Apes are People Too!

Spain's parliament voiced its support on Wednesday for the rights of great apes to life and freedom in what will apparently be the first time any national legislature has called for such rights for non-humans.

There you go US Congress, There you go Obama and Mccain,  THERE'S YOUR SIGN! And think of how many apes are in custody in US zoos, hey you can even give them the right to vote too (just have plenty of bananas on hand at the polls).

All you Monkey's Uncles will have a heydey moving that into law...and don't forget if it doesn't get enacted it may have to go to the US SUPREME COURT, where, I am sure they would have more concern and respect for a chimp than a child who has been raped.

Well, they may be adorable in a pair of "Pull-Ups" and sucking on a Binky, clutching the arm
of their owner, but I don't think I'd be too happy about one sitting next to my Grandbaby on his first day of Kindergarten!
I can't WAIT to see what my buddy Gorilla has to say about THIS! LOL!

Grew up in the good ol' 50's and 60's. I am opininated, sappy, sentimental and love my Country..but hate where it is headed (socialists scare the bejeebers out of me).
