Dear Mrs. Clinton,

What exactly was it about Barack Obama’s comments on small towns that show he’s out of touch with the values of common folk?

I’ve cut and pasted what the Huffington Post reported below:

“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them...And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

Sounds to me like he’s very much in touch. While blue collar America probably doesn’t like looking at itself in the mirror, clearly the guy has spent some time thinking about what’s wrong with this country.

I hope that if he’s elected, he puts his money where his mouth is and does all he can to support an improved education system across the board so that some of these systemic problems in our society are mitigated.

But of course Mrs. Clinton you don’t want that. Just like your Republican friends across the aisle, you play on people’s ignorance, their fears, and their prejudices to get elected.

BOO, Mrs. Clinton, BOO

We’re tired of the same ole, same ole. Go back to Arkansas or New York, or wherever you call home these days and leave us alone.

Obama and Clinton are the same person execpt for the fact that Obama thinks small town white America is a bunch of gun totting racists. Remember America is not anti-Imigrant we are just anti-ilegal alein there is a difference.

"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

That right there, when translated from political mumbo jumbo, is just another way to say they are angry gun totting bible thumping redneck racists. And where did Obama learn this piece of insight? From Rev Wright, his long time spiritual leader! Remember, it's Rev. Wright that said the government created the AIDS virus to wipe out blacks! Somehow we are supposed to ignore Obama's racist remarks and are told he meant it another way. He's not out of touch, he just sees average Americans as angry, armed, god fearing racists! And he wants to be OUR president? YEH RIGHT! *lol*

Let me parse his remarks for you.

"...they get bitter" = Angry
"...they cling to guns" = Armed(against non-whites)
"...or religion" = Bible thumpers(not meant in a good way)
"...antipathy to people who aren't like them" = Racist

Dont you get it? Maybe he should do a little less "thinking" as you say and get out there and TALK TO THE PEOPLE HE SAYS ARE ANGRY RACISTS!

You are the one who doesn't get it.

"They get bitter" = Darn right they're angry. Who wouldn't be when they work their butts off and never get ahead.

"They cling to guns" = Wouldn't you watching the violence shown on the news every night and listening to the gun advocates who say the only way to protect your family is to be armed to the teeth?

"or religion" = A philosophy that says it's okay to be miserable in this life because you'll get "your reward" in the next. What a great way to convince blue collar America that they shouldn't expect more than they have. First used by kings and now used by corporations...

"antipathy to people who aren't like them" = It's a well known characteristic of humans to distrust people who aren't like them - it's just part of our psychology. The only way to overcome it is through education.

Obama is not looking down on blue collar America. He showing he deeply understands how that culture works and how working class Americans are constantly manipulated by the system.

He's willing to have and honest and forthright dialog about it, but how can he when people like you and Hillary Clinton are so quick to shout him down with labels like racist?

Open your heart and your mind and lets fix what's wrong with this country.

You said this...

"They get bitter" = Darn right they're angry. Who wouldn't be when they work their butts off and never get ahead."

The people that show up for politcal rallies, are NOT the typical person. The average blue collar person does just fine and I would think most of them would discribe themselves as happy. You on the other hand sound quite bitter.

THEN YOU SAID.....

"They cling to guns" = Wouldn't you watching the violence shown on the news every night and listening to the gun advocates who say the only way to protect your family is to be armed to the teeth?"

The average person DOES NOT own and gun and IS NOT a victim of crime. I live in a typical middle class neighborhood and I have never felt the need to own a gun. However, if I feel I need one, I hope there is still a 2nd ammendment to allow it.

THEN YOU SAID...

"or religion" = A philosophy that says it's okay to be miserable in this life because you'll get "your reward" in the next. What a great way to convince blue collar America that they shouldn't expect more than they have. First used by kings and now used by corporations..."

Where do I begin with this looloo! Where do you see anyone saying it's ok to be miserable? This shows a complete lack of understanding on the subject of religion. And I take it you lump all religions onto the same misguided heap? The liberal religion tells people that they need not work for anything that the government will give them all the need in this life.

THEN YOU SAID...

"antipathy to people who aren't like them" = It's a well known characteristic

You know what, I ran out of room to counter the rest of what you said but I think people get to your eplaination is religion, they'll see who the real bitter person. Retyping the rest of my rebuttal isn't worth my time now. Good luck with all that anger you have there.

LOL,

Yea, I'm harboring sooooo much anger.

You get so angry while having a discussion that all you can do is splutter.

If you can't grasp the concept that politicians like Clinton and nearly all of the Republicans know that the surest way to get yourself elected is to play on people's ignorance, fears and prejudices, then I suggest you get off your soap box and go study a little political science.

But you obviously can't grasp it because you've been played for quite some time.

Playing on people ignorance? Isn't that like saying you are for change and then not giving an explaination of how or what you would change? You hope people are too ignorant ask what, or how things will change. You just keep repeting the same tired line over and over and you pray no one will call your bluff. Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change Change. That's Obama's platform.

I suggest that you go study religion because it's something you can't grasp. Also, dont mistake my typing skills or lack of them for any kind of spluttering. I could debate you with one hand tied behind my back. Although it might have more typos in it! *lol*

Since you are or seem to be an Obama supporter, please tell us how he plans to change anything. I don't want to hear WHAT he'll change unless you can also tell us HOW he'll do it. A couple of examples would be nice. I have yet to hear him lay out a plan for anything yet.

Silly me. How dare I demand change when it's so clear that there's nothing wrong with our society. Get your head out of the sand.

What would I change? For starters, I'd improve education in this country so that people could shake off some of the crutches that Obama mentioned in his speech.

And improving education does not mean trying to torpedo the public education system by setting up charter schools or giving out vouchers so your kids can wallow in religious indoctrination.

It also doesn't mean setting up a meaningless standardized test system that has proved to be such a complete farce in Florida.

It means paying teachers a decent wage so that you can pick and choose amongst the best of the best to educate our children.

"How dare I demand change when it's so clear that there's nothing wrong with our society."

Be careful what you wish for. You may just get it.

If you think things can't possibly be worse, vote Democratic. You will see how much worse it can and will get.
But go ahead. Live in your fantasy world.

Republicrat,

You speak like your new hero. Not once in that lovely disertation did you explain HOW you would change any of that. I dont disagree that the education system needs working over but I'm not the one who's running for president! I want to hear HIS PLAN for change, not just WHAT he wants to change.

You also forget that those who use a voucher for a charter school, they choose the school themselves. So they must approve of the "religious indoctrination" you so mindlessly railed against. But there's that anger issue I said you had just raising it's ugly little head. You should watch that.

NOW GO TELL ME HOW OBAMA WILL CHANGE ANYTHING! NOT JUST WHAT BUT ALSO HOW! NOT WHAT YOU WOULD DO, BUT WHAT HE WOULD DO! WHAT'S HIS PLAN?

That any clearer? You must have been a victim of the educational system because you missed that the 1st time around.

What part of paying teachers more so that you can afford to pick and choose amongst the best did you not understand as an explanation of HOW to change the system.

Speaking of being a victim of the educational system.....

Or did you attend at all?

You are a compleate fool. HOW will he pay them more? How will he fund the extra pay? How will the federal government tell the states to pay them more? Remember, there is no national education system. Only state systems. Ever heard of states rights? So again I ask you, HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW? Did you not understand me? Telling me he'll pay them more is a WHAT! Now go back and correct your paper and tell me HOW. Bet you got that a lot of that in school huh? This is your last chance to correct this F grade!*lol*

Taxpayers will pay, and pay dearly, as they will not have to only for taxpayers children, but also the children of non-taxpayers (welfare) and the children of non-residents. (anchor babies)

Bend over US taxpayer, you will soon be getting it worse than ever if either of those two bickering fools sit in the seat.

Getting us out of the Iraq quagmire that you brain dead neocons have gotten us into should free up billions to spend on real problems like education.

I love your spelling of complete by the way - I think that's how they spelled it in the middle ages - very appropriate.

Do your knuckles drag the ground too?

The real beginning of the end for Obama was his preacher of 20-years Jeremiah (God DAMN America) Wright. Few people are buying Obama's weak excuses that he didn't really know what that man was preaching. Twenty years --- and he didn't know. First of all, people don't particularly like fools who run around saying God Damn America. Th3e Pope was at the White House yesterday. He said "God BLESS America." People like that.

Secondly, people don't particularly trust someone who can have this happening right under his nose for 20 years and not know about it. How in the hell is Barack Obama going to keep up with the nuances of world politics if he doesn't even know what's happening in his own America-hating church.

But .. here's the clincher. Race pimps are starting to scream "racism" every single time someone not black says anything negative about Barack Obama. After Barrack's absurd San Francisco statement about rural people turning to guns and God out of bitterness, some started suggesting that Obama may be just a bit of an elitist. No sooner were those words out of some white mouth than someone else was saying that the word "elitist" is really a code word for "uppity Negro." Give me a break. And then when John McCain had the audacity to make a speech in Meridian, Mississippi; some Obama supporter was blogging on the Internet that McCain's speech was a "dog whistle" for white racists. That would be because Meridian is only 40 miles from Philadelphia – the site of the murders of three civil rights workers in the 60s. By "dog whistle" for white racists, this Obama supporter meant that only whites would be able to discern the racism inherent in McCain's decision to speak so closely to Philadelphia, Mississippi.

It is apparent now that a white person is not going to be permitted to criticize Barack Obama in any way – on any issue – without various race pimps and warlords screaming "racist." People are going to get sick and tired of this real quick. Voters are going to start thinking about what it would be like if Obama were actually in the White House. Would any criticism of an Obama initiative be branded as racist? Think about it --- if merely making a speech in Meridian, MS is racist --- if calling someone an elitist is racists --- I think you can answer that one yourself.

Oba

Obama's biggest enemies in this election process will be his own supporters – eager to find and expose racial bias in every utterance. It's already tiring. Quickly it will become unbearable.

Obama's biggest enemy is his mouth. He can't open it without having to release his foot later.
Come to think of it, Hillary is even worse!

Either one of them will be fun to watch, going up against McCain! LMAO!!!

McCain will lose by a margin of 9%-15% of the popular vote. His campaign will sink into the ground by September and all will be lost for him.
