Looks like we've all forgoten what's going on in Somalia right now. There are 2 reasons for this. They're dark skinned folks and they have no oil. Nothing on the evening news about Somalia, right?

actually vit there is oil in somalia and the chinese are on it like rice on white....in fact the big fracus in the sudan has alot to do with the Chinese oil rights..and the slave labor they are using. These people will always suffer unless they learn a big lesson in DEMOCRACY...the crooked corrupt governments have kept these people starving for many many years.
The Financial Times reported on July 13 that the Chinese National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) had signed a deal with Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf to explore the northern Puntland region for oil. The initial agreement was signed in May, and it was endorsed at the China-Africa summit held in Beijing last November.

I just came back from Germany three weeks ago. We visited the Dachua concentration camp and it was so sad. I have seen movies, read books and attended talks on these events but until you walk where they walked, it really doesn't hit you. I thought I would be creeped out but I was at peace as I prayed for their souls and that nothing like that would ever happen again

Grew up in the good ol' 50's and 60's. I am opininated, sappy, sentimental and love my Country..but hate where it is headed (socialists scare the bejeebers out of me). I want to retire but can't afford to do so. Love the outdoors. Believe in right to carry arms for protection and sports. Married to a wonderful guy that knows the way to my heart is buying me a load of potting soil from the rock and gravel man.
