Waters of Los Angeles ) let slip that they have a plan (bill already drafted) to have the government take possession ownership/control of all American oil companies. So how many of you think having the same people who run the post office run oil is a good idea ?

Fact is that the fastest easiest thing anyone can do to save some gas and money is to : Run down the check list.

1 check tire pressure

2 Change your motor oil * and filters if needed including fuel filter.

3 Tune engine

4 Keep your foot out of the throttle, avoid “jack rabbit” starts and try not to constantly speed up and slow down.

* most “additives” for fuel** and oil are a waste of time and money , but changing to a synthetic oil can improve your MPG as much as 1% and will save money over time because you don't have to change it as often. ** some cars do need fuel injector cleaner from time to time but using it all the time is not a “magic trick” and will not do anything if used all the time...if your MPG drops if you don't put injector cleaner in your car every week you already need repairs to your injector system and are wasting gas until you actually do the needed maintenance...(just have the system cleaned by a mechanic and get it over with)

This list of simple tip/tricks will work on any car or truck and will work for any type of driver. Add to it if you think of anything car guys ! But I am trying to make it a list that anyone can use.

Florida will be implementing a new “Tier system” to cap funds available in all programs (Federal and State) for handicapped individuals . All clients of APD : Agency for Persons with Disability (but only those who are not in a hospital or nursing home*) will be placed in one of 4 categories with a spending limit on each category. No information is available or will be made available on what criteria is being used to “sort” people into the categories...If you are on Medicaid Medicare or any other APD/DCF/HHR program of any kind you will be affected by this change.

* for anyone who is Dependant on a current service to continue to live in your own home you do have th option of turning yourself in to a state funded nursing home...many of you will have NO other option!

OK so another bill : HR 5800 has hit the floor of congress to add more tax to the price of oil. Do you think it will help the average American ? And because I live in the real world where we deal in facts and reality could you tell me how?

For historical reference the last time we enacted a *WOT was under Jimmy Carter the tax was projected to “lower the cost of gas and generate 364 billion dollars in tax revenue” well fact is it did not work ...in the 8 years that this tax was in affect it only generated 80 billion dollars and all tho the price of gas did go down (sort of LOL) it was because OPEC ended the embargo and not because we taxed oil ! I will also point out that once the federal government gets its teeth into a new “vein” of our money it is almost impossible to shack them to give up the money , last time it took electing “Ray-Gun to get ride of this particular tax ...any of you see anyone a strong as Regan out there anywhere in our future ? LOL
