If anything good came out of Katrina it would be the election of Bobby Jindal for the Gov.

I listened to his speech before the NPC luncheon and he has been making the circuit of a few talk shows and interviews here and there and he is going to get things done in LA. I am quite impressed by commitment and follow-up of his promises in restoring  NOLA as well as redefining and reestablishing LA as a prominent State in the Union.

LA has a bright future. It has many many things going for it to boost its own revenue as well as boost the economy nationwide.  Commercial Fishing, sport fishing, oil, agriculture to name a few.

LA will undoubtedly become a State that many will soon be looking at for tourism, retirement, higher education and small and corporate business.  I predict, with the leadership of Bobby Jindal and others like him we will be amazed in the next 10 years of the transformation.

Let us hope that he does not waste his talent and give in to Mccain if he is asked to be on the ticket as VP.

There are a few things that make me ashamed to be an American. How we treat our old people, veterans, etc. as well as why we have failed to rebuild New Orleans. We built up Tokyo and Berlin faster. Our government has misplaced values to say the least.

When I heard Mr. Jindal speaking about the insane beauracy that the people of New Orleans and the State have had to deal with it just makes you sick to your stomach. That is the core of why things can't get done after such a catastrophe.

Grew up in the good ol' 50's and 60's. I am opininated, sappy, sentimental and love my Country..but hate where it is headed (socialists scare the bejeebers out of me). I want to retire but can't afford to do so. Love the outdoors. Believe in right to carry arms for protection and sports. Married to a wonderful guy that knows the way to my heart is buying me a load of potting soil from the rock and gravel man.
